This is a wonderful book about friendship. Two people truly committed to each others lives and whose lives are both enriched by the other. Our main character, blind to the fact that her life is not what she thinks it is, is whisked away on the trip of a lifetime with her best friend. As we move through the book, she discovers, who she is and what she really wants from life. She also discovers the life she thought she was living wasn't as she perceived. Through it all her best friend is right there by her side.
