The forest that Jak, his bond-mates, and his tribe call home is safe now that they have secured alliances with the secretive nymphs and the brutal karn clan they share the space with.
Or that's what everyone thought until an army of the lethal corrupted attacked their forest.
With the threat of the corrupted rising, the ever-present danger of the massive and violent Tolvar Tribe, and the possibility of other threats lurking elsewhere on the island, Jak knows the time has come to look outside of his forest for new allies. They cannot hope to stand against those who want them dead, but not all on the island seek their slaughter.
Can Jak and his tribe of exiles unite them against certain destruction?
RAW contains tribe building, savage violence, and primeval babes.
I am Misty Vixen (not my real name obviously), and I imagine that if you’re reading this, you want to know a bit more about me.
In the beginning (late 2014), I was an erotica author. I wrote about sex, specifically about human men banging hot inhuman women. Monster girls, alien ladies, paranormal babes. It was a lot of fun, but as the years went on, I realized that I was actually striving to be a harem author. This didn’t truly occur to me until late 2019-early 2020. Once the realization fully hit, I began doing research on what it meant to be a harem author. I’m kind of a slow learner, so it’s taken me a bit to figure it all out.
That being said, I’m now a harem author!
Just about everything I write nowadays is harem fiction: one man in loving, romantic, highly sexual relationships with several women. Nowadays, I tend to write more human on human stuff, but I still have a lot of non-human ladies in mind for the future, so if that’s your thing then stick around.
I’d say beyond writing harems, I tend to have themes that I always explore in my fiction, and they encompass things like trust, communication, respect, honesty, dealing with emotional problems in a mature way…basically I like writing about functional and healthy relationships. Not every relationship is perfect, but I don’t really do drama unless the story actually calls for it. In total honesty, I hate drama. I hate people lying to each other and I hate needless rom-com BS plots that could have been solved by two characters having a two minute conversation.
This was another fun and exciting addition to the Raw series! It seems like this title was getting really serious into the preparations of a war and has introduced a lot of new characters and species. Now, I just have to wait for book 5 to be released.

“Raw IV: A Primeval Harem” is another excellent book in this very enjoyable series! Jak’s tribe of exiles from various races continues to grow (now over 100), but 100 is not nearly enough to stay safe under the onslaught of the Tolvar, the Embyr and the corrupt creatures of the ever-growing Barrens.
Jak seeks alliances with Niri’s former tribe of elves; meeting the selfish leader along with more sensible members of the tribe. He also meets with the nymphs of another forest, more Karn, and a small village of Valts. Each group requires a favor of Jak…generally involving battling against one or more fierce creatures, of course!
Happily, Jak finds time to spend with his bond-mates from earlier books, and his eye does appreciate several potential new bond-mates for books yet to come! Author Misty Vixen continues to give distinct personalities to everyone, and narrator Katana Jones continues to excel with the narration! She did a particularly amazing job expressing anxiety as the fierce alien Terek approaches Jak!
I enjoyed rejoining the lives of Jak and his friends and family, and I look forward to the next book. As Jak is thinking at the end of this book….”The war could begin”!
Alternate world magic harem monster girls zombies Jak gets around. While there are a few battles, he also travels a lot, trying to convince other monster race tribes to fight the human Tolvar tribe as they begin killing all nonhumans and instead of exiling them, also killing any humans able to use magic. There is also the growing threat of the "Corrupted" aka zombies, a legacy of where a huge amount of death magic was once used slaughter many of the enemy races -- humans, karn (aka lizard men), the sea warriors called valt, and the psychic embyr (some of whom mentally enslave the karn.
Dawn the nymph tumbles often with the MC, liking both his prowess and man bits; Makes three wives know about it but don't seem jealous. Lysane the elf also seems to have become an admirer, having seen him use his super speed and during a stream bath, his man bits. A tad slow at some points, it's still a fun survival world-building story with pretty monster girls and women who can use magic. Enjoyed.

Misty you are “one in a million”. Even with some written errors missed by “proof readers” and spell check your style is awesome. Stories are excellent. Characters enjoyable and over all story concepts without a doubt very different from most in your genre. I am a fan and will recommend you to all. Keep writing. I cannot wait for Raw V and maybe more!
Absolutely loving the progress in the past two books. The alliance building has been great to read about, as well as each character having their own personality/mannerisms. Thats definitely a big relief lol. Also, Jak being a no nonsense MC who doesn’t take other people’s shit, is lovely. Can’t wait for the next book!
This whole series was a read between set of books for me. But I was expecting a three then four book series. I got and read book four thinking this would be it and I wanted to see how it all played out. Now I find out there's going to be more. Don't know yet if ill continue this journey or not, I guess we'll sed.
4.5 stars. The series continues, and the story has moved ahead enough that the big conflicts are looming. Two very different problems, so I'll be interested to see where the author is going with this.
Jak is basically Commander Shepherd in Mass Effect 3. He’s gathering a multi-species alliance to combat the alien evil that threatens all life and reanimates the dead, while also banging all the non-human ladies. Digging it.
The series continues with Jak trying to unite the island against the corruption. There are a few new interesting characters introduced but not a lot of overall plot movement. Still, the story is enjoyable and I will be continuing onto the next book.
Have enjoyed this series very much. Cant wait for raw 5. Great story line with great characters. Very descriptive very easy to picture yourself in the story.
Misty Vixen once again delivers a book full of action, suspense, intrigue, tolerance, and acceptance! I love the overall theme of this series while delivering much more!
