Brock
Brock is the eldest of the Hamilton siblings. He has two younger brothers, Jaxon and Aiden, and a younger sister, Lucy. Of course, they each have their hang-ups to sort out and you'll be able to guess there's always going to be a romantic interest somewhere in the story!
They are troubled, and they are trouble. They are all fiercely independent, and different, but oh boy, mess with one and you mess with them all.

Brock by Carole Brungar is a good, and enjoyable insta love romance read. The story has a great entertaining fast paced gripping story line. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A great start to this series The Hamiltons. This is a new author for me and I am looking forward to reading the next installment. The story flow well, the characters are likeable and fit well together. A great read to have on holidays.

The first in a new contemporary romance series by one of my favourite authors, Brock is the oldest of the Hamiltons and the first sibling to get his story.
I liked Brock, and was keen to find out his backstory and why he hides away in his cabin in a remote town (sounds like the kind of place I'd like to live). We slowly uncover Brock's past and a twist is revealed which will make Brock take stock of his life and his feelings.
Adelaide is a photographer who comes out to Brock's remote town to take nature photos for a job. I had a love-hate relationship with Adelaide, and it took me quite a while to like her. I found her behaviour towards Brock when she finds herself staying at his house until she can go out to start her job to be extremely rude and if I were him I'd have thrown her out, especially as he didn't want her there to start with and was doing her a favour.
Neither Brock nor Adelaide is looking for love or any sort of romance, but bounce off each other much to both their dislike. As their chemistry grows when they spend time together in the beautiful area of NZ, and they slowly get to know each other, they find themselves scared about where this could lead.
I really came to care about Brock and wanted him to be happy, as for Adelaide, when I found out her backstory I felt compassion for her and understood a bit more about where she was coming from.
This was an easy read and I'm looking forward to seeing how these two are getting on in future books as I'm hoping they will pop up in Brock's siblings' lives.

What a great start to a new series. Fast paced and gripping, it's the type of novel you won't want to put down as the author's words feed your imagination and your wanderlust.
The lead characters are well-written and equally well-suited, although that is not apparent to either of them in the beginning. Both strong minded and determined, the result is a dynamic read with a lot going on until the very end. And what an ending it is.
And Brock's story isn't one you'll forget in a hurry. The scenes in the bush are wonderfully realistic, and the author has painted the township with an equally authentic brush. So much so, I found myself reminiscing about my time in the area from years ago.
I look forward to the next book in the series, however I have no idea how the author will redeem the third brother, Aidan. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

My world is richer for reading this beautiful love story set on our South Island west coast, I especially enjoyed the descriptions of the people, fauna and wildlife. Thank you Carole from one of your many kiwi fans

A very easy reading romance book kept you right to the end. It makes u want to meet the rest of the family. Well done Carole and looking forward to the next one.

loved this book, especially as I have visited this part of the new zealand, but not experienced the sort of places described in the book. Well written and easy reading.

I was pulled in and fell in love straight away I couldn’t put it down. I felt like I was right there in Jackson bay in the hut seeing the kiwi’s and feel the heat of the sun
