Contemporary sports romance author Britney Bell brings you an ugly duckling story with the geeky math teacher and small-town pro football hero.
Lennox had a rough time going through high school being picked on for being smart. So, why would she endure reliving the pain every day as a high school teacher in the very school where she grew up?
Nash had a total opposite experience. He was the jock star who went on to be the award-winning athlete through college and into his professional football career. Now, he's returned to his little hometown, and all he wants to do is coach at the school where it all began.
Will walking the halls of Nelson County High be the same as ten years ago, or will familiar faces make sparks fly to levels high school kids could only dream about?
Order Scoring Santa now to see if the unlikely match were really always meant to be together.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. This was an easy to read, light hearted, sweet and steamy romance with little angst and a sweet HEA ending. Great story to read before bedtime as it'll just put a smile on your face.
Nash was the sports star and a decade later returns to coach. Lennox was the math nerd, shy, bullied and returns to teach at the same school. Living across the street from each other and being near each other at the school opens up possibilities they never saw coming. One major roadblock is an old nemesis, out to get Nash for herself and cause trouble for Lennox. Loved the characters, their backstories, determination and entertaining situations. Lots of steamy times, including the sexy photos that bring them together again. Totally enjoyed the storyline and especially the ending. Bring on more of Kissing Springs.

I loved Scoring Santa: Book 6 of Welcome to Kissing Springs. Lennox can’t help staring at her hot new neighbor, she didn’t realize it was Nash. Nash was a high school football star who went pro while Lennox became a teacher. Unfortunately she’s still fight off her high school bully and Nash wants to help even though Lennox asked him not to and things have green worse. Worse yet Lennox breaks up with Nash when he doesn’t listen to her feelings. Both have regrets but won’t Christmas around the corner will they be able work out their differences? Such a sweet story and characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

If you read book 5 of the Kissing Springs Santas and wanted to know more about Liza’s friend Lennox Scoring Santa is your chance. This book will follow former math nerd Lennox as she gets reacquainted with her former football star classmate Nash as they meet up again as teacher and coach at their old high school. Find out how their reacquaintance goes along with “help” from a former mean girl and other previous characters we’ve met from earlier Kissing Springs books. If you’re anything like me and love a good athlete and the common girl story, you’ll love this Scoring Santa.
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.
Nash was a retired football player who became coach of his old school. Lennox was a math nerd who became a teacher at her old school. Their love story is a story of romance, bullying, forgiveness, and truth.
Lennox was the nerdy girl in high school. She and her friends were daily targets of the mean girls. They just learned to stay low and try to be invisible. She just aimed for high GPAs and scholarships.
Now she's back at the same high school but as the nerdy math teacher. Wouldn't you know it, mean girl, Vanessa, is also there as a teacher. Surely Vanessa has grown up by now, hasn't she?
Bright spot in Lennox's life is the sexy new guy who's moved in across the street from her. Turns out he's Nash Witter the popular high school football player who made it to the major leagues. He's now returned as the head football coach.
After Vanessa tries to embarass Lennox, Nash against her advice, confronts Vanessa. As she feared, Vanessa retaliated in front of Lennox's students.
Will Nash realize his mistake? Will Lennox try to understand that he was only trying to do what he was taught - to protect?

A sweet Christmas romance. The high school football player turned coach and the math teacher. Can stereotypes bring overcome and adult happiness found?
Book 6 in the Welcome to Kissing Springs multi-author series, Britney Bell's Scoring Santa is a sweet and steamy instalove holiday romance. Ex-pro football player Nash Witten has returned to his hometown after being named head coach at the high school he attended himself. Lennox lives in the house across the street, and is the high school math teacher - a little nerdy and still dealing with the mean girls, especially one who is a fellow teacher at the school. When Nash expresses interest in Lennox, she turns him down at first, not believing the high school jock would want anything to do with her. But Nash is persistent. Will he finally be able to prove to Lennox that he truly wants to be with her? A sweet, fun holiday romance.

This is an such excellent love story. Lennox and Nash are hot together, there are lots of laughs with these two when they finally start getting to know each other. There were a few times I was very angry at a bully that was in this story but I'll let you decide. I enjoyed reading this book immensely, I could not stop once I started it, it was a feel good book most of the way except for the said bully. Absolutely great read, I loved it.

Lennox and Nash are back at their old high school...Lennox to be a teacher due to her smarts and Nash will be coaching as the former star athlete. Lennox was bullied in high school and one of her tormentors is also a teacher at their old high school and she always had a crush on Nash....not much has changed in that department and he's moved across the street from her. Will they be able to reconnect or will the old tormentor get in the way? Great story!.

It may be that I've just been spoiled by the other books in the series, but this one fell way short for me. The author didn't make any where near as much use of the shared world for one thing. It was extremely short, with very little character development, plot or steam. The whole narrative was a little disconnected with somewhat random time jumps and the MCs who knew each other back in high school sort of came across like they were still in high school, instead of the adults they were.
Perhaps if it had been more the length of the other books in the series, there would have been more depth and development, since both Nash and Lennox had potential. As it was it fell flat for me. Standalone in the Kissing Springs series which is written by different authors. I'll stick with the series, but not sure if I will read Bell's next one.

Scoring Santa by Britney Bell is part of the multi-author Welcome to Kissing Springs series, all holiday themed stories. This story pulled at more than a few heartstrings, as it most likely will for anyone who went to high school. I liked the inter-play between Lennox and Nash, as they both had completely different experiences in high school but they both end up back at the same place for different reasons. What they find is that being an adult while walking the halls again comes with its own emotions. Some are the exact some and some are very different ones which start to grow between this couple despite what others try to do. This was a sweet and likeable story and characters. It was a nice read.
Thanks to Booksprout and the ARC team for a copy of this book.
This was incredibly short (like I can't believe how short this was! I finished this book in less than 20 minutes), fast-paced with random time skips, and had a long exposition, description, and fewer dialogues than I was used to reading in this series. The plot was fluffy and light-hearted, and it had even less angst than the other books in the series. The smut also ended very quickly and it didn't feel emotionally fulfilling. The characters' emotions for each other were mostly glossed over and the author did a lot of telling rather than showing. I couldn't fully connect to any of the characters for that reason.
Sweet Holiday Romance Lennox and Nash both went to the same highschool, but traveled in different circles and had very different highschool experiences. Lennox one of the geeky girls was bullied so she tried to hide in the background. While Nash was a football jock. Now they are both back at the highschool. Lennox as a math teacher and Nash as head coach. The two are very much attracted to each other, but someone is determined to keep them apart. This is a fun steamy read with two likeable characters whose romance warms your heart. I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for voluntarily writing an honest review.
Here is another tale of a couple falling in love in Kissing Springs and a hot Santa doing his thing. Lennox is a hometown girl teaching math at the high school she attended as a teen. Nash is a former NFL player who attended the same high school at the same time, now back in Kissing Springs as the head football coach. The two were never in the same circles as teens, but they are drawn to each other as adults. Not everyone favors their interest in each other but they do weather the storm to reach their HEA. Cute light-hearted small town romance.

At high school Lenox was bullied for being the nerd. Lennox was the popular Jock. As an adult Lennox is a math teacher at her old high school when Nash returns to be the school coach. They get to know each other as adults and soon become 'friends'. An old bully raises her nasty head and tries to cause trouble for Lennox as she tries to hook Nash for herself. But a happy ever after is in the cards for Lennox and Nash. This book is a great read and connected smoothly with Salty Santa (book 4). The character and plot were developed well and made reading both enjoyable and easy.

This is a great romance with nerdy Lennox and hunky quarterback Nash from high school. He never noticed her back to school but now he is back from the NFL to coach the local high school team where she works as a math teacher. She never would have thought that Nash would notice her much less want to g out with her but of course Vanessa the "mean girl" from high school has to try and cause trouble but Nash puts his foot down with her.

Pretty basic “small town high school math teacher gets the hot new football coach despite the mean girl antics” story. There’s not much angst and the mean girl pranks are so-so. The book was written in the present tense and in my opinion, that contributed to feeling like the book was too basic or simple, not very sophisticated. Still, if you’re looking for something short with a sweet romance and a few smexy scenes, this one is a good choice.
Lennox is was the nerdy girl that got picked on in high school, she now teaches at the high school she attended. Nash attended the school at the same time, he played for the NFL and is now the head coach of the football team.
He did not know Lennox had a crush on him back then, now he lives across the street from her. The is one wrench in the works, the same girl that made her life awful is also a teacher and is still the same type of person.

Nash was an ex pro footballer starting a new job as head coach at his old high school. Lennox was a maths teacher, she remembered Nash from high school but she was a nerd and he a jock so they weren’t friends. As soon as they saw each other there was a spark, an instant connection but Lennox was nervous to take the next step and believe Nash was interested in her. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, some emotional baggage, a ‘mean girl’ from high school, a wonderful, caring, protective hero and a lovely HEA.

LOVE the sexy, opposites attract romance between Nash & Lennox.
I love how Mr. Popular falls for the dorky math teacher. Both have grown into strong personalities from their life experiences, but they work. Nash's protectiveness & defending Lenny's honor is HOT. So is his stripping Santa dance.
Lenny's strength is total girl power in her self-confidence, even facing old and current bullies. Even the way she puts Nash in line instead of falling at his ex-football famous feet.
Totally rewarding happily ever after for these two. :)
Lennox (h), a high school math teacher with a past filled with insecurities, and former football star turned coach Nash (H) discover that old acquaintances can lead to new love. As they face their shared history and the emotional scars of their past, the Christmas season offers them a chance to heal and hope for a brighter future together. "Scoring Santa" captures the spirit of overcoming adversity through love, with the festive backdrop of the holiday season adding a touch of magic to their romantic tale.
Lennox Moore is 27 and a high school math teacher at Nelson County High who still has memories of her high school days and the petty crap that was said about her. And of course one of the popular girls that gave her a hard time is also a teacher there and still "picks" on her. Nash Witten also went to Nelson County and was of course popular. He was the star jock and went through college winning awards and on to his professional football career and is now the head coach at his old high school. On top of that he's moved across the street from Lennox. Lennox had liked him in high school and that hasn't really changed. Can she get past the mean teacher who has it out for her and does Nash even feel the same way?
A steamy, good girl, jock romance. Lennox was a math nerd in high school. Now, she's a teacher in that same school. Nash was the hero jock there. Now, he's the head coach. Vanessa was a mean girl then, a teacher now, and has her sights set on Nash. Trouble's brewing for Lennox. The ending is mildly satisfying.
Lennox is a beautiful maths teacher who finds herself attracted to her new neighbour, who happens to be the new high school football coach. Nash was a popular kid in school and Lennox was one of the 'nerdy' kids who got bullied for no reason. Soon they find themselves falling for eachother. But can they create a new path together for a happy ever after? Enjoy this passionate and loving small town romance!.

Torrid and simple romance It's a good romance, with a little bullying plotline, but ultimately one that's underdeveloped. It remains a simple romance, hot, but perhaps lacking the spice that the threats could have brought. The character of Nash is good, but I didn't always understand Lennox who is between a liberated character and an introverted and not very courageous woman. I really like how the Kissing Springs stories connect with each other, despite the various authors. Lennox used to be a shy, bullied nerd, now she’s a teacher at that same school. Nash used to be the school football star who went pro, now he’s back to coach. These two are sweet and steamy but we can’t forget an old bully/rival who’s set to cause trouble and upset their HEA.

This is book six of Welcome to Kissing Springs, a multi author series. This is a standalone romance. It is a sweet, lighthearted but steamy romance. Nash is a former NFL player who has come home to coach at his former high school. Lennox is the math teacher at the school. She was always a nerd in school going for the good grades instead of popularity and the subject of bullying. Love the HEA. A good fast read.

Lennox and Nash went to the same high school but never in the same groups. She became a math teacher and taught in her high school. Nash went to the NFL and has now left it to return and become a football coach at his old school. The two meet and have an instant attraction. They are surprised they had never known each other but are happy with the way things are going now. Will this lead to more? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
