Raised By Venom is the first book in the Argentium Vampire Hunter’s trilogy. It is a paranormal romance & it is PHENOMENAL!
I cannot recommend reading Peggy’s books enough.
I love how easy her books are to read. You don’t have to concentrate too hard yet still get the most amazing experience. The story and words just flow off the page into this miraculous and picturesque movie that plays in your head. Her books are an entire experience and I can’t get enough of it.

Y'all, I read this book strictly on the author's personality alone, and let me tell you, it definitely shined all through this book.
I freaking LOVED this book and that's an understatement. From the sparky humor, to the banter and the steamy scenes. I literally could not get enough. I wish I had book 2 already.
This book is so plot driven that I couldn't put it down, I needed to know what happened. And there was always something happening, and I was never bored. This was the first book by this author I've read, and I guarantee, I'll be reading more of her stuff.
If I could give this more than 5 stars, I totally would. Outstanding job!

I finished this book in one sitting! I found myself so engulfed with the story and the character development.
Sage being a vampire slayer and Luka is a vampire! The enemies to lover! Perfect story. The amount of banter and sassy bickering these two had was amazing. I will always love a book that has this bickering and cute nick names. The rebels aspect and the concept of putting this aside to discover greater secrets.
The tension Sage and Luka had was palpable.
The vampirism elements and definitions described in this book was so alluring and loved majority of the sentimental elements. This author managed to make me fall in love multiple times. So many great characters introduced in here. Her friends and his, the creation of Amazing bonds.
The romance in here was extremely hot but also super sweet. Even some side characters for some action in the love.
The way this book ended, my heart is screaming. I want more! I can’t wait to read the next book in this installment

No, really. The buildup between Sage and Luka was beautiful! The friendships forged from enemies? Spot on.
I enjoyed every minute of this read and it was a 10/10 in audiobook format, too! Great job, Paige and PJ!!!

Can I get an adult rewrite? DNFed
I tried I really did only it was like reading two immature 13-year-old's POVs. The curse words (and I love swear words) were just in a way a preteen likes to use them to look cool. A 270-year-old vampire sounding like a child totally immasculated the character. The girl didn't sound "badarse" she sounded vapid and unintelligent.
The story itself - I would still be reading if not for the above - had things going for it. And I almost kept reading but alas the above started to detract points from even the story.
I gave two stars because as I stated the books concept wasn't bad. I figure if someone wrote this with characters that acted their ages and were better developed I would read it. Man I'm almost convincing myself to drip it down to 1 star just thinking about the characters lol!
Good luck because if you prefer more maturity ... you're gonna need it!

Holy smokes. 🔥 I had to force myself to put this book down the night I started it, so that I could get at least a little bit of sleep! The story and plot is fantastic and the spice was perfection! This is the first book I’ve read by P.S. Nail and it definitely won’t be the last!!
I’ve read many vampire romances, and sometimes they blend together with plots, but this one stands out beautifully with the background of VENOM and SAVE.
Vamps are the good guys and I’m *here for it*!!!!

This book was an amazingly descriptive wild ride, it gave me underworld vibes with all the action, humor and spice a reader could want in a book. I am absolutely signing up for all ARCS available for this author. She has a talent that is clear to anyone who reads her work. Her characters are complex, emotional and bad-ass. Her plot didn't miss at all, it hit all the right points. 10/10 I recommend it.

This freaking book!!!!!! Holy crap!! I loved Luka and Sage so much. The side characters make you love them just as much as well. I buddy read this book with 2 of my book besties and I did not want to stop each day because I needed to know what was going to happen next. I am so upset at that ending because now I need book 2 in my hands immediately!! I need to know what will happen with Luka and Sage and everyone else. If you love vampires and vampire hunters definitely check this one out!

Their no words about this book. I was listening on audiobook on this story. The narrator PJ Freebourn and Paige Reisenfield were amazing to listen. This is a vampire story their werewolf as well. From the begging to the end I was totally blown away. Venom as association. That wants to kill vampires . Sage and Luke finds out things are going on between both worlds. Their hot steamy romance, action and drama as well. I recommend this book I give it 5/5

Being on PS Nail's street team is amazing her character building and world building have grown as she has and this book is amazing I haven't been able to pick a favorite character because I really like them all! I love everyone's nickname through the book and how all of her characters grow can't wait for the next book!

This was a Great book. Warning though it is a cliffhanger and book 2 is not out yet. I listen to it on Audible and the narrators were perfect. They did an amazing job and I couldn’t stop listening to it. I even put my headphones in at work so I could continue listening. I was truly bummed when it was over.

Let me just start off by saying that I read Raised by Venom in one day. I read over 50 chapters in one day. Because it just kept dragging you all the way down to the unending pits of rage, horniness, more rage, anxiety, fight or flight, and awe!! You couldn't cut the sexual tension with a sword, that's how thick it is in this book. Mmmm.
I truthfully loved reading this book. I loved the introductions to each character, and the growth of each character throughout the entire book. I loved the alternating views, as that has always been something I’ve enjoyed reading in books. I loved how you follow growth away from a damaging and hateful cult that doesn’t care about its members, and some of those members FINALLY get freedom from the suppression and hate they’re taught. Born Venom, dies Venom. I hate that saying. It’s a saying of oppression. Oppression from the truth, that coexistence of humans and the supernatural is possible. Hate does not and should not rule a person or society’s world. And this book shows that that oppressive, hateful view can be relearned, one day at a time, one new friend and comrade at a time.
Sage is one heck of a modern warrior. Even though she’s been brainwashed, she still questions everything she was taught. For the better. She learns and she grows. She discovers new possibilities she never dreamed of. I adore her sassy growth!! She’s a firecracker, this one!! I love how she doesn’t take crap from anyone, and gives back just as much as she receives. She can take a hit and keep on trekking! Even when the bad gets worse, she doesn’t stop fighting. She will protect herself, the friends she’s made, and the people she loves. Even at the cost of her own life it came to it. Her flame burns brighter than ever!!
Luka. Let’s just say I hate his cocky ass at the beginning. But, I believe that’s what he wanted. That deceptive… hunky… tattooed… strong… relentless… deliciously devilish vampire. His growth was a wonderful thing to see as well. He went from playboy to protective and loving after discovering the beautiful Sage. She played hard to get, but he played even harder… pun intended!!
Aside from the story itself, what I really, truly adored in Raised by Venom was the never-ending sassy, snarky, unrelenting banter throughout the book. It made me smile, because me and my husband share this deep bond, and I was just brought back all the memories of our everyday banter. A good, solid relationship has this, even if it’s only once or twice throughout the years. In Raised by Venom, it’s damn near every turn of the corner, AND I LOVED IT!! The growing (both emotionally and sexually) relationship between Luka and Sage will keep you on the edge of your seat!! So you'd better buckle up, and keep your body parts in the rollercoaster at all times!!!
Now, for the action. Fwew!! It was done right. It was well thought through and executed. As someone with a mixed martial arts background, all the fight scenes played like movies in my mine, and I was sitting on the sidelines eating popcorn and screaming for more!! I loved that it was coming from every angle - hate, bloodlust, sadness, confusion, lust, protection, brainwashing. You never knew when a fist was gonna fly, or an ass was gonna get whooped. The suspense holds you tightly, just like a straight jacket!! *wink wink* HAHA!!!
Raised by Venom also invokes deep emotions, compassion, and desire. You don’t just get fighting and extreme love-making; you get backstories and history. It’s a perfect book for those who love violent, emotional, love-involved, character-growth, supernatural books. I deeply, and highly suggest giving Raised by Venom a read. You won’t be disappointed!!

This really brings the enemies to lovers to another level. I loved the instant animosity of the main characters and the perspectives they have from their life. The details of both sides and how things come together is so fascinating. I listened to this in audio and I loved how the characters came to life through Paige Reisenfeld and PJ Freebourn's voices. What a journey they brought me through.
I am waiting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment as I am so invested in the story now.

Absolute perfection! The banter is fabulous and the spice adds to the book instead of completely overpowering it. I am obsessed. I just need the second book now. Also the narrators did a great job on the audiobook.

This book has it all!! Your heart will love and break. Two enemies ment to hate each other brought together to find the ones trying to unalive each other's people! I love this book! There was so much love and heart break not to mention the spicy sex scenes! 20/10 with this book!!

Lavender and Vanilla. This book is going to put you in all the feels. To start, it is book 1 in a series and, as of right now, the only book out. So there is a HUGE cliffhanger. Well I thought it was 😂
This is a paranormal slow burn romance, with dark themes. I don’t feel it’s proper to call it a full fledge dark romance. Our main female, Sagelynn (Sage for short), was raised in an organization that despises vampires. VENOM hunts them down to unalive them or capture them to take to their research facility. Sage has been trained to become a VENOM member, even though part of her feels like something is missing. It’s not the life she wants for herself, but it the life she has been given. To become a full member of VENOM, each person much unalive a vampire alone. And this is where this book is going to start. Sage is on her first mission. But this night is about to change everything for her.
Luka is a 200 plus year old vampire. He’s got his two best friends. Together they are a part of SAVE, the organization designed to keep vanpires and wolven safe and fight back against VENOM. They don’t unalive unless necessary. One night while atop the rooftop, he watches Sage unalive a vampire. One he has strong connections too. And he determines he has to end her. But when the time comes, he can’t. Something about her intrigues him.
Together, they begin to uncover secrets between both organizations. Winnie, Drag, (Luka’s friends) Lyric and Eric (Sage’s friends) are background characters, but help mold this story so well. They have their own situations going on, which I hope to see more of in the future books. I’d love to watch things play out with a few of those situations. This book had me flipping through the pages so fast.
Just when things seem to be moving forward towards an HEA, however, something big is going to happen. And then the cliffhanger. So be prepared! I would still read it a thousand times. It was worth it. And I can’t wait for book 2! I highly recommend this book. Enjoy.

Let me start off by saying WOW this is an amazing book! A first by this author for me. I was kindly sent this book for review by the author and I loved it!!! If you haven’t you should pick this up! Available on Amazon. Check TW!!!!
Luka- Luka definitely is a new book boyfriend for me. I instantly fell in love with him. Everything about his character is so genuine. He is single and lives alone with his Chihuahua Annie, he is also a vampire. He can’t see sunlight or he gets badly burned. He always hangs out at drifters bar with his friends Winnie and drag. Drag is a wolven tho and Winnie is another vampire. Vampires have to feed off humans but it doesn’t turn them. The feed when they get sexually aroused or off of anger. The author did an amazing job with the back story of this character and some of it is heart breaking. This is definitely the first vampire book I read.
Sage- sagelynn aka sage loves alone with her cat chewy aka Chewbacca (these characters love starwars) and is a part of venom (an organization that studies vamps and tests on them) she goes out on her initiation and has to kill a vampire for it. But she’s being watched. But by who? She’s constantly stalked throughout the book and has to watch her back. But from what? There are a lot of twists and turns in the book. Luka- Luka definitely is a new book boyfriend for me. I instantly fell in love with him. Everything about his character is so genuine. He is single and lives alone with his Chihuahua Annie, he is also a vampire. He can’t see sunlight or he gets badly burned. He always hangs out at drifters bar with his friends Winnie and drag. Drag is a wolven tho and Winnie is another vampire. Vampires have to feed off humans but it doesn’t turn them. The feed when they get sexually aroused or off of anger. The author did an amazing job with the back story of this character and some of it is heart breaking. This is definitely the first vampire book I read.
Sage- sagelynn aka sage loves alone with her cat chewy aka Chewbacca (these characters love starwars) and is a part of venom (an organization that studies vamps and tests on them) she goes out on her initiation and has to kill a vampire for it. But she’s being watched. But by who? She’s constantly stalked throughout the book and has to watch her back. But from what? There are a lot of twists and turns in the book. This book is an absolute MUST if you love vampire stories! Raised by Venom by P. S. Nail

SageLynn is a vampire Hunter. Not just any vampire Hunter. She is the daughter of the president of V.E.N.O.M., so daddy has high expectations for her.
Luka is a, you guessed it, vampire, who is desperate to get his brother back from Venom but also just witnessed his other brother be killed.
I’m sure you can piece together who killed him?
His plans to kill her turn around as they, along with their friends, form an alliance to answer a multitude of questions they can’t get to the bottom of alone.
This book is filled with action, suspense, lots of spice, love, and a whole lot more.

I absolutely loved reading this book!
Sage & Luka are Catherine & Damon but, honestly, better. So much better! The story and character development is amazing. The plot & of course, plot twist, are captivating and total page turners. I couldn’t put this book down. It was such an easy, smooth read I didn’t want to stop. I haven’t stopped thinking about it and trying to play out in my mind all the possible scenarios as to what could happen next.
The cliff hanger is brutal so be prepared!
I laughed, i cried, i flipped out at the end! Lol .
I give this book 5 ⭐️ for plot, characters and the book overall.

This book was so good. Once I actually opened it after downloading I could not put it down. I am talking, you work at 6 and are up until 2 when your husband forces you to put the book down amazing.
I am one of the girls that grew up reading all the paranormal everything, and of course that included the Twilight series. Now that I am an adult I still love the paranormal, vampires, werewolves, etc. This book brought both back into my reading world, only "spicier."
The enemies to lovers was amazing and the ending left me frothing for more. Reading the back-and-forth banter between not only the h and H but with the side characters, who honestly I wouldn't even call side characters because what you learn about them gives you a look into who they are.
What can I say about Sage and Luka... I love that Sage is not the "dumb" main h. She was a badass who questioned everything and did what she needed to do even when she didn't want to. Sorting through her emotions throughout the book is honestly in my opinion how most women of her age sort through their emotions...maybe just me...
Luka, oh Luka the snarky, arrogant, I know I am a sexy vampire, with the goal to find revenge and instead, he finds lavender and vanilla.
I found P.S. Nails on Tik Tok, and I am so happy I did. She is an amazing author and a genuinely amazing person. I can't wait to read the rest of her books, but man book 2 needs to come out soon.

After events that bring sage and Luka together, they start out hating each other and wanting to kill each other, to working together to find out what is going on within their organisation as things are not what they thought, so as they work together, they find themselves falling for eachother, how will their budding love survive, when theyre on opposite sides!

This book was amazing! Vampire books are always the way to my heart but this book went into my SOUL! Peggy Sue (P. S. Nail), is the queen of slow burn (yes we get plenty of spice but that build up!!). The plot is supreme and the twists are plentiful! I love the banter between the FMC and basically every other character and her strong attitude towards everything. My favorite thing the author did is having the multiple POV overlap to provide the reader different perspectives on the scene.
When Sage's job required her to kill a vampire, she did not expect to be stalked by his brother, Luka, or to uncover secrets about the organization she was born and raised into. Sage and Luka work together to save their friends and family, but they both get a little more than they bargained for.

Lavender and vanilla. 💜
I've known P. S. Nail since I was a little kid, and in the last year it has been amazing seeing her writing journey. She's published several books this year, and with each one she's grown a lot. You can tell she definitely loves vampires, and that's something that has been a favorite of hers since before she even started writing (sorry I'm late to actually review!) Despite knowing her a long time, my review is unbiased and everything I'm about to say is true.
I absolutely love this book; enemies to lovers is the way to my heart. Adding vampires into the mix is 🥵🥵
The chemistry between Luka and Sage is palpable, and with every chapter it grows stronger. The world building is phenomenal. The story starts off a bit slow, but it very quickly picks up, and once it does, it is difficult to put down.
This book had me blushing in the break room.

Vampire books are my first love, I will always read them and holy smoking stake this was unlike any other vampire book I have ever read!
This book is like a mix of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Veronica Mars! The slow burn between Sage and Luka was painfully delicious. I have heard some comment on how Luka is to "Soft" to be a Vampire, I respectfully disagree. I think it is refreshing that Luka is attuned to his feelings as that is something that is most often written out of Vampire romances since the vampire has "lost" their humanity. The hurt and Loss on both sides that our mmc and fmc had to overcome just hurts your heart and I love that you can see that vulnerability within him. You can also see the journey of growth that Sage goes through Learning that the only place she has ever known or grown up in is not what it seems.

P.S. Nail has delivered a thrilling enemies to lovers paranormal fantasy, filled with vampires, action, delicious banter, and scorching sexual tension. The dual perspective really brings the two main characters' relationship to life and allowed me to grow fond of her characters. Which only made the cliffhanger ending all the more impactful. I must know what happens next!
At the very beginning it felt slightly hard to get into the story, but by the time I was 25% in I was hooked. The world feels immersive and the details well thought out. There is a good balance of action and calm. The thing that really shines bright are the characters, and their dynamics and interactions. So much banter, so much tension, so much anticipation.
This book made me giggle, it made me tear up, it had me at the edge of my seat, and it saved my sanity during a tough week! Peggy is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors, I can't wait for more.
