People have always taught that Sacagawea is Shoshone, but this book reviews interviews with family and tribal members, as well as government and tribal documents that show Sacagawea was Hidatsa.

Very informative, but also quite repetitive. Worth reading to learn the truth and more about Sacagawea's history.

This book was really interesting and also really specific to the Hidasta and Crow histories. Having just been in their geographic area I found it really fascinating. Beautiful pictures.
