I absolutely love this book! It feels like a hug and comforts you when you feel vulnerable. I love how the author gives a very practical guide to control your emotions, thoughts and feelings. Eventhough there are a lot of takeaways from this book, the lessons are not too into depth that suffocates you, but it is well developed enough to give leave an impact and understanding on you and covers a range of emotions and topics. This book is filled with actionable tools and written in a conversational tone that makes it very relatable, understandable and encouraging!

The main takeaway from this book is to learn embracing what you feel at the moment instead of avoiding it. It is there so do not deny its presence. Embracing our emotions doesn’t mean that we’ll allow it to direct us but rather it becomes a helpful resource or basis to make better decisions or choices in life. This book also make you feel that you are not alone or not to be ashamed of our vulnerabilities. Emotions do not define us and we should embrace them. The book guides you in a concise and empathetic manner and you can target each topic as and when you need. I feel that this book gives me hope that we all have our place in the world and there are good people out there caring and supporting us raising mental health awareness. Highly recommended for everyone!
