This book is beautiful and well-written with sensitivity. The watercolor illustrations match the gentle nature of the text perfectly. While written for children, it gets my heart every time I read it, and I am a grandmother. I share it with my friends of all ages. It reasons gently from the things we see right now, to the things we know are there, whether we see them right now or not.
