Accountants’ must-read book. As accounting department in any companies is considered a cost center, we should continuously try to make the process cost-effective. The book contains some best practices related with accounting practices, from Account Payable to Billing, General Ledger to Financial Reporting, as well as implementation assessment of each best practice in term of time needed and cost. If continuous improvement is your company’s culture, having this book is never a waste.

I love this book. It is one of the better accounting books listing out clear and concise processes for a midsize company to organize its accounting systems from AP, AR, to the General Ledger. I reference this book on many occasions and it never gets old.
