i'm so into reading stories about adult relationships these days because the maturity of the characters and what they're generally go through resonates with my experiences. and honestly, i learn more about the dynamics of relationships here than my almost nonexistent real life experiences (bc i dont interact with men)

Después de haber estado juntos durante 4 años como follamigos, Yano y Shizuki, dos jóvenes que se conocieron en la banda de viento local y que son tan diferentes como lo es un huevo de una castaña, aceptaron sus sentimientos y se declararon el uno al otro. Siendo novios, Yano le propone a Shizuki que se vayan a vivir juntos porque, si no, prácticamente no pueden verse o coincidir por los horarios que cada uno tiene en su trabajo. Yano, queriendo cumplir todos los requisitos de Shizuki para encontrar piso, logra convencerlo y ambos encuentran un nidito de amor adecuado a sus necesidades y, aunque solo llevan 6 meses como novios, dan este paso agigantado dentro de su relación.

Yano no podría estar más feliz ahora que ambos viven juntos porque ahora puede darle los buenos días a su chicho, hacerle el desayuno... Pero Shizuki comienza a sentir que no sabe nada de Yano. Aunque se conocen desde hace casi 5 años, los 4 primeros lo pasaron solamente teniendo sexo en una cama de hotel y, ahora que estan juntos sentimentalmente hablando, en una relación seria de pareja, es cuando se percata que no sabe nada de nada sobre Yano. No sabe nada de su familia, de sus amistades, de su pasado... Solamente que tuvo muchísimas novias, es un desastre en el amor, y que tiene un sobrino. Cuando Shizuki le pregunta por su familia, Yano accede encantado a presentarle a su familia como su novio y, aunque nervioso, Shizuki acepta. En esa visita, las dudas de Shizuki crecerán porque comenzará a entrever que hay facetas de Yano que este le esconde y no quiere que él conozca, así como la tirante relación que tiene con su padre. Las cosas empeoran, así como el sentimiento de frustración de Shizuki, cuando aparece en la banda un nuevo miembro: Iori, el amigo de la infancia de Yano. Si Shizuki es su novio ¿por qué Yano le esconde las cosas importantes de su vida?

Band 2 bleibt spaßig und süß, die Zeichnungen sind einfach klasse.
Wir entfernen uns immermehr von dem Sexfreunde-Thematik, sondern kümmern uns um Beziehungsüberlegungen, zusammenziehen etc.
Es bleibt locker-ernst, die zwischengestreuten einseitigen Kurz"stories" sind einfach süß, es ist generell echt super zu lesen.
Das einzige was mich irkt ist der Vater von Yukiji, der einfahc nur ein dummes Arschloch ist - aber hier sind wir wieder in diesem "Du musst deine Eltern lieben."-BS, wo beide versuchen irgendwie einen Draht zu dem Vater zu kriegen. Versteh ich nicht, soll er sich halt aus seinem Leben verpissen. Aber das ist halt so ein typischer Trope :/ damit kann ich nix anfange, und es hat mich echt aufgeregt, wie beide da krampfhaft versuchen die Wogen zu glätten. Fuck him, ehrlich.

Shizuki y Yano han tomado la decisión de vivir juntos como "roomies" todo parece ir bien hasta que Shizuki comienza a asentirse solo porque Yano no le cuenta mucho sobre él

Me ha gustado mucho más que el primero porque ahora ya existe una relación y encima se van a vivir juntos.
Es que son idiotamente adorables y es una de las parejas más sanas y menos tóxicas que he leído en mi vida.
Tienen sus problemas, lógico, sino no habría historia.
Y me encanta que el Bottom no sea el típico sumiso de la mayoría de estos mangas. Shizuki es enfurruñado y tiene su genio, aunque también es un trozo de pan.
Y Yano 😅, me encanta, pero no sé ni calificarlo. Tampoco es el típico Top porque es súper blandito.
Vamos, que me encanta todo ❤️

Segona oportunitat a aquest BL de sex friends a lovers i continuo pensant que no m'encaixa... no compro ni les il·lustracions (que en alguna pàgina em semblen directament lletges) ni la relació entre els protagonistes que, tot i que va evolucionant, em sembla artificial i poc sincera... Crec que el fet que es "censurin" tant les escenes íntimes rebaixa tant la química com la credibilitat de la parella i costa connectar-hi.

Shizuki and Yano are finally a couple, albeit in secret. When the adorable and goofy Yano uses all the charms in his puppy-dog arsenal to cajole Shizuki into living together, the latter succumbs willingly.
Although the two appear to be cohabiting in harmony, a few glitches pop up in the form of Yano’s troubled equation with his irascible father, and the arrival of Yano’s charismatic childhood best friend, Iori.
As our young couple takes the leap from the flushes of falling in love to sustaining a mature relationship, they will have to make many changes and acceptances in their rigid personalities. And this volume is devoted to their journey of emotional growth.

I adore Shizuki and Yano, and this much-needed leap into building a stronger bond was heartwarming to read.
Aloof Shizuki and sunshiny Yano in domestic bliss is pure mush, but seeing them trying to understand each other without resorting to long drawn-out misunderstandings, simmering resentments, and bitter cold-fronts feels like a step in the right direction for the familiar format of BL mangas.
Also, 10 Points to Gryffindor and Iori for being such a stellar best friend.
