This review was tough for me. I love Jenny Fox's work. I loved His Blue Moon Princess (even pre-ordered a copy) and both Lady Damphir and The War God's Favorite are on the way to being an easy 5 stars for me. This one... it's 3 stars.

Overall, I liked Nate in HBMP. I don't know what happened in this book but getting to see his thoughts really changed my view if him. I just don't like him anymore. I am almost afraid to read His Blazing Witch because next to Damien, Liam is my next favourite male character and I am afraid it would be ruined for me. All I saw in him was a selfish man who was resentful of anyone who inconvenienced him... even his brother who had sacrificed so much for him. I thought he had a sweet brotherly type relationship with Nora in the first book. In this one, I felt he appeared cold. It ruined him for me.

Elena was just not as likeable to me as Nora. I don't think she handles problems well and for somebody so strong she runs away a lot. I felt like there was such a desire to make her powerful which took away from her character for me. I liked how Nora used her wits and grew in strength. I liked Nora's leadership more and did not feel the way the Luna leadership plays out here was acceptable... clearly from this review I am team Nora and Damien, with Boyan and Daniel and Liam and Sylviana in close second.

This is just a personal preference but the little pet names at the end of this book that are supposed to be affectionate were overused for me... made me skip forward a bit when it got started.

I loved hearing about how the war played out. There was so many elements in this book I enjoyed. There was just pieces I thought could have been edited out, adjusted etc. There are some sentence structuring that needs reworking and she really needs a better editor who will pick up on the difference between enthusiast, enthusiastic and enthusiastically in her work but, to be fair, if I was trying to write in French I would likely have issues with verb conjugation. I have tried writing in another language... it's not easy.

She really is one of my favourite authors. Jenny Fox is an excellent storyteller.

The first half filled in sooooo many holes from the first book and it made me cry so much! I just wanted to throat punch Nate for his behavior. Loved it even with its ending and can not wait for Liam's book and the final installment in the series. JENNY FOX HOOKED ME IN FROM THE START AND I NEED REHAB FROM MY ADDICTION PROBLEM NOW!!

Great sequel to His Bluemoon Princes, I expected this book would be worse, most sequels are. But this was great, it gave a view of the world of silvercity before the events of HBMP, a different perspective during from other main characters and all their intrigues that were not explored during HBMP and the conclusion of the open ending and questions left from HBMP. The only reason it does get more stars is that I had to read it from dreame, which I do not enjoy as a platform an you have to pay for chapters to unlock. A small critique is that the main character is sometimes super stubborn, however this is also point made in the book and the butt of the joke of friends, making it less annoying and make her a more rounded character, since she has a flaw.

This book was good but not as good as the 1st. I loved the completion of Selena and Nates love story and the conclusion of this war. My goodness I hated Nate for most of this book but he’s was so awesome and loving when he finally meets his daughter I could almost forgive him but I’m so glad Selena makes him grovel a bit before giving in. I love the characters again Liam & BoBo topping my list ❤️ but Estelle was so adorably cute & my favorite 😍

This book thankfully filled in so many gaps & answered so many questions but again just like HBMP there’s just to much unnecessary “filler information” where I feel the author just babbles on and on it’s so ridiculous to me 🤷🏽‍♀️ and that’s the reason I only gave this book 3stars.

🧡 This is the second book in this trilogy. This is not a standalone and needs to be read in order for you to understand the books. The book does not start off where the second book ends. This story is intertwined with the first book and eventually will catch up to where the second book left off.

This book has more spice/romance than the first book but is still low on the spice scale. The plot continues to be heavy and the authors creativity shines.

The author could make some improvements to the books by making the books Dual POVs and specifying which POV the story is being told from. This story is mostly told from Elena’s POV, but does not list it specifically. We do get more POVs from Nate than we did from Damian (from book one) but it can be a little confusing as it switches and doesn’t tell you specifically.

Loved the characters, plot and creativity!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love the books of Jenny and I loved His Bluemoon princess. With the first book of the series I was fully committed to the story from page 1, But it took me a while to get in to this second book of Silver City. For me, it was a bit boring in ‘the beginning’. Around page 230 it got interesting in my eyes. The first 230 pages took me a few weeks, while the rest of the 602 page I read in less then a week! Because of this I still give 4 stars. The end also made me curious for the next book, wich I will read now.

Original version is so much better!

This version is missing A LOT of Nate's perspective. I originally read this book on the Dream app and it had both the male and female views instead of almost all the female. This version is lacking so much compared to the original. I actually want the original version or my money back rather than keep this version. So disappointed.

I love this book I want to buy it so that I can read it every night.

I wish I could find it under amazon but it don't show up under it.

Instead I am saving coins under another app to read it and the more I read it the more I want this book.

Thanks for writing this book Jenny Fox

Elena is a little too self reliant. As she takes her daughter and lives in isolation away from the ML for years. Which is soo heartbreaking!!

HEA even though theres is some heartbreak..and lost limbs!

Good book, would have given 5/5 if not for the significant amount of spelling errors.
