Kevin Provance was born in Carroll County, Maryland, and grew up surrounded by back roads, ghost stories, and quiet fields that would later become the settings of his fiction.

A lifelong technologist and storyteller, Kevin has worked as a technician, consultant, and WordPress developer, specializing in plugin design and code security. But when the screen goes dark, he builds other worlds — places where time folds, truth bends, and redemption always comes at a cost.

He is the author of the interconnected Displaced saga and the Ryan Thomas thrillers (Scarecrow and Scorpion), as well as the haunting standalone novel Prisoner of the Game. Each work unfolds within a shared universe that blurs the line between science fiction, mystery, and human frailty.

Kevin’s stories are known for their cinematic pacing, emotional depth, and a touch of darkness that lingers long after the final page.

When he’s not writing, he’s behind a camera, producing or photographing life under the banners of Furious Conundrum Productions and SVL Studios.

He lives in Summerville, South Carolina.

Chapters One and Two were full of fire. I expected a bit more from the third chapter--that the longing would be satisfied. The writing to describe the interaction of the main characters was very rich but in the last chapter, it wasn't fully sustained.
