Did I perform a lap dance for my best friend's brother after a late night of partying?
Well, if sitting on his lap, singing out-of-tune pop songs, and then falling asleep on him counts, then yes.

Did I wake up in his bed with only his t-shirt on and spy on him getting dressed?
Who's asking?

Did I pretend to be interested in finance and becoming his new assistant just to make a move?
Of course not...I absolutely love all things about 3D's, I mean VD's...or is it CD's?

Foster Sloane is my best friend's brother. He's everything you want in a daydream fantasy. Golden brown eyes that seem to glow when they watch you. A teasing tantalizing smile that makes my heart beat faster than the timer on a stopwatch. And dark brown hair that just begs for my fingers to comb through it. If it wasn't obvious, I've had a crush on him since I was twelve. And now I'm twenty-two and I'm ready to make a move.

Only Foster Sloane is not looking for love. He's the sort of man that puts career above everything else. He wants to be a millionaire before he's thirty. He wants to learn to fly. And he only dates models and actresses. He's not interested in not so little me, with my size twelve jeans and larger than life personality. I've always known that he only sees me as his sister's best friend, hot mess Alice, but I'm starting to wonder if he's starting to see me as more.

You see there was this one text message, that lead to a phone call, which lead to me getting drunk and proceeding to give him the not-so-sexy lap dance. I'm not sure exactly where I'm headed, but as long as it brings me closer to him, I'm going for it.

The True Love Club Series had a great beginning and now I enjoyed Foster and Alice in this second book in the series. It's a great addition to the series. Foster is Alice's best friend's older brother and her life long crush. He's always ignored her out of respect for his sister and because she is so much younger than him. Things change when she moves to the city and lives with him while looking for a job. Their chemistry is explosive and living in close quarters is challenging. Their banter is hilarious at times. JS Cooper is a masterful writer and always has a special way with words. Her books grab your attention right at the beginning and are hard to put down. This book is no exception. Can't wait for Molly and Travis in the next book. I read an advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

This is another addictive page turner in The True Love Club book 2 series!
It’s Alice and Foster’s story, he is her best friends older brother. Alice finds herself living with Foster her childhood crush. He lives in the city and has a bedroom available. Foster also has had a crush on Alice! While living together their attraction is palpable and their banter and angst. I fell in love with them and their relationship. Great main characters, flowing storyline, well written love scenes. JS Cooper always writes 5 Stars romance with beautiful endings.
I definitely recommend this book for every romance lover.

I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review.
The first book, in this series, was the love story of Oliver and Rosalie, but this time the story is about the love between Foster and Alice. Both books were well written, had great characters, with a moving story, and written by the talented J. S. Cooper.
Foster is the brother of Rosalie, and works in finance traveling all over the world. He is single, wealthy, and refuses to commit to any long lasting relationships. Foster and Alice have known each other for many years, and have both experienced an incident that has split their friendship.
Alice is Rosalie’s best friend, and she decides to come to New York, to find a job. Meanwhile, she is living with Foster while she job hunts. She still has feelings for Foster, but has to hide these feelings.
There is an attraction between the two, but Alice knows that Foster is a playboy, and not willing to settle down. Their living situation just gets harder to resist each other. Alice attempts dating apps without success, while Foster is angry about that. Foster’s boss tells him to invite his friends to a charity ball, and things get heated between Foster and Alice.
After the ball, their relationship changes, but problems, from Foster’s father has him stressed. He is offered a job in Brazil, but he refuses it , so he can stay near Alice. After an ugly incident, at the apartment, they finally confess their feelings for each other, and the couple finally obtain their HEA.

This is book two in The True Love Club Series and it is Foster and Alice's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Alice has had feelings for Foster for year's but all he sees her as is his sister's best friend but now she is staying in his apartment while looking for a job while trying not to jump his bones. Foster doesn't do relationships or commitments as his job takes takes up most of his time as he not only travels a lot but also wants to further his career. The more time that Foster and Alice spend together the stronger and more intense there feeling that they both tried to keep under control comes back to the surface making them both realise that they only want each other and he together but they both have there guard up and need to be able to talk, be vulnerable and also be true to how they really feel but also Foster has a lot of family issue's that he is dealing with making his life even more complicated. I absolutely loved Foster and Alice's story and even with all there past and ups and downs, banter and bickering they were still so perfect for each other and both deserve a happy ending. This book takes you on a roller coaster ride and I couldn't put it down as it had great characters and a storyline that pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention throughout and I can't wait to read Travis and Molly's story next. I definitely recommend you read this book and other's by J. S. Cooper who is an amazing author and writer and her book's are definitely worth reading.

This book wasn’t my favorite, but was still a good read. The pacing in this book seemed a little off which threw me off. Overall good characters and a good addition to the series.

Good

Solid 4 out of 5 🌟

Better than the first. I mean I liked the first but there wasn’t much to it. This one has more push and pull, but holy moly the errors! Half the time it said Rosalie (the sisters name) instead of Alice. And some of the conversations had you believe Rosalie was talking but turned out it was Alice based on the next line. And don’t get me started on the terrible back and forth conversations with these girls. It’s not even laughable, just makes me cringe as a reader and say get on with it. BUT I liked the story and I am super excited about Travis and Molly’s book next because that is going to have so much angst! I’m ready.

This book had no cheating and a HEA with both POV.

I will add Foster came down a peg in my book when he told a f**k buddy about Alice and then actually slept with her. Then had the gall to say he had always loved her.

This book is a mess - read on KU

Wow. I forced myself through 80% of this, skimming in places. I just couldn't make myself finish it. Ms. Cooper must be awesome at marketing.

I'm not sure I liked anything about this book. Foster and Oliver were OK. That's probably the only nice thing I can say. I didn't read book 1 because it isn't available on KU. I'm glad I didn't since it has a worse rating than this one.

Alice, the FMC, and her best friend Rosalie are vapid, materialistic, immature, uninteresting women. Rosalie seems to see Oliver, her fiancé, as a checkbook. She's planning a destination wedding with no worries about the cost to her parents or Oliver.

Speaking of money, this author doesn't seem to have a grasp on how much jobs pay or much about finances. There was a charity gala where each ticket was $10K. Foster's boss bought out a whole table of 10. I don't know how many tables there would have been, but it would have to be at least 5? The boss claims they are set to profit $150K just from tickets. They need to toss an event if the overhead is 70% or more of the income. ($500K for 5 tables minimum with a profit of $150K is only a 30% profit.) Those weren't the only times money didn't make sense.

The worst part of the book, the thing that made it unbearable, was how forced, stilted, unnatural the dialog was. It reminded me of being a child and playing pretend and making up things I thought adults would say. And I thought I might scream if one of the three women started or ended another sentence with "girl." I'll try to share a screen shot that shows 3 or 4 sentences out of 10 or less on one page starting with that word. "Girl" was used 103 times in the book. A quick perusal of the search made it look like 75% were used in sentences like "girl, I saw what you just did."

The steamy scenes were OK. The slow burn was obnoxious. It didn't build sexual tension. It was just a repetition of the same or similar thoughts from the MCs.

I don't think this author researched anything. Maybe some buzz words for a finance job? Alice is talking about she would date someone 50 years old if George Clooney were available. I'm paraphrasing, but the point is George Clooney was 61 when this book was released. (Unless it was a re-release.) She talks about Vin Diesel and Brad Pitt being in their 40s. They're in their mid to late 50s.

The whole book needed a thorough edit. Lots of typos and grammatical errors.

I have been trying to be less critical in reviews but there is just nothing redeeming here. And the reviews to date are surprisingly upbeat, for the most part.

I read about a book a day, so I have read a lot of material to compare this to. My recommendation is to stay away from this one. I certainly will not read more by this author.

I received an Advance Review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Alice Pascal and Foster Sloane were once childhood confidants. Long talks in the dark turned into a childhood crush that wouldn’t quit. Alice declared her feelings to Foster but was rejected. Under the presumption that Foster never held the same feelings, Alice moved forward with her life. What was left of their friendship became that of being her best-friend’s brother until she decided to make the move to NYC and became Foster’s new roommate.

Foster Sloane is the protector of his family. He decided long ago to put his career first. He decided he’d never marry, never have the white picket fence or have children. He doesn’t want any emotional attachments. Or so he thinks.

When Alice moves in, everything he has thought he wanted is called into question. He considers Alice’s feelings or thoughts before making decisions and his jealousy runs rampant when she begins to date. Foster’s long buried feelings for Alice grow stronger day-by-day. After a drunken lap dance, he throws caution to the wind.

This story flowed perfectly. Alice is Fosters’ match in every way that counts. She is and always has been his confidant; their chemistry is explosive; they talk and trust each other completely. Plus, she has always been the most beautiful woman in the room to him. Whenever he thinks of committing to anyone, it is always Alice he thinks of first.

As with any best friend’s brother romance genre there is nearly always a jealous ex or issues/s that will arise. Whilst this book does follow that plot to a degree, I became so caught up in their relationship I hadn’t realized I was on the final chapter! What happened to the epilogue? There is none!

Faults: There were a few errors which will most likely be picked up on the final edit. i.e. Rosalie’s name was noted instead of Alice.

My irks:
* The Amelia situation was never fully addressed. I was waiting for Foster or Alice to set Amelia straight!
*Foster’s reputation as a player ceased once Alice became his room-mate but it was constantly implied by his sister that he was still being one. I was hoping Alice or Foster would address it.
*I like to be spoiled with an epilogue and a bonus one as well!

Alice Pascal goes to New York City to stay with her best friend Rosalie, who was also staying with her older brother and his best friend, Oliver. Rosalie and Oliver fell hard for each other and have moved out of the apartment, leaving Alice alone supposedly with Foster. Unfortunately, Foster has been out of the country but still keeps in contact with Alice via email. There, is one secret that Alices hides, that she is deeply in with love Foster. Alice doesn’t ever plan on telling him the truth. For now, she’ll continue to live with Foster, with him never being the wiser. When Foster gets home, he is happy to see Alice. Foster also likes Alice more than he should and the attraction they both feel for each is about to blaze out of control. Until Foster gets hit with old ex-s who keep coming out of the woodwork and a family dilemma that could very well take Foster away from Alice.
This is the second book in the true love club which is a nice hot simmering quick read, that will definitely get you all hot and bothered! Ms. J.S. Cooper brings her sizzling contemporary friend to lover’s romance with lots of steamy sexual tension and interludes quite well. It isn’t really necessary to read the books in order but it sure doesn’t hurt to understand the relationship or what is going on. So yes, the book can stand alone without any true problem. The writing isn’t really difficult nor are the characters truly complex. Foster, the handsome playboy is a bit annoying especially when so many other women vie for his attention and there is some history there but never really delved into. Foster even though wants to be with Alice still remains a player and it’s hard to totally trust his “love” for her either. Alice, the fun-loving heroine seems like a blast even when she is flirting with Foster and he doesn’t know what to do. Even with some unsavory aspects I’ll still keep the book around because it’s an enjoyable read and yes, I want to read the next in the series too!

In the previous book, Rosalie and Alice moved to the big city to live with Rosalie's brother Foster and his roommate Oliver. Rosalie and Oliver got together and now it's just Foster and Alice in the apartment. Which is a bit awkward because Alice has always had a crush on him and when they were younger Foster rejected her advances. But now Foster is extremely generous and kind of flirty. Technically they're adults but the characters all come across as very young, nice young people but rather giggly and immature.

I got a little hung up on the wrong things I think. More than the romance, I was endlessly fascinated by their finances. Rosalie and Alice were completely broke when they moved in but apparently Oliver and Foster are made of money and have no problem paying for everything. But Alice gets a couple of insane job offers from Foster's company, to get into an entry level apprenticeship program that pays 100K (she'd be training alongside people with prestigious business degrees although all she knows about finance she learned from Reddit yesterday) or Foster's personal assistant for 150K a year so she'll be all right. But Foster's dad has money troubles that only heand Foster know about; for some reason they're keeping the truth about the family finances a secret from the women of the family, Rosalie and her mother who are happy spending money that daddy doesn't have. This is a really interesting dynamic and something Alice should take note of before she signs a mortgage with Foster.

Content: Alice had narrowly escaped a sexual assault in her past.

This is part of The True Love Club each book can be read as a standalone connecting through friends, a sexy guy who claims love isn’t meant for him, and the women who changes his mind. Alice is so cute, a little thicker than the girls around her, loves her best friend, and has crushed on her best friend’s brother since before high school but that crush never went away like most crushes do hers just grew as she got older. Foster sexy as all get out older brother, with his mind set on advancing his career, not looking or wanting love just one night stands without attachments but the one girl that can get him to change his mind is his all time crush Alice his sister’s best friend which he knows is forbidden…..until it wasn’t 😊. Alice moved to NY staying with him until she can get her own place both assuming they can keep what they are feeling to themselves but years of crushing on each other has surfaced it is intense, and the magnetic pull between them can’t be ignored growing stronger every day they spend living together but will he finally tell her how he feels about her, will he accept how she feels has felt about him most of her life, can they make it work between them, and can the find their own happiness after so many years of pent up feelings?

Finally Acknowledging What Every Knew -
Alice had been crushing on Foster since high school, but kept it to herself after he rebuffed her advances years ago. Foster’s life was based solely on his work and flings, as he didn’t do relationships, however, he had always had a crush on Alice. Unfortunately, living in the same apartment and spending time together, made it difficult for them to maintain their willpower. The intervention of friends and family into their continuous ‘will they, won’t they’ relationship, finally helped them acknowledge what they actually wanted.

Wow! This was an absolutely fantastic story to read, that had me hooked right from the beginning. I thought book one of ‘The True Love Club Series’ was great, but I didn’t expect J. S. Cooper could really exceed my expectations, but holy smokes, she just blew my mind. I suggest you prepare to experience one heck of a rollercoaster ride, after you make the great decision to indulge yourself in this awesome book. After reading the teaser for ‘Mr. Not Quite Perfect’, I am really looking forward to it.

I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Alice is the best friend of Foster's sister Rosalie, and the two of them are very close It's obvious that Alice and Foster have sexual chemistry and strong feelings for each other that they're trying to ignore. It's also clear that those feelings are not new. But, due to some experience in the past between them that isn't explained for a good deal of the book, they are both holding back from acting on those feelings. Rosalie, Oliver (now Foster's best friend and now Rosalie's fiance), Alice and Foster were all briefly roommates, but Rosalie and Oliver got their own place after they got engaged. So only Alice and Foster are sharing the apartment after he returns from a month-long business trip. Alice and Foster tiptoe around each other and find themselves in some awkward situations because they're trying to ignore the elephant in the room. But their feelings and sexual chemistry make it impossible to stay away from each other indefinitely. It makes for a very satisfying romance when they finally work through the seemingly unrequited love of Alice and playboy image of the past of Foster to truly open up to each other. I highly recommend this book. I enjoyed it more than the first book of the series.

Alice has had a secret crush on her best friend's brother, Foster, for ten years.
Now she has been invited by the best friend to temporary share an apartment with Rosalie, her heart throb brother, and his best friend. Alice readily accepts the invitation and makes the move to New York.
Sparks fly the moment Alice moves into the apartment. Trouble is Foster is a very single bachelor and quite enjoys the life style. He is very successful in the world of finance and travels the world. Does Foster have time for Alice, who is searching through dating apps while looking for a job?
This is such an enjoyable story and the reader really hopes the characters find their happy ever after as a couple.
Thank you to the super talented writer, JS Cooper who provided me with an advanced reader copy. These opinions are honest and my own.

boom 2 was pretty good

This was book 2 in the series. I would recommend reading the books in order since the characters over lap are are family related. You will easily relate to the characters and events happening.
Overview: Alice and Foster are still living together since Oliver (Forest’s BFF) and Rosalie (Forest’s sister and Alice’s BFF) moved out and are engaged. Forest was all over Europe for business. He was emailing and texting Alice several times a day. But when Forest gets home, he realizes he wants more. But will Alice ever see him as more than the guy who saved her once and more than her best friends brother? Alice has always been in love with Forest for years. He saved her at a college party and now he wants to help her with her life. But will he ever see her as a girl in love with him or just his sisters annoying best friend.

This is book 2 in the the true love club series. Its between Alice and Foster. Although you do still hear about Oliver and Rosalie from book 1. Alice and Foster have always had a special relationship with each other. They have know each other for years as Alice and Rosalie are best friends. It was an exciting part in this book. A slow build. I couldn't put it down as I needed to know if they got their HEA. I feel it was a bit rushed towards the end. But a great 2nd book. I still feel that Rosalie and Alice act so childish sometimes. The chemistry between Alice and Foster is lovely and sweet. I wonder what happened to Fosters 2nd gift he got for Alice. I know he put them in the bin but did he actually give them to Alice. Looking forward to reading Molly and Travis' book now.
Thanks Jaimie

The second book in The True Love Club series.I found it an easy read. It is Foster Sloane’s chance to find true love even though he declares himself a lifetime bachelor. I like him and his drive to succeed in the business world and his devotion to his family most of all. Though, no relationship has begun between Foster and Alice in the beginning I found their playful text to be very entertaining. However, what I especially liked was when Foster’s sister Rosalie and Alice Pascal, her best friend got together for drinks and chats. I could always expect a good laugh there. They are always so silly. Travis and Molly’s story is next “Mr. Not Quite Perfect.”

This is book Two in the true love series. Alice is Rosalies bff from book one and Foster is Rosalies older brother. Alice has had a crush on Foster for years but she always saw him as a player and unobtainable . Foster is a sort of happy go lucky sort of guy, never wanting to settle down as work took him all over the world. They have been in each other’s lives for years but eventually whilst sharing a home together their dynamics change. A beautiful told love story with its ups and downs, some misunderstandings, some jealousy, some need to bang your heads together moment and some heat too. I really, really enjoyed this book, they had their rightful ending and it’s a nice segway to Travis’s and Molly’s story. I received this arc via BookFunnel for an honest review.

Once again JS Cooper delivers a well written book that makes you fall in love with the characters. I loved April and Fosters story. April had a major crush on Foster since high school but April and Rosalie (Foster’s sister) we’re best friends. There was a line that they should not cross.
As adults Alice and Rosalie move to NY to live with Foster and a Oliver. (Another must read is Rosalie and Oliver’s story). The chemistry between the Alice and Foster was intense. They both had loved each other for years and finally put their feelings in action.
JS Cooper never disappoints. Another great read!!!

<3<3<3 loved it!

This is the 2nd book in the series with Foster and Alice that were introduced in the first book. Alice is staying at Foster’s apartment while he is away on business. Foster and Alice share flirty emails and things get spicier when Foster comes back home.

Foster and Alice have a history that Alice has kept a secret, but they talk through their past and then give in to their attraction… things have a chance for an HEA but only if Foster can find his way through his family’s problem and his fight against his feelings.

I loved Foster and Alice’s story. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. 😊

The second book in the True Love Club series gives us Foster and Alice’s story. Foster is Rosalie’s brother and Alice is her best friend. While Foster is traveling for work, Alice is staying at Foster’s apartment. They have a history that they kept a secret from Rosalie, but as they exchange flirty emails while he is away, their attraction heats up when Foster is finally home. Will they be able to get their HEA or will their secret and his family problems detour their forever? One click to find out In this newest addition that doesn’t disappoint. I enjoyed how Foster and Alice’s story played out and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Never Falling is book two in this series and it will leave your heart melting. Alice and Foster's story is so beautiful and just makes you want to be in their lives. Alice moved into Foster's home after their friends get engaged and moved out. Alice is struggling to find a job and her place in New York. Foster is away for a month and she's trying her best. However, when he comes back these two will have to act like their feelings don't matter. They have a past that they both ignore, but what happens when their attraction can no longer stay hidden? These two will have a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Can they make a go of it before it's too late?

Alice has had feelings for Foster for a long time now. However, after he rejected her in high school she has tried to move on. Foster has feelings for her as well but pushes them back because he doesn't do relationships. When she becomes his roommate this sparks trouble between them because its hard to keep from acting on what they want. Will outside people interfere with their blooming relationship? Can they finally move out of the friendzone?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

What do a best friend’s brother, a long-time crush, and a lap dance have in common? Foster Sloane!🫶

I LOVED Never Falling, the second book in The True Love Book Club. It's a fast-paced, ‘feel-good’ love story!!! The sassy, sarcastic banter was witty and hilarious!❣️

Foster and Alice will take you on a journey that will leave you breathless, a little frustrated, and excited; but will also leave you happy and swooning. The chemistry between these two was undeniable and their passion was off-the-charts once it was finally ignited!❤️‍🔥 A Happily-Ever-After is guaranteed!!!

“Why do I feel like we’re crossing a line we shouldn’t?”

In book two we get Foster and Alice who finally, finally, finally admit their feelings for each other! I really liked both of them in the last book and I was very happy they were going to get their love story. I thought they were a great couple, clearly they had fantastic chemistry and they’ve cared about each other pretty much forever. This is one of the best books by Jaimie I’ve read in awhile. Don’t worry if you didn’t read book one, this is very much a book you can read as a stand alone.

Fun best friends brother romance.
Standalone with no Cliffhangers.
Alice moved to New York to be with her best friend Rosalie, now she is living with Rosalie's brother Foster. The man she has always wanted. The man that rejected her years ago.
Foster has always felt responsible for the people he loves, he doesn't want to add anyone to that list. He likes the no strings approach to relationships. Then Alice came back into his life.
The flirting is strong. The family drama is real. The Heat is intense. They really need to work on their communication.
I love how it all came together.
