Pick up a penny, tails, you will have bad luck, heads, you will lose it all. Of course, my coin landed on its side, reaping me both fates.
It is said that three old women control fate by spinning the thread of destiny. Their names should’ve been Cold, Cruel, and Conniving.

It is only fitting that the twins who held me captive are now my only lifeline.
Could they find me? Would they keep me?

We start off right when book 1 ends!! Check trigger warnings because it gets dark and I gotta give it up to Allie this was a amazing duet!!!

Connor and Liam are at the hospital trying to save Connors life since he tried to kill himself. This makes Liam believe Emily/Penny escaped and didn't care for them and wanting alittle revenge when he finds her but first he needs to care for his brother. As that happens Emily is taken and tossed in a cell with other woman who are going to be trafficked. She tries to keep her head down but she does try to stick up for someone and well.we'll.. let's say she gets raped by the guys uncle(yes it's on paper so be warned.) But Emily does try to keep a brave face since she has a plan to escape.

We get some very angst moments right here from all sides until they are reunited we do get some REUNION SMEXXX!!! and more group activities ;) also some Scenes with Liam and Emily and them bonding in a very public place muahah.

We also see all three stand up for there freedom from the dad and others who are trying to take away there HEA.
I do have maybe like 2 unanswered questions. But those are side charas xo.

I’m still loving these twins, and now it’s a ménage with the return of Emily and tighter ties between the guys. While the first book drew me better, this one was just as emotional, more spicy within mafia stage and street setting. I enjoyed the character growth and forging of their relationship -- the two brothers and Emily. No contrived push and pull. And as a trouple, I loved the ease of their relationship. And yeah, the spice was spicy!

Great characters. Emily portrayed a beautiful strength of character with realistic response to trials of life. You can't save everyone, every time. Connor and Liam overcoming their insecurities; the former, overcoming his destructive and lethal vices and the latter, facing his need for control, structure, and having to please a father who was dysfunctional to them and power-hungry.

I will contend the early resolution in the story -- and I liked that element -- made the denouement after the reunion predictable, and so I settled in for a pleasant read without some of the twist or angst I could have encountered. Overall, great story.

Alpha read this one! Y’all aren’t ready for this 🫠 the action felt like Madison Kate series and the smut felt like sugar daddies… the two had a baby and out came penniless. So fücking good! Twin/MMF 🔥

Potential spoiler ahead the further you read, just sayin’!

MMF twins… say less. I was sold. Book 1 was great but this one?! Babyyy the spice is out of this world. I always love a good twin sandwich and Allie, girl, you did not disappoint! That was EVERYTHING. And the scene at the studio?! People, run and read these books. I love the development of the characters and watching them grow. One finds a reason to change, one finds the strength to overcome, and one finds a reason to be happy. So good. That ending tugged on my heart strings and was a fantastic way to wrap it up.

5⭐️4🌶5🔥4⚠️4⛈ Did someone order a sexy twin sandwich? Yes, please! So hot! Allie Stern finished this duet off with a well written sexy sequence of events that led to a satisfying ending. I found the contrast between the brutality of these books and the tender moments to be an interesting oxymoron that kept me guessing and engaged. The characters and their circumstances were interesting to me, and, although, I’m positive that these morally black anti-hero’s would not be redeemable in real life, Allie did a great job using clever character development to lead her audience into rooting for their redemption and happy ending.

***** SPOILER ALLERT*****

GOOD ✅
✅ Two words: TWIN SANDWICH.
✅I thought this book had a good balance between plot/action and romance/smut.
✅The smut scenes were delicious. I particularly liked the porn set scene- it was creative and hot!
✅I really liked that the FMC accepted the twins for who they are and didn’t try to fix them. It’s illustrated the power of giving someone the space to be who they are and work their own shit out. Too often , when the characters in romance novels identify flaws in each other, they immediately try to help the other overcome it; therefore, I found it refreshing to just have the characters accept each other, flaws and all.

BAD❌
❌I didn’t like the lack of urgency the characters seemed to have when it came to exchanging important life or death information. Examples: she returns to the twins to warn them about who is coming after them and trying to seek revenge, but then has sex with them and goes to sleep. The MMC ‘s also know something serious happened to her, but didn’t make it priority to find out. Another example was when she was locked in a closet and over heard an important conversation, but didn’t bother t repeat it right away.
❌ She had just spent numerous days without bathing and being held captive in her own filth and then she returns to them and the first thing they do before she even showers is have sex. Ewww! It is possible that the shower part was just left out.
❌I would have loved to see the twins father taken down. I was not happy that they walked alway and left the sex trafficking ring to continue operating.

This book contained staple attributes that I look for in a dark romance- dangerous men, brutality, depravity, captivity, enemies-to-lovers and graphic well written smut! Overall, I enjoyed this duet and highly recommend it to anyone who likes dark smutty romance and an occasional twin ménage

I tried, I really tried to finish this book but couldn’t. I dnf at 45%. This doesn’t even feel like the same book. I read the reviews and I guess I’m in the minority bc everything else is 4-5 stars nothing below that. I absolutely loved book 1. This book feels like a completely different story. Suddenly Emily is a blood lust murdering avenger. Nothing made sense in this book. I did like Liam and Connor becoming closer after connors suicide attempt which was a call for help. However suddenly now Connor Is fine sharing her? Suddenly they are in love and she is the love of their life? Suddenly they are her avenging angels? Makes no sense. Did Connor not literally kidnap and sa her? I honestly am confused how the uncle is the bad guy when literally this is what Connor and Liam do and his dad. Why was the basement such a horrific ordeal. Isn’t that literally what their dad did to Candace? I thought that’s what they did to train girls. Nothing makes any sense. Emily literally sacrificed herself being beaten and violated which doesn’t really ever come back. Didn’t she get punched and her eyes gouged but the guys don’t see a mark on her 2 days later? She is selfish. She escaped with the other young girl then ditches the girl when they get caught stealing saying she has to pull her own weight. You told those girls you were coming back but left them down there. Got a hotel and stayed there for 2 days meet up with the brothers don’t tell them what happened, sleep with them, sleep get comfy then tell them? Like atleast 3-4 days have passed. Of course everyone is missing.

No one’s story make any sense, and her suddenly becoming a psychopath and them loving that was the final nail in the coffin. Didn’t Connor just have a massive heart attack? Umm yeah you’re not gonna be just out and about no matter how “strong” you are. SMH arrrgggjhh I’m so upset bc this has such potential but clearly the writer didn’t really know how to end the story so we get all of this over the top foolishness

Life is too short trying to finish a story you hate. That’s my new motto. I won’t rate bc I didn’t finish but if I had to this would get 2 stars. Technically there isn’t anything wrong with the actual story technically. In that same books have glaring issues like incorrect names, wrong grammar, missing chunks of the story(this kind of does she literally never goes looking for the young girl and never mentions oh we should maybe look for her since we are in the city, unsure if that storyline comes back like maybe she was a spy idk and idc) but the low stars is because the flow of the story is all over the place and it makes no sense

Pick up a penny, heads, I’ll have good luck

Emily, captured and locked away yet again, this time by someone much darker than her wolves, she’d ran only because she was told to do so only she didn’t make it very far. Shackled not figuratively this time, literally to the floor but she’s determined to escape, determined to seek the freedom she was so close to having. Only she couldn’t run she needed them and that realization hit harder than anything. Again never as lucky as people said she was because the universe just couldn’t cut her a little slack.

The brothers while Connor is recovering from his moment of darkness, Liam has the few people he trust to search for Emily, while angry that she’d run while Connor was left to dïe has his błood boiling. What he doesn’t know is that she didn’t run while Connor was succumbing to his demons, that he’d let her go because he cared too much to hand her over to their father. Once he learns it wasn’t betrayal and that Connor tagged her before letting her go as a piece of mind they set off not having to go far. Their happy reunion is cut short by someone seeking to destroy them, but they have it all wrong.

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Oh my dear, what a wrap up with a twist on the brother’s family history 🤯. I just loved this story, I loved watching them all be so broken yet needing each other to mend all the pieces back together. To be the light in each others darkest days.

*ARC Review*

Oh My God. Like I said reviewing the first one, these twins have my whole heart🖤 My girl Emily went through some sh*tttttt but we love the revenge queen that came out of it! There was so many scenes I was just white knuckling my kindle, I couldn’t put it down. We had the studio scene 🥵 that was just perfection! My favorite had to be when Emily finally took control over the twins 🥵 forever panting and living rent-free in my head🖤

I finished it at 1am and didn’t stop crying until 3am 😅 the ending was perfect and heartbreaking at the same time.

Fav Quotes:
- "You are the only thing that could break me. It's in your name. You are my pulse, my heartbeat. You could destroy me… And I wouldn't have it any other way."
- "You are ours, Em&m. You complete our broken souls."
- “Luck was a bitch, but my destiny was always meant to end here.”

This was a really good book to the first and I love how it wrapped up the story.

Connor and Liam are in the hospital and whilst Liam is waiting for Connor to wake up he’s thinking up a plan to find Penny, he believes she escaped and left Connor for dead. Little does he know that Penny is fighting to escape so she can return to them.

This started off as a really tough read, Penny is really going through it once again and in the most horrific way but she escapes and i was rooting for her every step of the way.

When Penny returned to Connor and Liam well that was explosive, a lot of really spicy stuff happened there.

But what I really liked about this story was the three of them fighting for their freedom, they all deserved it and I’m so pleased they got it along with their happily ever after, together!

*ARC Review* Wow wow wow. that’s all i have to say about this book. I really enjoyed “Penny” and didn’t think I could possibly like this one more than the first, I stand corrected though. Penniless was so good. The smut was amazing, the plot was just as good. The twins absolutely have my heart, the way they show their love for Emily is adorable. The writing of this book was so easy to read, and kept you 100% drawn in. It was impossible for me to put the book down. All around I loved this book! Thank you Allie for the ARC!❤️

Ohh my this book!! From the very first chapter of this book I was hooked. The story line is quite literally amazing. Kept me on my toes with every chapter. The spicy scenes are a solid 10/10..so good. I love this series so much. Also I will be buying these in physical form very soon. Thank you Allie for making such an amazing story even though you made me want to cry and was very angry at some points.❤️❤️💜❤️💜🥵🥵🌶️

I couldn't wait to read this one after the cliffhanger from book 1 and it did not disappoint! For someone who had been through so much, Emily made it clear here that she was a fighter. She was not going to let people push her around any longer.
This story was emotional but also showed how much these three have grown. Their relationship changed and progressed, with both Connor and Liam figuring out what was really important to them, and what they wanted going forward.
This had intrigue, suspense, and some sweeter (and spicier!) moments, and was a story that kept me engaged, needing to know how it would all play out.
I have enjoyed this duet and look forward to reading more from this author.

good luck

Pennyless picks up right where book one ended. At the end of book 1 Emily is kidnapped after Conner let her go. He overdoses and Liam finds him.

Emily wants revenge for her rape. Together her and the guys plan to take down Cormac (the guys uncle) who they thought was dead. He isn’t the only threat there is someone behind him as well. All while Conner wants out from under his fathers control.

Ends in resolution. Told in MPOV.

When I finished Penny it left off on a cliffhanger and I wanted soo much more! Penniless delivered on that and then some! I can’t even explain how amazing it was. It was dark and emotional and dirty. Not many books hit you in the feels and make you have to fan yourself at the same time but Penniless sure did it! So amazing!

OK...LOVE!! I usually don't go for this level of dark in my romance but I am so glad I took a chance on the 2nd part of this duet. I very rarely find a villian that I find as purely EVIL as the one in this read (NO SPOILERS!) and I just ate it up! The warehouse scene, I mean are you kidding me?? 15/10 spice level!! *fans face* I look forward to what else this author has in store!

I seriously dislike books about sex trafficking. I have absolutely zero triggers but I just can’t stand these types of reads. It’s not a vibe for me. This series wasn’t bad and was packed full of suspense and just enough spice 😉

I got to 47% then stopped; it felt like I was getting whiplash while reading because it would move through scenes with very minimal transitions that I had no idea how we got there. The “love” or bonds between the fmc and mmc didn’t make sense imo— it felt too forced idk

Penniless picked up right where Penny left off (thank goodness, cause that cliffhanger was something)

I don’t want to give any spoilers in case you still need to read Penny, but I loved the character depth we got in this one! Also…Liam and Conner sharing!? Yessssss. Im all about it. I’m definitely a sucker for a good MFM scene. 🥵

The pacing of this book was pretty quick, which kept me on my toes and guessing about some of twists that were coming! Great read!

This duet gripped me from the beginning! This debut duet was fantastic! Emily’s story is tragic for what she goes through in the first book. In this book we see a lot of Emily growing stronger. She starts to stand up for herself and does what she needs to do. We also see a lot of the relationship growth between Emily, Conner and Liam. Conner is my fav by the way! I don’t know if it’s just my emotions but I cried at the end of the book. I don’t wanna let these characters go. I would have liked to seen a longer epilogue but overall a fantastic duet! Highly recommend! Check TW
