This book is a clarion call for all Christians. There is no more time for luke warm mainline feel good gospel of the American Church. Time is running out. Souls, millions of souls are on the line. It’s time to get fired up and rise up and get off the sidelines.

Mario Speaks Truth Eloquently
I always loved Mario Murillo's heart and the way he spoke. I remember him from the 80's. Now God has given him a larger platform. He is using it well. I'd underline the whole book if it made sense to do it. Very encouraging. Confirms all that I believe.

A lot of people like to say they spit fire when talking about hot topics, but Mario Murillo spews fire, and he does so with every sentence in this book.
A friend from church let me borrow this and despite the mountain of books I want to read, I am so glad I squeezed this one in. Every so often we need someone to shake us up, remind us of how dire our circumstances are while also inspiring us to action. That is no easy task.
Many are good at shaking people up but for what? Many are good at pointing out how bad our circumstances are in the church and the world but what can we do about it? Lastly, many are good at inspiring us, but to do what? Mario Murillo accomplishes all three and holds no punches about what is currently happening and what we can currently do about it.
I love hearing from Mario Murillo because he seems to have his finger right on the spiritual pusle of America. It is uncanny how well he communicates how we got here, what is actually happening now, and what we can expect if we do nothing. Mario certainly has a prophetic edge to him and God is using him to convey messages akin to the prophets of old but in a modern way for all these modern issues that really aren’t modern at all.
If you play with fire you are going to get burnt. So don’t play with this one, open your heart and let it burn in your spirit. Its hard to sit still when there is a “fire shut up in your bones.” So lets not sit still, lets do something, cause we all can do something, and God has called and commanded us to do something about our lost world and our dead churches.

We are on the verge of losing our nation. Our pursuit of happiness, our liberties, our lives. Many may think I’m being overly dramatic, but it’s true.
We have been neglecting our duties to America for far too long! We have elected leaders, and those leaders have disappointed us. While they have made “historic decisions” that we disagreed with, we have remained silent. But Martin Luther King, Jr. said “There comes a time when Silence is Betrayal.” How long will we keep betraying ourselves?
We have not stood up for our children as school boards introduce toxic curriculums to them. We have not reprimanded city councils for passing socialist policies. We have not removed national leaders as they increase the size of the American oligarchy - slowly and inevitably erasing our freedoms.
The Founders of this nation looked at all the governments of the world and decided that a Democracy was the most evil. America is not a Democracy, has never been a Democracy, it’s a Constitutional Republic. And those who vow to defend and protect our Constitution and then try to erase it line after line, precept after precept, are not fit for leadership!
But we have a chance to make this right. We can show up to our school boards, our city councils, remove our congressmen, senators, and high-ranking officials. Together we can save America!

We will no longer sit in our happy homes and look out for only ourselves. We will not keep silent as our freedoms and the foundation of this Nation is constantly attacked by our leaders and supported by those who have no idea what they’re fighting against as they fall in line into the socialist regime. The Bolsheviks of the 1910s and 20’s and the German people of the 30’s and 40’s fought for this too, and received enslavement and fear of their governments in exchange for security and protection by them. Let them stand as witness against all who wish to implement Marx into our schools, our communities, our nation!

Mario Murillo has a passion to see people from all walks of life become free indeed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This book has stirred up some hidden emotions that had been buried through layers of religious stagnation. Dead religion has lulled the Church to sleep through the compromised watered-down gospel. Mario's message will encourage believers to allow the Holy Spirit to soften hearts and fire up a fresh relationship with Jesus Christ. I've really enjoyed this book and reminded me to soften my heart to a lost and desperate world looking for truth. Awaken to the voice crying out in the wilderness! Shalom

I wish there was a 5+ rating. What an excellent, dynamic way to start the New Year on fire for God. Exactly what a lethargic, lazy, disillusioned church needs to jump-start revival/reformation. This book so needs to be read. One of the best authors & minister you'll ever hear.

Love Mario's simple yet profound, hit-you-in-the-gut-with-truth style of writing and preaching. He's not flashy but he's not wishy-washy either. The last two chapters were particularly convicting. The question is: what will I DO with this truth?
