This is book 3 in Marie Carr’s Italian Stallions series. While this can be enjoyed without reading the previous books the characters and some situations are introduced earlier, starting with Down and Dirty.
This is my absolute favorite book of the series! (so far 😉) Love the tropes/themes here: snowed in/forced proximity, Best Friend's Brother/Sister's Best Friend, and one night stand becomes more. Elio and Gianna have been background characters up until this point and it was great to get to know them better and see them fall in love. Gianna struggling with the fact that her carefully detailed life plan is falling apart and Elio finding purpose after hockey. Initially this feels a bit of opposites attract, yet they find they have a lot in common.
There's also Elio sharing his sexual expertise and helping Gianna realize that aspect of her life can offer so much more. Interspersed with conversations, walks, and cozying up in the family cabin - it makes for great pacing. The banter is so cute and I adore how Elio encourages Gianna's list making. Knowing these two have a stronger connection than merely sexual helps solidify the HEA.
I'm excited for Aldo & Kayden's book Hot and Heavy.
Narration:
Marina Barrett and Theo Sinclair are perfect again. Either one of them could have given a swoon-worthy performance on their own. Together is downright sublime.

Mari Carr has once again brought the reader into the Moretti family adventures. This is Elio Moretti’s book. He is a pro hockey player who has no commitments, and likes it that way. During a family holiday party, he kisses Gianna under the mistletoe and feels a spark. Gianna is fresh out of a eleven year relationship and broken hearted. Her best friend Liza Moretti offers her the use of the family cabin to mend her heart. Unbeknownst to her, Elio also goes to the cabin to heal from a hockey injury. Gianna offers to leave, but a big blizzard prevents that. They are both stuck there. After a while sparks begin to fly and they realize that they have a lot more in common then they realize. They leave but end up missing each other’s company. Gianna also ends up leaving with another surprise. Now she has to make the decision of Elio is worth the risk of opening up her heart again. I really liked these two characters. This story pulls you in. This is a great series and I look forward to reading more about the Morettis and their friends.

This series is a great in between read when I’m not feeling anything with my other books.
This author is so good at taking the average harlequin romance story but adds in much better sex than those others could provide. I’m not even complaining that everyone in the book acted like grown a$$ adults and didn’t overreact, lie or played hard to get.
Also, those 4 days in the cabin were amazing! The sex, storytelling, playfulness and the sex!
It maybe could have wrapped up a little sooner but I still really enjoyed this story and I’m committed to the Italian Stallion series now.

Wild and Wicked was a delight! The Italian Stallion series has been fantastic, and this book might just be my favorite.
I adored Elio and Gianna. They were so unexpected. Quiet to the outside world but forced together they really opened up and blossomed. The author did a great job of giving us chemistry but also true attraction between these characters. When these two were on page together it was electric, and I was absolutely all in for their story. I also loved the shout out to one of my favorite hockey players in Romance Alex from Making His Play.
If you are looking for a fun snowed in opposites attract romance, you should absolutely pick this up.

Wild and Wicked was exactly that! Opposites really do attract, and Elio and Gianna find they may have more in common than they first thought as they begin to explore new possibilities for themselves and each other while becoming snowed in together after seeking some clarity and alone time.
Opposites in what feels like, almost every way, both Elio and Gianna find themselves at a crossroads in their lives. Gianna finds herself in a job she doesn’t love after being dumped after an 11 year relationship she thought would end with marriage and babies. And, Elio finds himself wondering if the game and mindless one night stands are enough anymore or if it’s time to hang up his skates and start focusing on a family. Together, they start seeing themselves and each other in a new light . . . and, once tequila starts flowing, all rules are out the window for the duration of their stay together. But, with no promises made, what happens between them when the snow melts?
Wild and Wicked was so much fun! It’s always the quiet ones! LOL. I just knew Gianna had a wild side just waiting to be coaxed out of her and Elio was definitely the right man for the job! It was exciting to watch her blossom and want more for herself since it felt like she had just been going through the motions in a relationship that really wasn’t what she thought it was for many years. And, I really loved watching the playboy bachelor get thrown for a wicked loop when he realized he didn’t really want to walk away from Gianna with no strings attached.
So much of this book was just the two of them with no other distractions, and I loved it! It made for deep conversations between them, fun getting to know you experiences and some extremely not safe for work sexy times. Their chemistry was off the hook and I loved watching them go from acquaintances to so much more! 5 stars!

Whew! No one is going to see this coming. Talk about “Hot!” Gianna was still reeling from her break-up of her first love, only to find he didn’t just leaver her, but he cheated as well. She ends up telling her best friends after she gets to the party – where Liza Moretti suggest she do a little flirting. What she didn’t count on was ending up under the mistletoe with Liza’s confirmed bachelor brother Elio Moretti. Deciding to go for it, boy what a kiss It was! Later, Liza thought it would be a good idea for Gianna to get away and offered their family cabin to use. Unbeknownst to either, Elio was planning to go as well. This Italian Stallions series keeps getting better and better! Elio and Gianna are absolutely my favorite couple of the series, as well as one of my favorite pairings from Mari Carr in general...and I think I've read almost all her books.
Stranded with one bed isn't my favorite trope, to be honest. Maybe because it's often those enemies/frenemies that are stuck together; again, not always a fav. But Elio and Gianna not only have a friends and family connection, but they are already friendly. Especially after that mistletoe kiss! that was HAWT!
And while the smexy parts were, you know...super smexy, I adored the fun and laughter they had together. The connection this list making, slightly tightly-wound heroine has with the recovering-from-an-injury pro hockey player. They were both such likable characters with seemingly nothing in common, but them mesh in the best way possible. To me, that's what makes a great story, and Ms. Carr gave us readers that in spades!
While I recommend the series as a whole, Wild and Wicked will remain my favorite for all the reasons I listed above, plus it kept a smile on my face from beginning to end.

As Gianna begins to adjust to single life, she realizes she needs a new life plan, but although her friends are pushing her to start dating again, Gianna is just not ready.
With no family of her own, the Morettis bring Gianna into their fold, but after a busy holiday, Gianna needs a place to regroup and wants to figure out a plan for her life, including considering a new job. When her friend, Liza Moretti suggests the family cabin, Gianna takes her up on it. But nobody knew that Elio was also needing some time to think and chose the same place. When these two end up being snowed in together sparks fly and their secret, no strings attached, several day affair begins.
When their time is up, Elio and Gianna part ways, but both quickly realize that their time together was more than just a limited time. But struggling to be together faces more challenges that either of them could imagine.
This was a fantastic book, with lots of Italian Stallion cameos and many sneak peeks of more fantastic stories to come!

My favourite of the series so far!
Gianna is the good girl with a clear life plan, and is blindsided when her boyfriend of 11 years dumps her. Elio is a playboy hockey star and her best friend’s brother, and is going through an epiphany of his own. They end up trapped in his family’s cabin during a blizzard, and of course there is only one bed. 😆
I had such a good time listening to this audiobook! Sometimes a snowed-in romance can drag a little, but I loved how we got to see Gianna and Elio’s emotional connection (their conversations felt very natural), so it wasn’t all about the physical attraction. Their chemistry had that special sparkle, where there was playfulness while still being sexy.
It was such as a sweet and cozy romance, no games, just oodles of feel good moments (in more ways than one!).

Wild and Wicked by Mari Carr is a surprise pregnancy hockey romance that I listened on audio narrated by Marina Barrett and Theo Sinclair. This is the fourth book in the Italian Stallions series.
I loved the relationship between Elio and Gianna. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the story. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Hot and Heavy to be released on July 18, 2023, so I can get Kayden, Aldo, and Hazel's story.
Theo and Marina did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like one night stand romances, surprise pregnancy romances, hockey romances, or contemporary romances.

Wild and Wicked may be my new favorite book in the Italian Stallions series! Gianna and Elio are sweet, sexy, and captivating. I was hooked from the beginning, and I couldn’t put it down. I stayed up way too late reading. love these two big Italian families. Gianna needs to get away to get over an old relationship. Elio needs to decide if he wants to keep playing hockey after a bad injury. They end up snowed in together at a cabin. Sparks fly, and steamy times happen. Life throws crazy curves their way. Can they make this work? Mari Carr always writes excellent stories with great characters. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

This book gives me the awwws. It was freaking hot (melting the snow in the storm), family connections, laughs, HEA, hints of future books. Mari never ever disappoints. I loved the mention of Pats Pub (made me smile) and I had many aww moments like when Elio tells Gianna he is her family now. I loved his speech about how their first kiss under the mistletoe lifted the fog for him. I loved Gianna’s love for her Grandma and all her lists. I could read this over and over and find another thing I love. It’s a winner.

Wow.. this series keeps getting better! Gianna and Elio are kind of an unexpected couple. Forced to spend time alone together, snowed in, all because Elio wanted time away from everyone to think. He is really at a crossroads in his career and life and has decisions to make. Gianna has had her previous relationship blown apart and her plans/lists have blown up with it. These two getting snowed in together probably was best for both of them. Sparks fly and well..... by reading the blurb you know what happens next.

Absolutely loved Wild And Wicked by Mari Carr. I mean who doesn't love some Italian Stallions. This 4th instalment in the Italian Stallion series sees Gianna and Elio spend a week in a cabin together which leads to them both making some serious changes to their perceived life goals. If you are looking for a wonderful series to read then look no further. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

I've been looking forward to the next book in Mari Carr's Italian Stallion series. While I'm not a huge fan of surprise pregnancy, I liked the way this one was handled.
Gianna and Elio might be the most unlikely pair, but being stuck in a small cabin during a blizzard reveals a lot of feelings neither knew they had.
As always, it's great seeing characters from previous books in the series and from other series.

Wild and Wicked is another fantastic addition to the Italian Stallions series. I love this boisterous family and was so glad to catch up with all of the previous characters! Elio and Gianna are both people with lots of layers beneath the surface and it was absolutely great to see them uncovered. Funny, sweet and wow, the sexy times are scorching hot. This book will join the others on my keeper shelf and I know I'll enjoy re-reading it again in the future, it's that good. Can't wait for the next one!.

Another wonderful read in Italian Stallions Series!!
Gianna the planner with lists that have lists found her HEA with relationship adverse Elio - perfect! Loved seeing Elio pick up the lists and the planning while snowed in! Ha, groceries!
Can't wait for next two books - Aldo and Kayden then we get Liza Moretti and *the* Matt Russo. Which in this book we find out more about the Moretti & Russo feud.

This book was amazing! Elio is such a fun loving guy who never thought to look at the cards before him. Gianna who constantly makes the lists and ticks things off as she does them, doesn’t think twice before a heated exchange. This book was scorching. From the friends and their talks, to heated scenes in the bedroom, this book had it all.

These two were just so perfect together! There is something about forced proximity that just makes you fall in love with the characters as they are falling in love with each other. These two are opposites in almost every way, but they are both a little lost right now. That they find their way with each other made it all the sweeter. Of course, getting to their HEA wouldn’t be easy, a few detours along the way, but once they got there, it was full speed ahead!

Wild and Wicked was a fabulous romance that fun, flirty, and tugged at the heart strings. Gianna life plan was no more, and she's struggling to get back to the dating scene. Elio is the family playboy and has a hard, fast, no commitment rule...until Gianna. Eliot and Gianna have such amazing heat and I loved their flirty banter. Elio's loved fir Gianna shines in this story. I couldn't put thier story down and read it in one sitting. Love this series.
