Hidden Agenda - Abandoned Boat - Bahamas - Gold - Exciting New Cam Derringer Adventure
Mac Fortner never fails to deliver an exciting read that you cannot put down until finished. My opinion, he has done it again with Deep Blue Deception. Mac puts excitement, mystery, hidden agendas, fun, some clandestine activities, a little government undercover activity plus some beautiful women all in one package for his best book in the series.
Cam Derringer usually finds himself crossways with authorities. He tackles and solves mysteries but things are not always as they seem. This puts Cam, and associates, in a bind from time to time. An abandoned boat of a friend headed to the Bahamas for his wedding puts the mystery in motion. It just so happens, on the same boat the man’s wife, on the boat alone, disappeared not to be found. Add, that Cam's wife disappeared years earlier in the same area, compound the problem for the authorities.
Cam, along with Stacy ( who likes to sneak in and watch him in the shower ) who keeps her boat on the same dock area as Cam, daughter Diane along with other friends head to Bahamas to solve mystery and hopefully find their friend. The Daughter of the missing man had requested Cam's help even though he had never previously found her missing Mother.
This sets the stage for an adventure that moves back and forth between the Bahamas and Key West. Mac includes some undercover Government work by his ex-wife and current girl friend…. Oh, I didn’t mention she reappeared!?! Don’t miss this standalone book even if you have not read previous ones in the series. Another Convoluted Adventure. Cam’s In Trouble. AGAIN!!
“DeepBlue Alibi” is by far the most convoluted bit of trouble Cam Derringer has managed to land in yet.
The action begins with a mass shooting with Cam, and his friend Stacey caught on camera.bBut. Was it really him?
Problems escalate as Cam, and his friends attempt to prove his innocence.
It’s a great read, and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic Read
This book had me glued to it from the very beginning.... I always enjoy reading books from this author as he never disappoints...his books are full of twist and turns with lots of suspense to keep you interested. I will recommend this book and all of his other books to anyone wanting a good entertaining book to read...This is an author that will keep you on the edge of your seat.....this book was a good read and I highly recommend it.

Best laid plans don't always work
Outstanding read. Just getting better. Wonderful story and many plot twists. Trying to take Cam out is a big mistake as the cartel finds out. But not after many have been killed or wounded. Really written well and it involves the whole crew. You will not put this one down!

A great, well thought out plot, lots of action, and wonderful characters. If you haven’t been following the last few books it might get a bit confusing there are so many players in this drama, but I’s sure you will sort them out.
