Prior to becoming a published author, Geoff was heavily involved in the roleplaying game community and wrote several game products - some of which have been published by Expeditious Retreat Press, Sentinel Hill Press, and others.
His first short novel, The Tunnelers, was published in 2011 by Solstice Publishing. He has since been published by Metahuman Press, AE SciFi, KnightWatch Press, Exile Editions, McGraw-Hill, Third Flatiron Publishing, and others. He primarily writes horror, but is willing to give anything a whirl.
Geoff lives in South Mountain, where a lovely and captivating stone-carving, bagpipe-playing witch also happens to reside.
This adventure works pretty well for a 4 hour convention slot, and the Temple encounter with the Corruptor is a blast. However, there are too many goblin encounters beforehand; it could use some environmental challenges mixed in like rickety rope bridges or sinkholes to navigate around. It would be nice to build up the mystery a bit more in the opening sequence, though I'm not sure how. As it is, I mainly read a lot of text to the players. I was looking for a very Call of Cthulhu-esque D&D adventure, and this one fits the bill, but a little bit more detective work before heading to the abbey would be nice. Also, could use a wilderness map.
