I discovered the author with an unusual shifter story from her More Than Human series, series I hope she will continue sometime in the future.
Until this new series, all her books were paranormal or syfy romances. So I suppose this series surprised many readers, yet it is still the author we love to read behind the words.
So even without any magic or fantasy, these stories all bear her mark, why since I read the first book, I have missing not one of these books and even already preordered the next.
Because who does not love a ba@d@$$ woman and the man who falls fast for her.
And Midnight is this woman, with Junayd has no way out from the moment he met her, she bewitched him.
Like all the women in this series, Midnight belongs to an unusual bunch of kids “rescued” from the streets whose very peculiar talents have been used to deal with the dregs of the world.
Midnight wears the scars of those encounters, but some run deeper and left her wary of others.
Junayd is in appearance the most level-headed of the four siblings, he became thus after a hard learned lesson. Still he is like his brothers and once he has set his sight on the woman who has caught his attention, he won’t bulge because he believes she is the one.
They are in for an entertaining and wild courtship as they butt heads, face some foes and fall into one another arms.
This book is an other fun addition to this series, can’t wait for the next one and the one after as it might reveal more about the last brother and Junebug.

This is my 3rd book in this series and i've enjoyed them all. They are action packed with strong female characters who are also compassionate, sexy, and love fiercely when they find their soulmate. Junaday spots Midnight rescuing a girl, and now both are intrigued with each other. Soulmates? However, both are caught up in the political intrigue from book 1 which is not yet resolved but gets more and more dangerous. I really need book 4 which is not out until June, Ugh

Good storyline. Disliked all the sexual tensions & Junayd pushing Midnight for marriage & children, & trying to change her career choice & changing who she is to satisfy his own needs. I would have dumped any man who tried to change who I was & pushing for marriage & children I don't want.
Love the bodyguards scenes especially when she tests their ability to keep track of her. Also loved Junebug, Tarek & Idella scenes.

This is the third book in this series I have read. I totally enjoyed it. The books are about strong, complicated, dangeous women who don't think they are worthy of love. They help those who have no other option. The men who love them are exceptional in their own ways and do not try to change the. I love this story about Midnight and the man who captured her heart!

Junaryd is a Doctor as well as a Prince.
Murder, action, kidnapping and drama is packed into this series.

entertaining
Author has a way of surprising me. I have read many books and usually can see twists and turns. Not with this series.
Usually I am not fond of repeat dramatic parts and just prefer to read about the relationship building.
This book had great additions and did not distract to the relationship.

That was good!!!!
Midnight is an assassin. She also rescues kids and teens that go missing. Bugs is her sister. Together they are very good at what they do. Junyad is a Dr. And Prince of Jawahir. He meets Midnight by chance. She gives him a good run. Love this series.

Midnight’s destiny
Love how Midnight takes care of herself. The prince is unexpected and takes care of business later in the story but a perfect match for Midnight .

Oh boy, Midnight was a great character from the first time we seen her. She witty and charming. Now, the third brother and first twin, you would think...they would change a it but nope. Kidnapping their loves to get married to them. It is funny as well.
Testing his guards and himself, way to go Midlight. You need to read book 1 and 2 to go onto book 3 and now i have to wait for book 4 to come out. I want it sooner.
