I'm sorry to say I was pretty bored with this one.

The story is about a non-gamer girl whose sister invites her to play an MMO. I had a lot of issues with it from the start. First of all, the main character insists she has no interest in the game and won't play it. But then she immediately does play it, and throughout the manga she knows way too much gaming terminology to not be a gamer. Also, you have to be naked to play the game for unknown reasons. Supposedly to create your virtual reality character, you have to undress initially so the game can scan your body. But both she and her sister continue to disrobe to play the game each time after that. (I mean, I KNOW why - it's for the reader's pleasure...only.)

The characters were way too two-dimensional for me to care about them. The main character only takes breaks from the game so the reader can see her laying naked in bed each time. The only time she leaves her apartment is so we can see her boobs bouncing as she plays tennis. Give me a break.

What made this manga appealing was the fact that the main character accidentally creates a character of the zombie race. But it's a short-lived scenario because halfway through the book she finds a magical item to turn her into a princess instead. I actually really liked the zombie art and that she was fighting nothing but zombies in a catacomb. But she immediately got OP and her character art changed to something generically pretty. At least for now she'll stay in the catacombs so there will be actual zombies around for a while.

Worst of all is the annoying game AI. The main character, because she doesn't want all the game mechanics spoiled, turns the helpfulness of the AI down to the lowest setting. Except then the entire manga is bogged down by this supposed comic relief, an AI who doesn't understand how the game works and gives bad advice. It was obnoxious and really annoyed the shit out of me throughout the entire story. The MC is clearly an expert gamer, anyway, so she should have shut the AI off and it not have been in the story.

This was a disappointing read for me. It was repetitive and dull. The one cool thing is that the MC was a zombie and it turned out that was only temporary so I have no interest in continuing.

I enjoyed the book but was surprised and disappointed by the differences between the light novel and the mangas. The manga is still nice and I plan to continue reading for the artwork.

decent start (and not an isekai)

Imagine a virtual reality game where you can take your headset off and go back to your normal life when you're done.

Crazy concept for a manga, but that's what this story is, and that's a nice change of pace.

Unfortunately, besides the super-cute girls, there isn't much happening in this story yet. The game is just a game, so there's not a whole lot at stake, at least not yet.

I may check out volume 2 just to see if the story progresses anywhere.

Oh, and there's plenty of nudity so careful where you read this book

Interesting story idea, but a lot of nudity.

I'd rate this a full 5 stars, but there's way more nudity than I'm comfortable with. The story idea was very interesting, but I don't want nudity in my entertainment. I probably should have checked more thoroughly before buying.
Anyway, I won’t be buying the rest of the series. But, if you don't have a problem with that, it was a well told start to a series.

I much prefer the light novels. Volume 1 is awful. It gets progressively a little better in later volumes. If there ever is an anime, I hope they take a different tack.
