Enjoyed this more than the 1st one!

Very sexy and full of exploration.

Still had a strange 3rd act attack. And we also had to see the one from the first book unfold as well since these have parallel time lines.

4.5 smutty stars!

I loved this book so much! This starts at Paradise a s*x island where all your dreams will come true. They have intense chemistry, hook up, but also hook up with other people (Thank you JA Low for all the **sharing**).

I absolutely LOVED Alex. He realized that she had been abused and spent the entire book showing her that she is worthy of love, while never pushing her to do more than she can handle. I loved Nate (his brother and MMC from Paradise), but he has made the list of top book boyfriends ever.

if you are looking for a HOT HOT HOT HOT book with great plot, look no further.

TW: abusive ex, ex stalking, assault, and SA (talk of SA that occurred in first book - Paradise).

If you don't like group activities aka sharing this book may not be for you.

JA Low writes her books as interconnected standalones aka love stories are stand alones but the story line all take place at the same time, or around same time so I do recommend reading Paradise first!

Paradise has been one of my top spicy book recs since I read it back in August and I've been counting down the days until book 2 in The Paradise Club series! Dropped everything to read Lost In Paradise when it came out and it did not disappoint! We got a peak of Ivy and Alex in book 1 and this book dives completely into their story. Honestly the whole concept of this series in unmatched, a resort where all your fantasies can come to life. Ivy is ready to let go of the old her and explore a new side of herself. Alex came to Paradise for some fun and to support his brother, but he doesn't expect anything serious to come from it. These two are instantly drawn to each other and the chemistry is HOT! I love how Alex encouraged Ivy to continue to explore the island and the new side of her she's discovering. He listens to her wants and needs and it's swoon worthy for sure. Ivy goes through a lot through this book but she comes out stronger and more sure of herself at the end. Cannot recommend this series enough if you're looking for SPICE!

Absolutely love this one!! I couldn’t put it down, Once again I got lost in Paradise.

Alex and Ivy meet at The Paradise Club Resort. Owned by Alex’s brother Nate, Camryn, Ivy’s sister invites her to the early launch while Nate did the same for his brother. Ivy is at the resort hanging out with Camryn and her friend Olivia. When Alex spots her and wants his brother to introduce him to her. Ivy and Alex go to the bar to grab and drink, hang out and talk. Ivy tries to leave as she gets tipsy and starts saying things she’ll regret later, when Alex follows her and tells her he wants to hang out with her he likes talking to her. They head back to Ivy’s bungalow, Ivy is shocked at how much Alex wants her. The next morning Ivy gets her morning wakeup from Granger, and is shocked, she didn’t order it it’s a gift from her sister, Camryn. Granger offers Ivy a Happy ending message instead, to relax her. Alex’s best friend Jasper Fox shows up at the resort, and Alex shows him around then takes him to his beach villa. Alex head back to the main area to grab lunch when someone catches his attention. Ivy’s walking and she wants to explore the island, get out and stretch her legs, Alex offer to take her around and show her around, she takes him up on the offer. Alex and Ivy talk as they explore the island, they agree they want to be friends and maybe see what happens when they get back to London. Alex get a little jealous when Ivy tells him about her wakeup call from Granger that morning. Alex takes Ivy to the waterfalls to explore where there’s a hidden pathway to take you inside the waterfall. Inside the waterfalls is a never ending lagoon, so Alex and Ivy decide to take a swim, but Alex has to go commando he doesn’t have his trunks, so Ivy decides to too. Alex grabs Ivy because she can’t touch the bottom so she wraps her legs around him. Ivy tells Alex she wants him, so he pulls her out of the water and get physical together. After they have lunch Alex takes Ivy back to her bungalow, Camryn and Olivia are waiting for Ivy and want to know where she’s been. Olivia tells them she is headed to LA to spend time with Axel to see if things could work between them. Later that night Camryn, Olivia and Ivy are joined by Nate, Axel and Alex at the bar, Jasper didn’t make it he had an early night. Moments later Axel takes Olivia, they have an early flight. Then Nate and Camryn dash off saying they have a meeting to prepare for. Alex and Ivy head to the beach, finding a sun lounge to sit on. They both appreciate the silence and everything around them. They both talk about their business and how no one else gets how hard they have to work to keep it going. Having fallen asleep in Alex’s arms last night, Ivy is shocked when she awakes in her bed. Alex carried her back to her bed last night. Ivy gets her morning wakeup when Granger shows up with Kostas. Ivy is blindfolded, upon request, and has a threesome with Granger and Kostas. Afterwards all three head to relax in the pool, before heading back inside for more. Later that night Alex pick up Ivy, to have dinner with Camryn and Nate. Alex and Ivy arrive late for dinner, stopping along the way. Nate talks to Ivy about who designed the buildings on the island, she’s an interior designer. When Camryn and Ivy find out Pierre Lavigne is Nate’s designer they are shocked. Pierre is Nate and Alex’s father’s oldest friend, and husband number four for Camryn and Ivy’s mother. Pierre took Ivy under his wing when she graduated boarding school, she didn’t know what to do she needed a job. Pierre trained and mentored Ivy, which he never did for anyone, she still keeps in touch with him. Camryn and Ivy head to the kitchen for drinks, while Alex and Nate talk. Nate tells Alex he can’t mess up his relationship with Ivy, she’s had some bad relationships in the past. Nate tells Alex he’s just looking for him, as he’s falls hard and fast. Meanwhile Camryn talks to Ivy about what’s going on with her and Alex. Camryn tells Ivy she can see good changes in her sister, she is happy for her. On the way back to Ivy’s bungalow she falls asleep on Alex’s shoulder, she asks him to stay, but he tells her nothing will happen tonight, when the sun comes up it will. Ivy wakes then Alex but he tells her to lay back and enjoy herself as he pleasures her. When Granger shows up with breakfast, Alex tells Ivy he wants him to watch, but she has to tell him. Afterwards Alex heads to the shower while Granger cleans up, then leaves so Ivy heads to the shower. Eating breakfast Alex tries to convince Ivy to see him when they get back to London. They spend the rest of the day lazing around in the pool, napping, watching movies and eating. On the last morning Ivy is at the resort, they wake up in each other arms, Ivy tells Alex she wants him. Alex promises to find Ivy when he gets back and take her out on a date. Camryn and Nate arrive and they all walk out to the helicopter pad, Alex help Ivy into the helicopter. Camryn and Ivy are taken to the mainland while Camryn ask Ivy what’s going on with her and Alex. Camryn and Ivy part ways as both headed to different sides of the world. Ivy contacts Pierre asking when they can catch up. Alex stayed at the resort he has business he needs to take care of with his brother, Nate before heading home. Jasper joins Nate and Alex at the singles pool and wants to know what going on with the two of them, not checking out the two girls making out by the pool. Both Nate and Alex confess they are thinking of the ladies who just left them to go back to their homes. Alex ask Nate if he can get more information on Ivy’s ex who did a real number on her, Nate says he’ll look into it. Later Nate’s knocking on Alex’s villa telling him Ivy’s ex is Steve Holdsworth, of Holdsworth & Sons, competitors to Lewis & Co which Alex now runs for his father. Alex is going to do everything he can to take Holdsworth down, but he’s going to play the long game. The next week, Ivy made plans to see Pierre and Alex but has to break them to head to England to help Olivia dress shop for her wedding. Ivy flys back to London, but gets a text from Alex asking her if she needs a ride, then she hears him call her name, when she turns around he is standing there. They talk on the thirty minute drive to Ivy’s house, Ivy invites Alex inside her home, but he declines, he doesn’t want the temptation, he wants to take her out on a date first. A few days later Alex is on Ivy’s door step ready to take her on a date. Alex takes Ivy to the boat docks and onto a boat to it will putter along the Regent’s Canal while they have dinner. Alex tells Ivy he wants to have fun with her with no pressure. Alex tells Ivy a little about his past relationships, Ivy can’t open up yet. When the date is over, Alex takes Ivy to her beautiful mews cottage where Ivy invites him inside and he accepts. Once inside Alex takes Ivy upstairs and stays the night with her. The next morning Ivy head out to go shopping and Alex asks her if he can come with. They stop for brunch and Ivy tells Alex her office is around the corner. Alex asks Ivy if he can see her office, Alex says he needs Ivy to update his office. The next week Alex takes Ivy to his family home they are celebrating his father’s birthday and Pierre will be there. Alex’s mom Judy is a huge fan of Ivy’s work, and she is excited to meet her. Alex gets them settled into his room, while Judy and Ivy talk. Judy lets it slip that there is a connection between Alex and Ivy’s ex’s. When Alex comes Ivy questions him about it, he tells her his ex is the mistress of her ex’s brother and he’s going to make them pay for what they did. Later panicked Ivy call her sister Camryn to talk to her about the situation, she tells her she has nothing to worry about. When Alex talks to his mom she apologies to him for the slip, he tells her Ivy is fine. Judy tells Alex it’s going to take some time with Ivy, her ex really messed her up. Nate arrives in a helicopter and he tells Alex they need to talk later. Before dinner Alex head to Nate’s room to find out what Jackson Connolly has, some of the stuff they can’t prove. Jackson did find out they borrowed too much money from the bank, so they are opening an audit on the company and the company isn’t worth anything. So the bank is calling in their debt and Holdsworth can’t pay them. Nate has a list of the properties they’re selling, it’s three-quarters of their assets. Nate’s letting Alex have what he wants, then Nate and Sam will take the rest. Alex and Ivy head downstairs and she’s hears Pierre talking before she’s hits the bottom step. Pierre is shocked to see Ivy, but happy she is there. Pierre ask Ivy if she is dating Alex and she says she is and lets it slip that Nate and Camryn are too. Pierre and Ivy catch up on how her and Alex met and Pierre tells Alex he better not mess up with Ivy. The next day at work Ivy receives flowers so she calls Alex to thank him but they’re not from him, she doesn’t know who they’re from. Ivy asks Alex if he’ll go to Olivia wedding with her, he flys her in a private plane to England. Camryn, Ivy and Alex all head to the pub across the road after Olivia’s wedding didn’t happen, then she takes off for LA to find Axel. Alex and Ivy talk to Camryn about their relationship. They don’t want it getting out there dating until after the awards show. Back in London Alex give Ivy her gold card to the Paradise Club. Alex and Ivy are greeted at the club and Alex shows Ivy around. Alex and Ivy both agree they only want to be with each other, then Alex finds a room for them. Alex screams when he see Ivy on the ground and runs to her. Alex confesses her loves her and he just wants her to wake up. Moments later Ivy wakes, but she wants to leave, she refuses to go to the hospital and doesn’t want anyone to see her. When the ambulance gets there a female EMT looks over Ivy, she tries to convince Ivy she needs to file a police report. Alex takes Ivy home after she refuses to talk to anyone, and she wants to be left alone. Alex refuses to leave her, he tells her he needs to keep an eye on her and he’ll sleep in the guest bedroom, she tells him he needs to leave in the morning. Alex walks Ivy to her room when she goes into the bathroom and locks the door he leave and brings her a cup of tea and tells her he’ll wake her every hour. Alex leaves and goes to the guest bedroom and calls Nate. Nate tells Alex that Steve abused her and Camryn and Olivia didn’t know it was happening, until they seen it. Camryn and Olivia had to physical remove Ivy from the situation. Nate tells Alex he needs to be there for Ivy and take care of her. Alex later send a message to Jackson Connolly to dig up more dirt on Steve Holdsworth. The next morning as Ivy looks at herself she hears a crash downstairs. Ivy find Alex cleaning up a broken vase, he tells her he lost his temper when he seen the flowers were an apology from Steve. After a shower Ivy comes downstairs to find a note from Alex, hell give her time to heal and be waiting for her. Ivy runs to Pierre who’s in Dubai. Ivy tells Pierre everything that happened between her and Steve. Ivy confesses she left Alex because she is broken and he deserves better. Pierre gives her advise telling her she deserves to be happy. Later Pierre calls Alex to update him on Ivy, they talk about how to taken down Steve Holdsworth and his family. Alex, Jasper, Daniel and Alastair head to the island for Paradise Club Resort grand opening. When Ivy arrives back home she goes to the police to get a restraining order against Steve she has all the evidence she needs, with him sending her flowers. Ivy also starts seeing a therapist for the years she suffered with Steve and uncovers all her trauma that she was being pushed aside by her mother. Ivy invites Olivia and Isla over to catch up on everything that’s been happening in their lives. Ivy finds out Alex is at the grand opening so she messages him he sends her a picture of himself wearing a black band which means staff no play. Alex asked Ivy if he can call her, so she calls him. Ivy tells Alex she misses him, he wants to get on the next plane to see her, she tells him to give her more time and enjoy himself. Alex gets a message from Jackson that there is a problem he needs to come to Nate‘s Villa. Upon arriving he finds out that Harris, Camryn’s ex has made it on the island, drugged Nate, and Camryn is missing. Alex stays with Nate until he is better and then tells him what happened. Kimberly calls Ivy to find out if she’s heard from Camryn, then tells her what happened. Olivia and Axel come to stay with Ivy because Alex is tied up with Nate. Camryn call Ivy to tell her she’s safe and to not come to her she needs time to process everything. Later Alex comes home to Ivy wanting to know if she still wants him, after everything that happened, she’s all in. Everything starts coming together with Nate getting Camryn back, and the Holdsworth family empire crumbling. One year later Olivia and Axel are married, Alex and Ivy spend Christmas in Aspen with Nate and Camryn, Sam, Harper, and Kimberly. Nate ask Camryn to marry him, they were married Christmas Day. Alex now has a surprise for Ivy as they pull up to the home of her dreams. Ivy walks in to rose petals scattered all over the floor, an empty house with no furniture, and a picnic basket in the living room with candles all over. Alex drops to one knee and ask Ivy to marry him, and she says YES! Then tells her he bought the home they are standing in. Ivy was lost in Paradise but she’ll never be lost again with Alex beside her.

I can honestly say I didn't like Lost in Paradise nearly as much as I liked Paradise. The books take place at the same time so there were scenes that repeated exactly from book 1 to book 2. It didn't even feel like we got any new emotions or takes on it from the new character POV. The entire first chapter was like this and it really started me off feeling weird about the book. But then it kept happening the entire way through.

The pacing of this book is just wildly different than the first one. That one was go-go-go the entire time and this one only was for the chapters they were at the island. After they left, it took a nosedive into slow motion and it felt like it took me FOREVER to get through the book after that.

I liked this but the middle part dragged a little so hence the rating. The spice at both the s&x resort and club scenes were hot but there was a lot more romance and plot than I was expecting for a book of this style.

These two characters are introduced in book 1 'paradise’ & this second book runs parallel to book 1 so must be read in order.

Some triggers: discussion of past eating disorder, past abusive ex, assault on h on page (not by H), SA of side character.

Loved this book!!! Ivy was a bit long winded at times but it all makes sense towards the end. She’s in her head a lot and is insecure due to past abuse. I loved Alex—he was an angel. Love this series.

Alex and Ivy

Sex club
Millionaire
Friends to lovers

After reading the first book, this was a nice return to that storyline since it took place at the same time. It was fun getting more details or alternate perspectives during some scenes from book one. I love these two together, they were great!

The spice was less than the first book and seemed more on the vanilla side of things as well. Still fun but just not the same vibes as book 1 on the heat.

Overall: 3 stars
Angst level: 2/5
Steam level: 3/5

I liked this book and rate it 4.5; it offered good smut just like the first book. (M/f, m/m scene, quick burn, light bondage, threesomes, sex club, spice creativity and quality 5/5, spice frequency 5/5, storyline 4.5)

I enjoyed this second book in the series. The erotica is good and the relationship that builds between them is, once again, easy. My only real complaint, which is the reason it lost .5 off the storyline rating, is that it followed the same plot line as the first book a little too closely for my liking. (Him showing her the ropes at the sex club, him developing feelings first, him encouraging and helping her to break out of her shell and fulfil fantasies, both parties being opposed commitment, then slowly giving into it as they develop feelings, an ex boyfriend starts bother the FMC, said ex boyfriend attacks the FMC which causes her to run away to “process”, which threatens the further of the relationship that was budding, she comes to her senses and eventually realizes she was wrong to push him away and goes back to him who is waiting with open arms- this sums up both books with minor differences in detail) The only reason I’m not too upset about this is because there was enough differences to satisfy me especially the differences in the personalities of the FMC and MMC. Their personalities and dynamic between each other in this book was unique from the first book.

It was overall sexy smut reading with a sweet love story where you are rooting for the characters and their relationship. Just like in the first book, I like that this author doesn’t take us on a rollercoaster of drama and conflict. It’s very easy between them other that the one challenge they have to overcome at the end before living happily every after.

This book had some typos and one big mistake from the author that I’m surprised wasn’t picked up by the editors. The books over lap because the protagonists in both books are siblings and interconnected; therefore, this same scene plays out in both books just from a different character pov- in the first book, the MMC (Nate), the MMC (Alex) from this second book and their friend Axel run into the FMC (Camryn), her sister Ivy (FMC from the second book) and their friend Olivia. In the first book, Nate tells the other two men who the three ladies are by explaining that “the one in the red dress is cameryn, the one in the white dress is Olivia and one in the pink dress is Ivy.” In the second book, during this exact same scene, Nate once again describes the girls by dress colour, but this time the author has mixed up the girls dress colours when she has Nate state that Cameryn is in the white dress and Olivia is in the red.

I excited to read the next book that comes out in May.

fantastic, absolutely fantastic!

I loved this book, it’s very well written with such detail and emotion. Ivy us such a fascinating FMC, love her inner monologue and her strength for what’s she has gone through in the past.
Alex has also a traumatic past with relationships. Mixing these two and the amazing Paradise Resort it makes for a steamy, let’s be honestly it was hot AF read.
Loved the ups and downs, the twists and suspense throughout the book and also the over lap with other characters and books.
Overall a fantastic book, I honestly couldn’t put it down until the very last word if that perfect t ending.

Loved it! Ivy had a great back story that led to a brilliant novel alongside Alex. I loved the smattering of familiar characters from the other series and events we already knew and loved the way their story unravelled.

I wanted to give it 3.5 stars. It was good. Story line was decent, characters were great, their interactions were great. It just didn't reel me in quite like others, or even the 1st in this series. I have high hopes for the 3rd !

I loved Ivy & Alex’s story ❤️❤️‍🔥
Both carried baggage from horrendous previous relationships. Alex was ❤️‍🔥 with a dirty mouth but still a huge romantic, a perfect book BF!
I liked that the characters from the first book are here as well. Really like this series!

Ivy is coming to stay at paradise to get away and feel like herself again. Her sister Camryn works at paradise along with the Nate who we see in the first book Paradise. Paradise is a place where you can go explore with other people or alone . It’s all accustom to what you want. Camryn just wants her sister to let go and have fun.

Alex is Nate’s brother. He is visiting the island for the soft opening of the resort. Alex is a sweet and patient man when it comes to ivy. He honestly helps her so much and is just so understanding. He is also very easy on the eyes and the dirty talk he delivers is hot! 😉

When they start to hookup at the resort it’s a no strings attach deal. Obviously in the beginning they are at a resort where fantasies come true. So ivy is exploring at that time. He just wants ivy to be happy and he likes her a lot. They both live in London so when they go back can they try to be together or is it all just a fantasy on the island?

In the end they figure out a way to work it out and be together but if you want to find out how you have to get lost in paradise. 😉😏🌴🥵

@jalowbooks delivers the spice in this book just like the first one. 🌶

I lost interest in this book very quickly. Both main characters were boring and honestly not really the main focus of the book. We heard more about Olivia and Camryn’s relationships than we did Ivy and Alex. I had to force myself to finish the book when we got to the part about Nate and Camryn’s experience at the grand opening. I don’t understand why that was such a big focus because we already knew the entire story and how it ended from their book. Why were we not focused on Ivy and Alex? Even the last chapter “one year later” was not entirely focused on their story. I feel like this could have been such a good book if we would have seen more of an actual relationship between Ivy and Alex. There was just so much missing from their story and too much focus on other characters that they just got lost. I don’t know if I will continue with the next book when it is released since the first book was not the greatest for me either.

For being a book about a paradise sex club, it wasn’t as smutty as I thought it would be.
Don’t get me wrong, there is spice. But not smut

On top of that, the timeline overlap with book 1 and other books that I’m assuming are not even In this series, was redundant and boring.
I almost dnf’d at 95%. When the grand opening was taking place and I was reading book 1 again
Also if Nate almost died like they kept saying, why didn’t they bring him to the hospital? Or maybe they did in book 1 but not book 2???

This story is book 1 in different font. Same ex boyfriend issues. The fmc run away. . . . They need time
Both go to therapy (which is good, but same thing in both books)

I dunno. I won’t read more of this

Emotionally Beautiful

After reading the first book of this series and especially knowing about Alex and Ivy in that book, I was eager to read their story. I think when we read side characters in the book, there is something about them that pulls us towards the right, I feel like that especially reading series like this.

Tell me in the comments, Do you also feel like that? Do you ever feel you want to read side characters' stories or do you feel that if there is a book about them separately?

This book is all about, Alexander Lewis who is Nate's Brother from the first book, and Ivy Who is Camryn's Sister from the book, it's like the main characters' siblings to siblings Love. These Two Lewis brothers are so different, while Nate is who doesn't want a relationship same like Camryn and Alexander who is so romantic and finds love again and again with hope, and Ivy is out of love afraid to fall in love again because of her Ex.

Alex and Ivy, meet at Paradise Club, Ivy and her best friend come along with Camryn to the Paradise Club for Grand Opening and enjoy their holidays away from the work. And, Alex's meetings are pushed away for one week, so he also came to his brother club to enjoy his days there. They hit off with each other and but

Alex, man, he is just so patient and such a bookish boyfriend for sure, he also had a rough past with his ex, but he has hope for second love, he just encourages Ivy to try new things and explore her things while in the club, he is just so supportive of her. When things happen Ivy pushes away Ales for a better life for him, but he decided not to give up on her, he has hope and gave her the space and time she needed because he knows, she is the one and she will come to him.

And Ivy is a great interior designer, and mainly these two workaholics who fell in love with each other, this series is making me cry while reading Hot scenes and suddenly I ended up crying reading what happened with Ivy and the cute moments between them. There are so many twists and secrets in this book about Ivy and Her sister's family's connections to Nate and Alex's family but they never meet before until Paradise club happens.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

This book begins right around the middle of book one. I thought it was interesting to be getting the same story from a different point of view. However, there are several instances where we get the exact same scene. Having just finished book one the day before it was fresh in my mind so the repeated dialogue was a bit redundant. However, I can see how it would be useful if you waited a long time between books. One thing I was hoping for out of this multiple perspectives take on the story was more information on the major incident that happened to Cam and Nate in book one on the resort’s opening night. That whole thing plays out rather quickly for those characters seeing as Nate was totally out of it and Cam fled quickly. So it was nice to get more in formation in this book.

I thought Alex was a great MMC. His nickname is Mr. Romantic and he lives up to that. He falls first. He’s sweet, patient, kind, and a dirty talker who puts his feelings out there.

The FMC Ivy is very insecure. She’s got past trauma and lets it consume her. She doesn’t open up to anyone. She keeps everything close to her chest and runs scared say one point. I do not like insecure FMC’s who refuse to seek help or confide in anyone. These types of characters are just not for me. I prefer confident characters that speak their mind like Alex or Camryn.

Also, Ivy is so wrapped up in the drama between Olivia and Axel. Olivia seems soooooo annoying. I am glad I got a snippet of her drama because I now I know that story is not for me. I will skip the Dirty Texas series.

Overall, I liked this book for the look into book one but I didn’t like the FMC so it’s a no for me.

Sexy, sweet story

I have to admit, that like many reviews I’ve read, I can agree that I love this story just a little more than book 1 - just a little, but still I found it easier to relate to this couple.

In this story, we get to know Nate’s brother, Alex and Camryn’s sister, Ivy. If you have read book one and also any of the later books in the Dirty Texas series, you will already be aware of these two characters but this is their time to shine… and they shine pretty brightly.

Ivy is the shy and awkward younger sister of Camryn and best friend of Olivia. She’s definitely not as sexually confident as her sister, so when she’s invited to the Paradise resort, she’s not convinced she will like it. That is until she meets Alex.

He’s not at all like his brother when it comes to his view on love and relationships. Whereas Nate is not initially interested in commitment, Alex isn’t afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve. The instant connection between Alex and Ivy is sweet and genuine and despite Ivy’s lack of experience, they soon start exploring the pleasures of the resort, and each other.

But Ivy has lots of emotional baggage and it threatens to hold her back from accepting something potentially amazing between her and the gorgeously caring and compassionate man who is falling head over heels for her.

I really loved this story and once again, Low has cleverly linked the two books, building the bigger picture nicely.

Absolutely loved this couple and I hope we get to see more of them as the series continues.

I really enjoyed this story... Alex and Ivy are an unlikely pairing but their baggage together works perfectly. These two played a part in Paradise, so this book was like a but of a crossover of book one, but leaning more towards the lives of interior designer, Ivy Starr and silent partner and billionaire businessman Alex Lewis.

Ivy is the prude of the Starr siblings, she sees relationships being 2 people, so when she visits Paradise he mind is blown by what she sees and what she enters into... Opening herself to her inner sexual desires she finds a new and very adventurous woman, that had been hiding behind years of abuse. When she meets co- owner Alex, their chemistry scorches at first sight!

When Alex visited Paradise for its soft opening, he is taken by a stunning blonde hair woman... This man is sex personified, he no shrinking violet, he knows how the island works, but while he could pick and choose any women to warm his bed, one Ivy Starr is his choice. Very quickly the pair become inseparable. That one weekend starts a hot, sexy and crazed relationship!

While Ivy pushes away her past, Alex wants her future, but it’s not all smooth sailing.... Like book 1, there’s much drama but I loved it!

Amazing!! 🤍🤍

Lost in Paradise by JA Low is the 2nd book in the Paradise Club series which is currently incomplete.

Tropes:
✔️ Sexual Awakening
✔️ Vacation Fling
✔️ Kink/ Praise

JA Low is a one click author for me and the 1st book in the series (Paradise) is my all time favorite, so I was super excited when she dropped the 2nd out of nowhere!!!
I absolutely love Alex and Ivy.. the lengths Alex is willing to go in order to heal Ivy from her past is beautiful! Nate and Cam are my number one and I loved that I got to see them in this book along with some of JA Lows other couples.
This book is supplper hot!! I mean it does start off at a sex resort. So prepare for a little kink and a lot of spice.

““Hands on my desk, Ivy,” I say through gritted teeth. She does as she’s told and wiggles her peachy ass at me. My hand comes down with a hard slap which makes her squeal before I pull up her skirt.”

Welcome to Paradise, where our business is your pleasure.
Imagine an island escape where your wildest fantasies could become a reality?
I’ve heard what happens on the island stays on the island…
Or so I thought.
Until him.

*Fan's self* 🥵 Guys...welcome back to Club Paradise where you can explore any and all sexual fantasies. For those who haven't read the first book, here is a little summary. It's a club where people wear colored bands according what they are open to doing/having people do to them. Each of the suites has someone assigned to the guest to be available at any time... for anything 😉 .

This story is all about Ivy and Alex, the siblings of the couple in the first book. Ivy has been abused by her ex and afraid that she is broken and too drawn into herself to enjoy any of what the club has to offer. She is convinced by her sister to try to be open and boy does she get it. Alex is a serial romantic but has been beguiled by women in his past taking advantage of him. Ivy and Alex hit it off and Alex is so patient and loving with Ivy, allowing her to try everything she wants to at the club, but reassuring her that he will always be waiting for her. Ivy goes full out with the person assigned to her room (she has a threesome with OM). The club portion is only 50% of the book and the rest is Ivy and Alex navigating real life and balancing their work with trying to be in a relationship when both feel damaged.

This is the second book in the Paradise Club series by J.A. Low. It's a combination of friends with benefits, friends to lovers, spicy romance. It's told in a parallel timeline to book one (Nate and Camryn's story) which made it a little confusing for me trying to piece together where we were at in terms of the other storyline as well. (Almost wondering if they could be tandem read?)

Alex was a man who could certainly land in the top of Best Book Boyfriend Lists everywhere! He's hot, rich, confident, and also super intuitive and respectful. He recognizes Ivy is carrying trauma from a previous relationship and is so good at making her feel safe and in control over what they do.

I started reading this series to dip my toe a little more towards "darker" instead of just my spicy romcoms. But I think I might just be a spicy romcom girly. All the sharing and MM in this book wasn't for me.

Plus I felt like the general storyline and hot button markers for this one were cut and paste from the first one. Both single work driven main characters. Both women have previous relationship trauma. Both doing the friends with benefits thing. Both having a third act assault from the ex's.

This had all the sec and I am here for it! Wow! This was so steamy and from the jump!

Alex was so dreamy! He was so infatuated with Ivy and he did and said the sweetest things. For instance, when she got drunk one night, he took her makeup off for her and put her to bed. Ugh! Yes please! He also never let her talk poorly about herself or allowed her to feel broken. He was so good for her.

Ivy was so much stronger than she knew. She put up with so much from her ex yet she survived. She was even thriving. It was wonderful how she embraced her freedom and allowed herself to feel!

The second half of the book was very fast paced. It was a bit odd in comparison with their time on the island. There was a significant portion of the book dedicated to other characters so the first Paradise book should be read, as well the Dirty Texas series I feel like. Also, the epilogue has many spoilers - not sure how that sets us up for the next book.

I felt like the incident with Steve was rushed and the odd kidnapping/disappearance of Camyrn was super quick.
