A delightful rhyming story with fun illustrations and a great positive message!
A great read out loud picture book that they'll love reading, and you'll love reading with them!Milly frog is BORED! There just doesn’t seem to be any fun anywhere. At first she thinks going to the moon might be fun, but when she gets there she’s bored. So she heads off to Mars, and when she gets there……she’s still bored.
She doesn’t see the Martian fun fair right outside the window. When her friends finally convince her to look, she discovers there is all kinds of fun to be had everywhere, hiding in plain sight!
“So she made a decision that she thought was wise. From that day forward she’d open her eyes and with every new day, be it cloudy or bright she would look for the good things that hide in plain sight.”

I really enjoyed reading this book. It whimsical and a good, short story about a kid who complained about being dull and was taught to take a closer look at your surroundings and you'll find a lot of interesting things to do.
This was helpful for me as I cannot read long books due to my short- term memory loss, so I'm stuck reading children's books. The rhymes in this book made it interesting to read.
FROGS IN SPACE by Lisette Starr, illustrations by Gustyawan is a story of sisters Milly and Lilly, and their friends Piggle and Shog.
Milly the frog is bored but ultimately depressed and nothing makes her happy. She wants an adventure, so her friends take Milly on a journey but she remains unhappy. Another journey further afar brings Milly some happiness but her return home reveals she could have found just as much fun at home.
This book is a bit of a disappointment. It is the second book by this author with a questionable story line. Is the book about childhood depression? I am not sure but Milly the frog is unhappy; apparently depressed, and her friends are desperate to make her happy but nothing seems to work until Milly returns home and ‘realizes’ maybe everything she was looking for was right in front of her.
Recommended for ages 3-8 but I was not a fan, and I don’t recommend reading to vulnerable children.
Lilly's sister Milly Frog is bored so Lilly's friend Shog the dog and Piggle the pig take all of them in a space ship to the Moon and Mars to cheer Milly up. It isn't until Shog has a talk with Milly about looking at things differently that she begins to see things differently and starts to enjoy what she sees.
My grandson got a kick out of a dog named "Shog" and about how "blue" means sad. He laughed and observed that Milly is blue, whether she's sad or happy! We enjoyed the fun story and it also taught about how being bored is something you can solve if you just look around. The pictures are cute, too.
Frogs in Space is a fun and imaginative picture book with a quirky story that kids will enjoy. The concept of frogs going on a space adventure is creative and entertaining, and the illustrations are colorful and lively. While the plot felt a little chaotic at times, it’s overall an engaging read for young readers who enjoy playful and silly stories.
I downloaded this on Kindle when I forgot to bring a nighttime story to read to my 5 yo son at bedtime. It's a very cute story with good illustrations. My son was very happy with the book
I like how there are lots of books, there are lots of genres and how you can search up the book you want instead of looking through all the books.I also like how you split up all the books into their genre.
Lilly Frog and her friend Shog visit Lilly's sister Milly. Milly is not happy with anything where she lives. It is boring and everything that Lilly and Shog suggest are not exciting enough for Milly. What will change Milly's mind?
This book was cute and it’s good for early elementary age students. The pictures were very good descriptions of what was going on in the story. This book relays a good message for if you’re feeling bored or down, go explore and get out of your comfort zone!
This picture book is full of charming rhymes, a fun story, a life lesson about positivity, and endearing illustrations. A pleasant picture book just right for a little one at bedtime. It was decided that we needed to read it twice in a row, and that hasn't happened since Hop on Pop.
