You know that feeling—the one where you tell yourself it’s a terrible idea but you know you’re going to do it anyway?
Even though you know that this man isn’t just your father’s best friend who’s twenty years your senior…he’s your new boss.

I’m the good girl that’s always done the right thing and yet here I am, fresh out of grad school feeling directionless in life and love.
So at the suggestion of my once estranged billionaire father, I agree to an interview at his best friend’s company.

The moment I step into Beckham Archer’s office, I recognize "Mr. Daddy Issues."
The mysterious, older man I shamelessly flirted with only a few nights ago…the same man who left my number in a crumpled ball on the bar top before disappearing.

The power he possesses drives me absolutely wild, making me want to cross the boundaries he demanded we put into place.

Soon, I’m kneeling before him as he shows me all the ways a man should please me.
Dominating me.
Controlling me.
Allowing me how to let go under his command but with one caveat...he's not my happily ever after.

"I won’t cuddle you or hold you or kiss you good night. All I can offer you is a fantasy."

But no amount of warnings that he’s the wicked man who will break my heart can scare me away.
No amount of reminders that he’s old enough to be my father can deter me from wanting him.

I realize there’s more to this man than a billion dollar empire and a wall around his heart.
He listens to me, offering to mentor me and providing me the guidance I lacked in my childhood.

As hard as I try to keep my heart out of it, the harder I fall.
I want more than the fantasy...I want it all, even at the risk of losing everything.

But our little secret doesn’t stay quiet for long and soon, my father finding out is the least of my worries…it’s the secret that Beckham’s been hiding from me.

One thing I’ve learned about Beckham Archer—he’s the type of man that doesn’t wait for people to do something; if he wants it, he makes it happen.

The type of man that has me wanting to break all the rules.
The type of man that can make me beg for it.

Beg For It is a STEAMY standalone romance complete with a happily ever after and no cheating. Trust me, this man can make any woman...beg for it.

Spicy age gap, dad’s best friend, boss that was a good read. Bronté is in her 20’s while Beckham is in his 40’s. Brontè attempts to pick up an older guy at a bar one night not realizing it’s her dad’s best friend and her possible boss. Beckham realizes who she is as soon as he hears her name. Once they are working together the tension is too much for them to handle and go from there.

Loved the characters and the push and pull of this relationship!

I love when a story has those emotional moments that make you really feel it, live it. The ones that either make you cry tears of joy or sadness; can make you feel anger, fear or anxiety on behalf of the characters. This story does that. In addition to the kinks or obstacles thrown into this relationship (caused by an ex), there is a really touching scene with the h and her father who she was estranged from most of her life and was only reunited in the past 2 years, so still a developing relationship.

This is a story of falling in love in spite of the fact that many would consider it taboo for more than one reason. It's about discovering that you want something you never thought you did or would and ultimately fighting for it against all odds.

My only complaint, and that's probably because I'm the complete opposite, is that sometimes Authors make their characters too pessimistic. Amid all the positive things, the characters pick up on the one thing that might be construed as negative and don't see the positive in it. I guess I feel that way because I've always been the kind of girl who finds the positive in everything, the one who always puts it all out there and if it was meant to be, it would, and if not, then I could move on knowing I tried. Probably a good thing I'm not writing these stories or obviously they'd be really short! Lol!

Overall, I did love this story. I loved the characters and the push and pull of this relationship as it goes from scratching an itch to full blown love all while dealing with obstructions that get in the way. It had all the feels and was a great emotional ride. 5 stars.

I wish I could rate this higher considering I've liked all the billionaire boss romances previously published by Alexis Winter but I felt like this book had the right trope but the wrong development. It sounds harsh and I wish it wasn't but it is what it is.

The forbidden relationship trope meets age gap is what caught my eye when I found this book, and based on how much I liked Those Three Words, Dirty Little Secret and Just This Once, Beg for it had given me higher expectations but it fell flat. My review will contain spoilers so if you don't want the plot to be spoiled, stop right here and just know that this was just an okay book for me.

Breaking it down to pros and cons...

Pros:
* HEA
* Beckham has a Dom personality
* Age gap / Forbidden relationship tropes

Cons:
* Underwhelming development of said tropes
* Felt like Brönte could have been a stronger FMC

4/4.5 ⭐️

Alexis Winter will have you falling deep into the feels when it comes to following the story of Brontë Spencer and Beckham Archer in this sweet, yet steamy AF, Forbidden, Age Gap Romance Beg For it.
Told through the perspectives of the duo.

The narrative definitely led you on quite a whirlwind, mostly due to the Forbidden element that played a major part in Brontë and Beckham’s life.
Whilst it was fun and games seeing them share banter, going back and forth with their flirting.
At the same time, there was some serious times when it came to the exploration of deeper in-depth moments that brought forth intensity from the issues divulged. On top of the surprise twists that came about.
Paving way for emotionally charged moments, an array of emotions came pouring out left and right from each page turn.
Ultimately keeping you gripped onto the book, seeing where exactly Alexis would continue to take Brontë and Beckham on what would turn out to be quite an adventurous journey overall.

When Brontë and Beckham first meet there were underlining currents flowing.
But when the story further progressed with more interactions building up between them, it led to full on blown up explosive fireworks.
Whether it be from the mutual attraction they shared. Or all the sexual tension that eventually led to some sizzling, uninhibited, lustful, sexy steam.
These two definitely brought the fire! And of course romance too, given the sweet, loving and passionate moments they shared. Proving that their chemistry was more than just physical.

Well safe to say Alexis Winter delivered again with this great read that was Beg For It.
If Contemporary Romance is your go to with a dash of Age Gap and sprinkle of Forbidden Love, then look no further because this book will not steer you wrong.

Oh My…. holy freaking hotness!!!

I had to take a few breaths after finishing this book before I could unscramble my brain. Holy moly! This book hit all the feels. And I have to give a HUGE shout out to Alexis Winter, she NEVER fails to deliver! I know when I pick up one of her books (and I own a great many) I am guaranteed ALL that I am looking for in a good book. The men are hot as Hades as are the women, but the brains and the billions in both sexes is amazing along with all the sizzling fires between the characters. The descriptions of the locations and views are also spot on! It has never failed that when I pick up an Alexis Winter book I know exactly what I am getting, with a few little surprises mixed in. Would most definitely offer more stars if allowed.

An awesome age gap ROMANCE, filled with suspense and crazy HOT!

If you are looking for a romance that will capture your imagination and keep it completely through the end of the novel, then author Alexis Winter’s new novel, BEG FOR IT, should be your next romance purchase! When Beckham and Bronte meet, they know two things; their instantaneous, mutual attraction is off-the-charts intense, and is something they want to act on right now. However, as there always are in any great romance, complications arise, and that spine-tingling attraction must take a back seat . . . until it can’t anymore. With twists that will keep you focused, characters who keep you invested, and plotlines so full of suspense you just have to read one chapter more, BEG FOR IT should be your next romance. It is easy to read, is five fiery flames HOT, and has just enough kink to make it a novel for those 18 and older. Grab your copy of BEG FOR IT, a box of tissues, and a cool drink this weekend, and have a staycation in New York - Alexis Winter style!! 😉.

This was a Forbidden, age gap trope.
Story about Brontè and Beckham.
This was just brilliant and gave you all the feels.
The butterfly feeling and the heart breaking along with the characters..
I've always loved Alexis' books and her style of writing.
Beckham is her dad's best friend. They have about 20 years age gap.
But Beckham is just deliciously hot!! Before she knew who he was, she hit on him at a bar. But he walked away.
Next day she finds out why he walked away. He is her new boss and her dad's friend.
They try and keep it professional as it is Forbidden desires.
Their chemistry is so hot you can feel it through the book. Eventually their barriers break down and give in, each time being the last. But life is never simple. Vindictive ex make things harder for them and they don't have a chance of having a future.
It was so sad watching them break down to pieces.
You must read it and see how things pan out and can they get over their heartbreak. Beckham is a proper alpha dom in the bedroom 🔥.

What is there to like about this read? Everything! The storyline is well developed, well written with twists and turns that will keep you interested. Bronte has graduated from college with a degree in finance. She has agreed to an interview with Beckham, a friend of her father’s who has a successful financial firm. Bronte is nervous but confident, outspoken, direct and wants to stand on her own. At the end of the interview Beckham hires Bronte. Beckham is intrigued by her, can’t get her out of his mind. She is smart. He promotes her to handle a company merger. They find they have a lot in common as they get to know each other. Bronte feels the pull toward Beckham; but he is her boss and she will not make a move to jeopardize her job - until the kiss. A spur of the moment kiss. Now what? Both Bronte and Beckham are attracted to each other and they try to fight it — but can’t. The characters in this story jump off the pages and get your heart thumping and you feel their magnetic pull. The main characters make the story come to life - a little sweet and a lot of spice. You will feel the sizzle, the steam, the passion and the heat. It makes for a truly dynamite read!.

Love in the Office

Beautiful, intelligent, and loving Brontë Spencer is ready to make her mark on the world. As the only daughter of parents who divorced when she was 7, Mom, Nadia Spencer, and dad, Jonas Ramsay had been students when the met, fell in love and got pregnant. While Jonas was not thrilled and certainly not emotionally ready to be a husband and dad, he yielded to circumstances. But he had a company to build and a reputation to establish, and so while he could financially support his young family, his mind and heart, and eventually his physical body, were rarely at home.

So, when Nadia discovered that he was having an affair, she asked for a divorce. She informed her former college sweetheart that if he couldn’t invest emotionally in his family, he didn’t need to invest his money. As a skilled accountant, she was more than capable of providing for herself and their daughter. And so, not only did Nadia provide for her daughter financially, she also introduced Brontë at a young age to mom’s passion—work with non-profits—helping empower individuals achieve their goals by sharing her own financial skills, and at time funds, to help individuals move out of poverty.

Sadly, financial support was really all Jonas had to offer his young daughter as he gave most of his energy to his other young child—his company, Ramsey Consulting. So, while Brontë grew up with a full time working mom and an occasional dad, over time it became clear that she was their daughter—bright and attractive, she was an intelligent, engaged and engaging young girl. And, while she and dad had time together, even as a child, she was well-aware of Jonas as a part-time dad, but full-time CEO.

So, it came as no surprise when as a teen, she took her mom’s last name and dropped her dad’s. Now, with the financial intellect of her parents and her own natural beauty and engaging personality, she is ready to step into the world of finance. But, what she really wants to pursue is the type of work she saw as her mom’s passion and gift, empowering others to understand how to manage their funds to launch their own dreams.

Now, as a 24-year-old adult and a recent graduate with a masters’ degree in finance, Brontë can recognize that she is indeed the child of both parents—her dad, the wealthy and powerful CEO of Ramsey Consulting who casts a long shadow in Chicago’s financial world, and her deceased mom, a woman who felt compelled to share with others in need, providing Brontë the example of using her financial skills to inform and help others. But, to achieve her dream of helping others, Brontë, with the support of her dad. He arranged for her to intern with his best friend, Beckham Archer, a man whom he had mentored when Beckham entered the financial world of Chicago. What neither daughter nor best friend who have never met expected was to unexpectedly and unknowingly to meet and sparks to fly. So, when Brontë and Beckham realize that the flirtation and sparks that they experienced at the bar with a stranger has the potential of continuing in the workplace unknowingly arranged by Jonas Ramsey, they vow to remain professional. But, over the days and nights ahead, can they remain professional?

Alexis Winter once more engages the reader in a delightful romance of an older man and the smart, clever younger woman who wins his heart as she strengthens his company’s bottom line. The author provides the reader with a thoughtful romance filled with unexpected connections and results.

I received an ARC from Booksprout, but always purchase a romance by Alexis Winter.

Young woman falling for her father's best friend is quite a common concept in books but Alexis Winter has run with this and has created a beautiful love story.
OMG, Bronte couldn't believe her eyes when she saw her new boss, the same ruggedly handsome older man who she had flirted with in a bar, the same man that had shunned her by leaving her number screwed up on the bar, how could life get more embarrassing ?
Bronte Ramsey was at a loose end, she had finished her degree in forensic accounting and needed a job, her relationship with her father, billionaire Jonas Ramsey, was still tentative although he was doing his best to welcome her into his new family. Bronte had hated him, he had deserted her and her mother but after her mother's death and at her mothers request Bronte had started to forge a relationship with him, his new wife and their two children.
Jonas's best friend, Beckham Archer, billionaire CEO of a finance company was looking for a PA, Bronte would be perfect for the job..........or would she ?
From the start there was a strong attraction between Bronte and Beckham but nothing could come of it, he was twenty years her senior, he didn't want a wife, he didn't want children and her father would kill him if he found out the thoughts he was having about his daughter, he must keep his distance from Bronte.........but she was in the next office, she was beautiful, she flirted with him, she made him laugh and she was good at her job, the chemistry was palpable.
This story follows the rocky relationship between Bronte and Beckham, the misunderstandings, the agony of repressed feelings, the fear of her father discovering their secret, a devastating revelation from Beckham's ex that sends them both into a tailspin.
This story has a gamut of emotions, the characters are very likeable and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Incredibly spicy, Winter delivers another deliciously addictive romance with Beg for It. The book begins with Bronte agreeing to interview with her father’s best friend for a job. The same night she finds out about the interview, she and a couple girlfriends go out, and Bronte unknowingly meets Beckham before they know who each other are. He leaves abruptly after seeing her name and bruises her ego, but then she later winds up working for him. Working together as closely as they do with a fierce attraction simmering between them leads to some very interesting moments and soon they’re far more than just boss/employee. With a lot working against them, especially the fact that he’s so much older and Bronte’s father’s friend, will they be able to make it work, or will it end before it ever really begins?

Beckham and Archer’s chemistry is off the charts, and it makes for some incredibly tense and then spicy instances. They’re both so completely attracted to one another but are slow to act on anything, and that apprehension made it so I didn’t want to put this book down. I love the drama inherent in their taboo relationship, but then add in a certain outside factor and it all gets trickier in a really good way.

I enjoyed the characters themselves, too. Bronte’s cute albeit slightly naïve sometimes, and I liked how sure of herself she was at work. But Beckham stole the show with his commanding persona and sweeter side. His older boss character could’ve come off as nothing but a gruff billionaire or whatever, but that’s not the vibe I got from him at all as the story progressed. He turned out to be more than I assumed he might be, and I found myself empathizing with him despite his flaws.

Steamy with a good plotline, this book is another great addition to the series. If you’re in the mood for a romance with some forbidden topics, then you’re not going to want to miss Beckham and Bronte’s book.

Brontë never really had a relationship with her dad. He was too busy growing his empire. After her mom passed away she is now trying to repair her relationship. Her dad threw her a graduation party. Her dad wants to do anything and everything to help her. She refuses to go to work for his company because she didn’t want people to think she got the job because of her dad. He past her resume to her friend Beckham. After her graduation party she felt overwhelmed and afterwards she stopped at a bar for a couple of drinks with her friends. While getting drinks she saw a man at the bar and she started flirting with him. She did give him her name and number. After dropping off the drinks to her friend she turned around and he was gone. She found that he had left her number crumpled up on the bar, she felt deflated.
Beckham knew who Brontë was immediately by her name and that is why he left the bar. She was his best friends daughter. When she showed up for the interview she was shocked to see that Beckham was the man at the bar. He offered her a job as his assistant. He couldn’t stop thinking about her and before she even started he added more responsibilities to help him with some of his cases. Even though he tried to stay away from her and told her as such they were always flirting with each other. He always told her that he didn’t want anything, no long term, no relationship, no wife or children. However the pull was too much. On a work trip to Vegas and after a few drinks after a successful business meeting one thing lead to another and they thought what ever happened in Vegas will stay there. That doesn’t happen.
What will happen if her father finds out? Will he ever change his mind about relationship?
I really enjoyed this book. I really connected with Brontë because I too didn’t have a relationship with me dad growing up but she got lucky and was able to reconcile with her dad. Another great book by Alexis.

Alexis did it again with this one. Age gap, Daddy's best friend(forbidden), office romance. Plus, a tiny touch of some dom/sub action but it's subtle, some good filthy dirty talk in the bedroom that could make you blush if reading in public. All of this goodness in one book you can't ask for anything better.

Beckham Archer and Brontë Spencer are the main characters in this book, and they're absolutely contagious I had a hard time putting this book down. Brontë has a strained relationship with her dad that might lead to some daddy issues. She takes a job with her dad best friend Beckham who she tried to pick up the night before her interview not knowing who he was. There was instant chemistry between them, but once Beckham recognized her name, he left the bar without and explanation or her number.

Beckham himself has some issues when it comes to commitments as he didn't have a great childhood and didn't want to be like his deadbeat dad. He swore to himself that he'd never get married or have kids. Until he met Brontë that is, for the first time in his life he actually thought those things could be possible. The plot twists of course have to be a jilted ex-girlfriend who wanted those exact things with Beckham, and the sneaking around behind Brontës dads back. They swore it was just a fling, that there would be no feelings or getting attached but of course that all backfired and they almost lost each other. The pain they both felt while trying to figure things out was heartbreaking and heartwarming to say the least.

Alexis loves to put you through the ringer when it comes to pulling on the heartstrings and that's what I love about her writing. You actually can feel the pain her characters have to go through before they get their HEA.

I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review.
This book...OMG...was so good. It’s an age-gap romance, dealing with a past bad family history for the couple. Alexis Winter does a beautiful job, of dealing with this romance, with great characters, a very moving story full of some tearful episodes, and I highly recommend this book.
Beckham is the CEO of his financial company, single, handsome, and averse to relationships. He is in need of a PA, and his close friend recommends his daughter. A daughter who has just graduated from college, and uncertain about what she wants in her future.
Bronte is a young woman, just graduated from college, and at loose ends. She was raised by a loving mother, but her father nearly never saw her. The death of her mother, forces her to try to develop a relationship with her father. A strained relationship exists between them, because she doesn’t trust him. He wants her to follow in his financial profession, but she is uncertain, and she agrees to work with his best friend, Beckham.
Meeting in an uncomfortable situation at a bar, Beckham leaves with not taking Bronte’s phone number. Bronte goes to meet her new boss, and realizes that this is the man, that she tried to hook-up with at the bar. This couple begins an attraction vs resistance relationship, but their feelings towards each other continues to grow.
Several business situations occur, with Beckham coming to Bronte’s rescue. A hidden relationship develops, but a ex of Beckham, causes trouble, and misunderstandings occur. Beckham confronts Bronte’s father, and tells him the truth about his relationship with Bronte. After everything is resolved, Beckham and Bronte admit their true feelings for each other, and finally obtain their HEA. The book ends in a very heartfelt epilogue.

Sometimes these age gap romances lose their appeal when it comes to stories. However, with this one it didn’t feel like that at all. Beckham definitely didn’t act like he was 46 years old and the dynamic between him and Brontë didn’t feel like he was 20 years older than her. Their relationship felt like I was experiencing it with someone my age and I think with these age gap books, that’s the goal. They don’t want to make it obvious there is a big gap between them. At the end of the day it’s how the person makes you feel and the connection you have with them, age really is just a number. Sure, on paper it looks off but if you really love someone then it doesn’t matter. This book showed just that with their chemistry, connection and how they made each other feel. It was interesting to read about someone who had the prowess of a younger person and drive. I think in Beckham’s position he had to be. Brontë was drawn to how powerful he made her feel and his support he showed her. He was always behind her and believed in what she stood for and her drive that matched his own. I couldn’t put the book down, it kept my interest the whole time and I enjoyed reading how their relationship grows. I say this in most of my reviews, because it’s true. I am constantly impressed by how their relationship gets to each point and the passion explodes. There was lots of this in the story and I was here for it. There was explosive moments and there was also tender moments. At one point I even felt like maybe Bronte’s father wasn’t what he appeared when questionable things started showing up. Being that a big part of the theme was re-connecting with her father, I can see why the author didn’t want to touch that and the issue ended up being something else entirely. Overall, very enjoyable read and I thoroughly liked where the story went, so this gets a 5 for me.

Alexis never seems to disappoint! Beg For It is another sexy albeit taboo romance from Alexis Winter's Billionaire Boss series. The fun thing about the books in this particular series is that they are not interconnected and are in fact 100% stand alones but that they have some common threads to them- so it makes sense to group them together.

Brontë and Beckham's story is an exciting mix of...
💋 Workplace/Boss-Employee Romance
💋 Large Age Gap
💋 Best Friend's Daughter
💋 Perpetual Bachelor catching feels
💋 Semi-innocent FMC exploring some kinks 😉
and other twists and turns that just add to the fabulousness of this story.

Beckham and Brontë brought some heat! Even when Beckham was trying to keep from crossing too many lines the attraction, intensity and the tensions in their flirting or general proximity was on point. Though more than that I really enjoyed the easiness in their companionship just as much. These two had a lot of commonalities that just made them fit and make sense together. Had the fact that Beckham was almost 20 years Brontë's senior been one of the prevalent issues in the story I could have forgotten that there was an age gap- they simply just made sense together.

Brontë may be young and a little naive, but she was incredibly intelligent, sweet and kind hearted. But she also harbors a few emotional scars that keeps her guarded. I loved following along as Beckham slowly gave into his possessiveness of Brontë. She turned so much of his life upside down- more than the shadows from his past ever could.

I really wish that there was another couple chapters to this story. I really would have loved a little more exploration into Brontë's father Jonas' reaction/interactions with her and his best friend starting a relationship especially since it felt like there was a lot of build up to him finding out but overall I really enjoyed this book.

Beg For It was about 25-year-old Bronte Spencer (Ramsay), a recent grad school graduate, and 45-year-old (the author had the FMC say his age was 45, but later in the story, the MMC stated he was about to turn 47. Seriously? The book took place in a matter of weeks...not years.) Beckham Archer, the CEO of Archer Financial, and her father, Jonas Ramsay's BFF.
I'm not going to give a long review. Suffice it to say this book was a long, drawn-out story that could have ended ten chapters earlier. The two main characters met in a bar where she gave him her name and phone number, only to realize he disappeared after wadding up the paper with her info on it and leaving it on the bar (a dangerous thing to do since it had her full name and number, and he just left it there for anyone to pick up, right?). The following day, she learned that not only was he her father's BFF...he was possibly going to be her new boss should he choose to hire her.
The FMC was a girl who knew what she wanted and went after it. The MMC was a man who knew what he didn't want and made certain all his lady friends knew up front where they stood with him before he started any kind of relationship with them.
The angst and drama were over the top in this book, and not always in a good way. The conflict and push-pull between the two main characters were, at times, convoluted and uncalled for. Other times, they were just mediocre. However, for their ages, it seemed neither one of the main characters was mature enough for the roles they were given.
I was disappointed and could only give the story a two-star rating.

If you enjoy a dad’s best friend storyline then do not hesitate in reading this one! Alexis brought all the heat in this age gap, forbidden, workplace romance. She made this one extra filthy and I am here for it all! Beckham is Bronte’s father’s best friend and her dad is the one who throws them together when he pushes Bronte to apply for a job at Beckham’s company.

Bronte and Beckham were hot together and it was clear from their first interaction before they knew who each other was, that there was something between them. Forbidden or not there was no way they could stay away from each other. While I am a little tired of all these heroes who are anti-relationships/marriage/family, I do enjoy watching those heroes completely change their mind when they fall head over heels for the heroine.

I enjoyed how there were secondary storylines in this book that added to the overall story. Bronte has a very strained relationship with her dad and it was interesting to watch how all that unfolded. I kept going back and forth on whether or not I thought he was a good guy. And of course there was some crazy drama brought in with Beckham’s ex. All of it was done so well and brought lots of surprises to the story.

This was very well written with lots of spice and lots of story to be told. The characters showed growth throughout the book. And there was drama and excitement that kept me very entertained and unable to put the book down. This one really pulled at my heartstrings.

Bronte Spencer just graduated from graduate school. Her parents met in college, had Bronte when they were 25 years old and got divorced when she was 7 years old. Her mother died 3 years ago and made Bronte promise to give her father a chance. It took her 2 years but in the last year, she has tried to get to know Jonas Ramsey, his wife Chantelle and their 2 sons. BTW – Jonas is a billionaire.

Beckham Archer is 20 years older than Bronte and her father’s best friend. Beckham needs an executive assistant so Jonas asks Beckham to hire Bronte.
The night of her graduation party, Bronte and her two best friends go into a bar near her father’s house. While getting drinks, Bronte throws caution to the wind and flirts with a hot older guy at the bar. She gives him her number. After delivering the drinks to her friends, she turns back towards the bar but the hot guy is gone and her phone number is crumpled up on the bar.

The next day, Bronte walks in for her interview with Beckham and is embarrassed because there stands the hot guy from the bar.

Now that they know who each other is, will they be able to keep things strictly professional? Will Beckham teach Bronte about more than business? What will happen if Jonas finds out?

I liked trying to figure out which one, Bronte or Beckham would beg for it.

I discovered Beg For It through the Stuff You Kindle promotion, and honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this story. As Brontë graduates and, instead of working for her father, she decides to interview for an administrative position at the finance company owned by her father's best friend, Beckham Archer.

But before the interview, Brontë meets Beckham in a bar and, feeling bold, decides to hit on him. To her disappointment, he walks away without a word.

The next day, Brontë learns the reason for his abrupt departure answer. And after having a conversation, they agree to keep their relationship professional, especially considering the nearly twenty-year age difference and the fact that he is a close friend of her father's.

Yet, despite their agreement, they can't help but flirt and become close friends, with sexual tension simmering beneath the surface. Then whilst away on business, they finally give in to temptation.

However, Beckham makes it clear that he can never be Brontë's "happily ever after." And for a while, she accepts this. But as time passes, their feelings begin to change. Unfortunately, Beckham's ex isn't quite ready to let him go and will do anything to keep him in her grasp.

And with drama, heartbreak, and plenty of spice! This was a delightful read, and I look forward to exploring more books by this author.

I wholeheartedly recommend Beg For It to everyone!

I enjoy Winter's writing style with her ability to humanize the characters and bring them to life. The writing is very descriptive and makes you feel the characters are people you know. I was hooked immediately on this age gap, father's best friend romance because of the heroine, Bronte. She was driven to do things on her own and wanted to make her own way in the world. Her life goal was to help others. She has a brilliant mind and is exceptional at her job. She is strong, yet vulnerable which makes her a very lovable character.

Beckham, aka dad's best friend, strives to do the right thing but with as much as he ran hot and cold frustrated me, it frustrated Bronte even more. I did like the gruff and sensitive sides of his personality but wanted to throttle him more than once.

Silas and Jenson were adorable and a breath of fresh air. They added levity to the story. Chantelle was a supportive character and totally opposite of the stereotype one hears about a step-mom.

The road to Bronte and Beckham's HEA is a really rough one but that makes it even sweeter in the end. I recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre or if you just want a good romance to read.

Brontë just graduated and her dad is trying to make her use her degree in finance. He gives her the option of working for him or his best friend. She agrees to interview with his friend. When she is drinking at the bar with her friends, she sees this very attractive man and gives him her name and number she goes back to her friends just to realize he leaves the number on the bar and leaves. Ego a bit hurt she forgets and goes to her interview the next day. Lo and behold the guy at the bar is Beckham Archer, her new boss and her dads best friend. The agree to forgetting about that and start to work together. Little moments they just bring up the number situation and he states that he would have taken her home. They have to go to Vegas for a business meeting and they agree what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas one night. What happens when things don’t stay in Vegas? What happens when feelings get involved? What happens when ex’s and dads come into play?

When I tell you this book had me in a chokehold, I’m telling you I couldn’t put it down! I was obsessed! Beckham’s dirty talk was EVERYTHING! The mouth on this man *swoon! They hadn’t even done anything and he would say things and do things like lift her chin and I was all in love with him! Alexis killed it with this book!!!

Wow! What an amazing book! An age gap, dad’s best friend story that is HOT! Brontë gets a job interview at her fathers best friend, Beckham’s, company, but is shocked to find out he is the man she flirted with in the bar with just nights before. There is an instant connection between Brontë and Beckham however with Beckham never wanting any type of relationship and Brontë’s father being best friends with Beckham, they both know nothing can happen between them. However with the chemistry absolutely explosive, it is only a matter of time before they both give in to their feelings. However when feelings start to develop between them things start to get complicated, especially when Beckhams ex-girlfriend announces she is pregnant with his baby.
This book will have you on an emotional rollercoaster throughout and had me in tears at parts. With lots of hot, steamy, passion, this book will have you on fire! A fantastic book with fantastic characters and a gripping storyline, this is a definite must read!.

Super steamy, age-gap, father’s best friend and boss romance…Whew! You’ll beg for it!
Oh. My. Word. There are a few scenes in this book that will have you looking for some privacy. Ms. Winter can undoubtedly write some of the most sensuous and titillating scenes. Love the cover. My perfect vision of Beckham Archer, Brontë’s boss and the man she hits on in a bar before she knows who he is. Brontë is going to have a birthday soon where she’ll turn 25yo. She has reconciled with her father after many years and truly loves his new family, which is a really nice touch. Her father, Jonas has asked his good friend, 45yo Beckham to give Brontë a job to get her feet wet in the world of finance. There will be chemistry and sizzling interactions between Beckham and Brontë but not without angst.
This book is a must-read if you like sizzle with your romance. Every book I read by Ms. Winter I think is the best she’s done, no difference with this book. So many good things: great plot, lots of steam, happy ending and so much more before then. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout.

Giving Him A New Lease On Life -
Bronte was really happy to get a job with her dad’s best friend, but what she didn’t expect was the instant attraction she felt for him the moment they met. Beckham had long ago decided to never get married or have children, but he knew he was in serious trouble the moment he laid eyes on Bronte. Their chemistry was palpable, but they tried everything to keep their relationship platonic and professional.

Unfortunately, their whirlwind romance came to an abrupt stop when life changing news was revealed, which caused friction in their budding relationship. However, Beckham’s heart knew what it wanted, so he decided to fight for what he wanted, which helped them overcome the obstacles in his path to getting his forever happiness.

The story showed that age gap romances can work beautifully, if you have the right two people in the relationship. The story was really moving and emotionally challenging at times, but it left me feeling really wonderful by the time finished reading the book. I highly recommend you take a chance to read this awesome book.

Beg For It is an age gap and father's best friend romance. It features Bronte and Beckham. Bronte has an estranged relationship with her father and after Bronte graduates he offers her a job at his company. She doesn’t want that so instead he asks his friend Beckham to take her on at his company. When she arrives for the interview with Beckham, he turns out to be the guy she tried to pick up in a bar the night before. There was instant chemistry between them but Beckham left after recognising her name. Now they Know who each other are they both agree nothing can happen between them but that's not how feelings work. But when feelings develop an ex girlfriend of Beckham arrives causing trouble for the pair.

I loved this story, the forbidden story of Father's best friend with great characters and a story you can't put down. If you want a book with lots of emotions, steamy passion, age gap and Father's best friend then this book is for you.

This is a brilliant read and I could not put it down. After graduating, Bronte decides to throw caution to the wind and approaches a hot man in a bar. After some flirting she gives him her number only to find he left it on the bar. Bronte is disappointed but all becomes clear when the next day she is face to face with him – her new boss Beckham, who is also her Dad’s best friend. The mutual attraction is clear but they cannot act on it as Bronte has only just reconciled with her Dad after years of not speaking. As the working days go by they develop a healthy mutual respect towards each other but cannot deny the attraction. It becomes too much and they find it hard to resist. The sex is off the charts and as much as they try to stay away from each other they can’t. When Beckham’s ex shows up hell breaks loose and what they have carefully tried to build could come crashing down. I loved this book. It was a fantastic story with twists and turns and likeable characters. Highly recommended.

What happens when the hot older man you hit on at the bar the night of your college graduation turns out to be your fathers best friend? At 24, Brontë is just starting to have a relationship with her father after he had an affair and walked away from Brontë and her mother when she was 7. A promise to her dying mother to give her father a chance and build a relationship with him and her half brothers changes everything. Beckham leaves the bar as soon as he finds out the woman who is flirting with him is his best friends daughter who isn’t aware of who he is and that the very next day she will be starting a job as his assistant. These two have a lot of obstacles to overcome, the least of which is the 20+ Year age gap. There is plenty of heat with dominance, a lot of jealousy, miscommunication, and an extra twist that complicates things even further. Eventually they get their hea.

A sexy, steamy, forbidden romance!!!
This is an age gap/forbidden romance as Brontë is 24 and Beckham in his late forties on top of being her dad’s best friend!
The chemistry between Brontë and Beckham was instant and undeniable. I loved that they were so into each other that while they knew they shouldn’t pursue anything, they just couldn’t help themselves. I really liked that they truly did develop a friendship and how she trusted him to ask his advice, and he in turn was genuine in wanting to help.
I honestly couldn’t tear my eyes away when they had steamy scenes! And boy, some of them were off the charts HOT!!! There were also quite a few scenes that I found quite moving.
I really liked that Chantelle, Brontë’s stepmom was there for her. She walked a fine line between being motherly and a friend, and she executed it perfectly!.
