The Beatitudes
The Beatitudes is the opening teaching of Jesus. This teaching builds a bridge from the Old Testament to the New Testament that Jesus brought us. Upon a mountain that any man could come up to, the Christ begins to reveal the Father to us. The fact that the law had brought us to this point was still very valid but it was limited in that it cannot take us into the Kingdom of Heaven. It is the grace of God that opens the Kingdom for us to go in and possess and blessed is the man that does so.Jesus opens by giving us the keys to unlock every door within the Kingdom and showing that He alone only possesses the one single key to get into the Kingdom but the keys of the Kingdom are ours to use.Once into the Kingdom God withholds nothing from His children, He is the good, good Father.
