An Abductee from Earth Caged in Darkness. When just taking out the trash lands Lynn abducted by alien men and about to be sold at an alien bazaar she is close to losing hope. But when the powerful, clever, and scaled Divak saves her from her dark cell and sheds new light on a way for her to get back home, he stirs deep desires within her. Desires she comes to fear he will not return.A Star Federation OfficerDivak Solgar was the top of his game and in line for his next big promotion. But when he raids the infamous smuggler’s shadow bazaar he finds a creature from the forbidden reaches of the federated galaxies, a female human. Smelly, scaleless, hornless, horribly abused, she was nothing much to look at nor is she sentient. At least, that was how she was labeled. Yet, when Divak glares into her eyes his hunting rage is stirred, and he finds himself wanting this frail human named Lynn with her smooth flesh and indomitable spirit despite their differing species. And as they travel the federated galaxies and beyond to find her home, her allure only grows as does the danger from those who would have her back. Can he fight his own desires and see her safely back home? And if they make it to the planet she calls Earth, can he let her go?
The worldbuilding is excellent, but grim, and the story is thrilling. Lynn is an admirable character, and Divak is a good match for her. Radme is interesting. There is graphic violence, a body count that isn't all bad guys, and graphic sex. The book does need a thorough editing; there are word choices that are confusing. I enjoyed the story.
