To pay off his father’s debts, the cold and aloof actor, Tu Yan, was sold to the second young master of the wealthy and powerful Gu family. Short and sweet, it was exactly what I was expecting ❤️. It made me shed some tears at the beginning because the dual timeline was hard to read. I loved the disability rep and how the subject was approached, and also loved how author explained MCs anxiety during pregnancy.

I'm a fan of arranged marriages and forced proximity troupe, but I understood why MC could never accept his feelings while married, without the freedom of choosing his husband he still wasn't certain.

PS: I get how MCs personality might annoy people. He's a stundere but once you know how his parents's divorce and childhood experiences affected him it made sense that he developed his trust and communication issues.

So fluffy all over, no angst at all. The mc is a tsundere, one that is if legendary level with a poisonous mouth, but his heart says otherwise. At times, you may find him frustrating. With a tsundere legendary level as mc, we also have a ml with a legendary level patience. We all need a Gu Chenbai in our lives.

There’s so much flashbacks. Just when I was getting emotional, I would suddenly be dragged away to the present time. Like suddenly feeling high with an edm music inside the bar, but then the DJ suddenly played a mellow song next. I think the writing style would have been better.

Overall, I think it is a good read. The extras are funny as well. I would say this is the most wholesome abo novel I’ve read.

There's a lot of pampering and indulgence, which some people might like, but seemed like a plot hole to me. The author never really clarifies if the ml really did fall in love at first sight or was just making the best of a situation his parents threw him into (because they knew he liked the Mc?). The latter seems most likely, but then his actions are borderline saintlike. Who treats a cantankerous caretaker your parents find for you with so much indulgence and even pretends diligently that you chose them because you love them? The plot, as it's told, just doesn't really hold up logically. And the Mc is ridiculous. He is finally willing to open his heart because of the ml's determined pampering. But that's not how life works. No one, other than maybe your own parents, will unconditionally indulge you as you try your best to push them away. Maybe he's so attractive the ml thought it was worth it? But that makes the ml very superficial. 'I fell in love with your face at first sight, and when I got to know your prickly personality and poisonous tongue, that just sealed the deal'.

The extra is more logical and cute, though still not fully logical. The brother hates omegas who want him because of his status, and because this omega put on quite the effort to get to know him, he's special? I really didn't see how the Omega was different from all the others that the ml supposedly despises. I'm sure there is more than 1 omega who is sweet, caring, and willing to put up with a slightly stoic husband.

I really enjoyed this a lot, although there was a bit more angst and pain then I was expecting, considering I saw someone else say the novel was mainly fluff. Despite there being fluff weaved into the earlier chapter because there was still some pain and bitter moments, my nose was sour and my eyes kept gathering tears for the first 15-20 chapters. Actually, even in the later chapters I was tearing up because Gu Chenbai really is sweet with his Tu Bao, Tu Yan also shows that he cares very much.

Gu Chenbai really is too good, he is so patient with Tu Yan and takes really good care of him. I actually liked Tu Yan quite a bit as well, although he is thorny on the outside he's actually very soft on the outside and very sticky with Gu Chenbai in the end. Even though he is a lot more thorny and uncooperative with Gu Chenbai in the beginning of the marriage, his actions are actually very understandable considering this is not a marriage that he chose to be apart of, he was sold by his own father.

I usually don't read omegaverse stories but this one was short so I gave it a try. It's a lovely story without unnecessary drama. My only problem with it is that I didn't fully like the main character, I understood where Tu Yan was coming from and understood his reasoning but still couldn't like him, I wished the alpha could have been a little bit stern or something like that, because Gu Chenbai was extremely sweet, almost like an angel reincarnated but also almost like an used doormat. This novel would have been a 5 stars if the story about Gu Chaocheng and Xie Zhiyao was intertwined with the main story instead of being only the extras, so I could have rest from Tu Yan's attitude from time to time.

A very realistic story about a couple; with a good plot; vivid descriptions of complex feelings, often heartwrenching because it is so true to reality. No unnecessary melodrama. It could be situated outside omegaverse setting or the couple could be male/female. It would still work beautifully.

I am not sure I would use the adjective "cute" for the most part of the story -- perhaps for the last 5-6 chapters only where the story takes an obvious turn to a happy ending.

Quería leer una novela ligera y cumplió su cometido. Tiene treinta y cuatro capítulos y cuatro extras, que se dividen en veintidós capítulos, que relatan el romance del hermano del protagonista. En mi no tan humilde opinión, es de esos libros con fluff que no me son memorables con el tiempo. Y sí, lo mejor de Limited Possession es la gentileza del alfa.

I really enjoyed the overall story. I recommend it as a transition novel or a quick read. It's a really good story, for sure. The MC and ML get together perfectly, and you won't need to wait long for it to happen.

The storyline starts out a bit confusing, but you quickly pick up what's happening. This story is so fluffy, even the extra chapters with Gu ChaoCheng.

3.25 stars, the .25 addition is thanks to the side couple because they stole the show completely for me, despite only appearing on the extras.

About the actual main story, I thought that it was easy to get into. While it has elements that could potentially turn some moments into a bigger drama, from the middle towards the end it's mostly fluff. I admit it's not my preferred tag so it's no wonder that this novel wasn't a hit for me in particular. There's also the timeline which got a bit confusing at times for me.

The main couple was fine, the push and pull (mostly coming from Tu Yan) was cute sometimes especially due to their status of exes at the start. I liked the Gu Chenbai a lot, he was the highlight of the main story. I liked how he was the gentle type of love interest, but that he also had an overprotective and even cheeky side.

However, my main issue was the MC himself. I wished Tu Yan wasn't so childish at times because despite liking tsunderes, I felt that he lacked more depth to be a compelling character. The reasoning behind his behaviour was told instead of shown so it didn't have the same impact, instead of letting the reader piece things together. He's not awfully constructed, I just think the novel was too short and he needed more pages to be fully fleshed out.

It's for that reason that I was thinking of dropping it but I decided to stay mainly for the mpreg, and after reading the extras I think it was 100% worth it. Speaking about that, as I said at the beginning the side couple was the best thing. I got attached to them very easily and I wished they were the main one or at least had their own novel. Their dynamic of cold alpha CEO that doesn't believe in finding a partner and a cute omega idol that chases his first love was just too good.

Overall, this was a cute and simple novel to pass the time that doesn't have huge conflicts for those that prefer low angst. The context of the acting industry mixed with themes of pregnancy, divorce and finding love at an early stage of life were a nice premise too. It would've been amazing if this was longer but it was still entertaining in general.

This might be the first time I can’t stand one of the main characters, which has led to my confusion about the main couple. The writing isn’t poor or unreadable, but I continually wonder what made one character fall so deeply in love. If the author is trying to convey that love has no rhyme or reason and simply exists, then okay. However, in a novel, an author should provide some explanation; otherwise, as a reader I remain unconvinced.

I kept reading, hoping there would be light at the end of the tunnel. If you enjoy a mindlessly doting male lead, this might appeal to you. If you like characters who are tough on the outside but tender inside, you might tolerate TY. I couldn’t. Mostly some of his behavior was so childish.

Okuduğum en güzel novellardan biri. Hikaye çok akıcı ve güzel ilerliyor hiç sıkmadan okutuyor kendini. Kitaptaki karakterler çook güzel yazılmış özellikle Gu Chenbai… Hayran olunası bir karakter 🥺 Gu Chenbai’nin otobüs durağında beklediği kısımda hüngür hüngür ağlamak kaçınılmaz, yüreğimi bıraktım o kısma diyebilirim. Keşke biraz daha uzun sürseydi. Yan hikayeler de hoştu ama ana hikayenin biraz daha uzun olmasını isterdim tu yan ve gu chenbai’ye doyamadan bitti 😔 Kesinlikle herkesin okuması gereken çok hoş bir novel.
