The Life Changing Power of Intuition by Emma Lucy Knowles, a book which also acts a workbook to guide you through knowing yourself, your thoughts and your body language.
It helps you understand your intuition in a very simple, step-by-step guided exercises and activities. It took me a while to get through a few of the exercises mentioned in the book.
Overall the exercises and the explanation both are on point and goes deeper with every chapter. Starts with merely knowing your body language and then eventually you finding the element of the nature that works the best for you, to getting pro at knowing what your intuition is trying to tell you.
Meh on this one. Its focus is on intuition, however Knowles relates everything to intuition (Chakras, alters, crystals, smudging, etc). So it turns into each topic having just a few pages dedicated to it. If you’re looking for a pretty reference style book, this is a nice option. For intuition most of the advice made me think of mindfulness training, lots of breathing and meditation. Book format is an odd choice as she recommends scripts for meditations that you need to read or record yourself.
A nice starting point for complete beginners who do not have an established relationship with their intuition. There are some approachable exercises in here, but overall the content is quite basic and sometimes vague.
The cover and description had me thinking this book would help support my existing practices, but unfortunately that was not the case. I would describe this as more of a beginner's introduction to the concept of intuition.
I could see this being more impactful as a TED talk or other live experience, where the author could communicate more passion and emphasis where intended.
Emma Lucy Knowles: “Power of intuition” gives you an inside into your intuition and ego voices. It helps to differentiate between the two and understand what messages from our mind and body come from each (either from ego or from our intuition). It proves that each and one of us has an intuition, which is an internal intelligence all for us to discover within ourselves. It’s us to be a TECHER in this journey of discovery.
This book is about intuition or say the conscious of your inner being, that show you path of life sub-conscious, from the event of future. For that we have to listen to these inner speakers.
Author come with this book and shows us techniques how one can connect with it, through various ways and exercises, being thinking of positive thoughts and actions, regular regards , gratitude to the superpower and meditation.
With these come the exercises to first cleanse our mind from the thought that are laid back that doesn't allow us to grow and listen to these consciousness inside us, how to clear that energy from the bad effects on you , that will help revive the chakras from the body and give you a fresh perspective to life. With exercise or crystal or cleansing tools author show us how to do it for yourself and being a revived soul and how to listen to this inner consciousness.
I can’t express the lack of substance this book held for me just in the first few pages. I respect the authors a views and ideas that surround this concept. but I find it damaging that this is designed as a workbook, and yet seve4al pages in I found the author to be very flakey and not coming from honest experience or faithful teachings.
Pretty solid book for those starting out in learning about intuition, manifestation, cleansing and all. I sped through it to see if there were any tools I can use and there were a couple. Fast and quick read too!
This book gave lots of exercises to try to get in tune with your intuition, more in the sense of a handbook and not so much something to just sit back and dive into. Many of the exercises are meditation based advising you to get in touch with your chakras and I felt it could have gone a bit deeper into the practices. Towards the end it felt like the author maybe just wasn’t trying so hard anymore and just threw out lots of words repeating itself over and over again, for example describing an exercise using certain crystals and mirrors and words, then saying “to use this for xyz benefits, use this crystal and these words” while repeating the entire process all over again instead of just listing the exercise once and saving space by making categories.
The author also repeated a few times, “I never thought I’d write a book, this is my third one!” which made this book feel more like a proud diary instead of a self-help book. This could be a plus for readers because it made the book feel like the author was talking directly to you, like a friend and not just some clinical voice.
The exercises at the beginning were a cool way to get into intuitive feel but the second half of the book fell flat. I can’t really recommend this one unless you’ve never tried getting in touch with your intuition before, then in that case this could be a good dabble into it.
The Life-Changing Power of Intuition by Emma Lucy Knowles was something I didn't know I needed. I've always been a spiritual person, but I appreciated a book that dove deeper into intuition, giving more information on the difference between that feeling and our ego.
This isn't just an informative book; it gives activities, which anyone who's on a spiritual and healing journey will identify these tools as a helpful stepping stone within a larger frame of change.
The Life-Changing Power supports us in all areas of our lives, from big decisions to work to relationships and purpose.
I appreciated the beautiful illustrations throughout the book; they captured my attention.
It feels fantastic to know how to refill and recharge our own cup! I will definitely be recommending this book to others.

This is a great beginners book at exploring your intuition and really trying to learn to connect with it through meditation via guided exercises and learning to listen to your gut feeling.
I have already passed some milestones and so this book was more relatable to my daughter who is a novice and needs this in her life to gain insight on listening to that inner voice, learn how to destress and work on imbalances in her life that she needs to fix.
But there were still many interesting facts I added to my arsenal and was able to expand my knowledge of self. I did enjoy reading and I think it’s a fabulous book to gift to those in your life that are looking for self discovery and to learn how the power of intuition can make an impact on mind, body and spirit.
I look forward to even more advanced books by this Author and I encourage this book for anyone seeking positive change.
I went into this, without expectation but with hope that this would further my own mindfulness. While I wasn’t personally able to find much for my own use at this point in my life, I was impressed by the author’s knowledge and passion in passing along what she’s learned. The author’s writing reflects her excitement to share what she’s discovered.
This seems like a worthwhile resource for those beginning their intuitive journey.

As someone who is constantly told they are intuitive and knowing it myself I was really interested in this book. I loved that the book gave me some very clear exercises to do with my intuition to really fine tune it. I think if you're a bit advanced in knowing what your intuition is telling you and how to go along with it, this might not be the greatest book. But if you're new or really want to fine tune and work with your intuition this is a fantastic book. There are very clear exercises to really get a sense of when your "gut feeling" is telling you something.
This book took me a while to finish, I put it down for months then picked it back up again.
There are a lot of good meditation practises in the book (which is very hard to not feel like a bit of an idiot whilst doing these, but that’s my own internal imposter) but I feel I need to go back over these and re-read this book again when my mind isn’t distracted living in my very noisy family home!
**Thank you for the ARC!! All opinions are completely my own.**
This is a well-written and informative guide to intuition for beginners and experts alike. I appreciated how the author dived into her own personal experiences, the higher self, visual exercises, and self-care activities. The visual design of the book is very engaging and incredibly creative. This book is perfect for practical use.
I found this book difficult to follow and understand. Whilst it offers up a range of practical exercises it misses some fundamental detail in its instruction around exactly what the outcome and experience of them should be. As a result, it’s a bit like reading a technical guide to replacing a hadron collider without any background. Entirely theoretical and a little exclusive.
Disappointing read.

This is a good introduction to understand intuition and trusting your gut. It’s amazing how many people truly don’t trust their own inner voice that sometimes screams to them to STOP or to RUN or to just give in. Learn how to listen to that inner voice…it knows you and it knows more about what is going on than you most often do.
A beautiful look though how to utilize your inner light in life and how to make your life brighter. Pun intended. Highly recommend. Especially loved the reflection to true life to humanize my feelings and relate. I felt like this book was SPEAKING TO ME. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I took a good bit of time to make it through this book, but I made it. I’ll probably give it a re-read to be honest. If you’re a beginner, starting your spiritual journey, this was a good book to start with. There are tools and tasks that act as a guide to come more in touch with yourself.
There were moments that dragged, but overall, a decent book for beginners (which I am).
This little book has a lot of positive meditation techniques and guidance on recognizing your intuition in order to improve your life. I may have skimmed parts but overall, good message.
