Look, my time is finite so I see no point in making more of an effort than the author. This manga is always about being cute more than funny. And it is. They camp and it’s cute. Minor plot things finally occur, which are cute.
Nasa ends up as a volunteer teacher at a girls’ school and that’s a plot that has a new location and new characters. But still turns back to the cute of it all.
3 stars - it’s cute. As much as I enjoy this series in a very low-key ‘can’t be bothered to change the channel’ sort of way, I don’t know that I’m going to keep paying for it to tell and show me the same thing every single volume, even if it is… you know…
The group surprises Nasa and Tsukasa with a wedding reception. The couple prepares to move out on their own, and Nasa takes on a temporary teaching gig. Stuff happened, but for some reason I feel like the story is stalled; it’s missing something, I just can’t put my finger on it.
Another super adorable, super cute, fantastic volume.
This time Nasa tries to explain what the meaning of love is, and why he married. We also finally move on to moving back in their own home soon, which will be nice. I did feel like the first half was a little stretched but overall, it was too cute to bring this any longer than a 4 out of 5.
Amoooo... 🥰🥰
The first half of this book was really good. It felt like the story was advancing and we were learning new details. The second half returns to the cute slice of life antics of our main couple. A good volume.
These two lovebirds are adorable. She's cute, and refined. He's handsome, and intelligent. They make a good couple. There were some rather interesting revelations made this volume. What, you say? No, no, no... that would be telling.
Still such a cute series, the slow build ups have been so easy and relaxing to read. The last chapter looks to set something up which could be intresting. Next volume please!
The camping trip turns into a surprise wedding reception. Nasa and Tsukasa prepare to move since their old apartment has been rebuilt. Why do people get married?
On the camping trip continued from the previous volume, Nasa and Tsukasa’s friends surprise them with a Wedding Reception to finally be able to celebrate the couple in public. Nasa has to pull it together to make a meaningful wedding toast, which impresses Ms. Tokiko, Tsukasa’s grandmother. Nasa enthralls part of the group with his astronomy knowledge, while Tsukasa bribes the rest with fireworks. The next morning, Ms. Tokiko gives Nasa the Moon Rock and tells him to make Tsukasa happy. When they return from their camping trip, they find out their apartment is almost ready for them to move back in. Nasa also gets a volunteer teaching position at an all girls high school helping to teach coding.
In this volume, Hata turns slightly away from the Slice of Life format in that all of the chapters have a building storyline. They're still fairly short, and everything is still pretty peaceful and low stakes, but the conversation with Tokiko and Nasa gave another hint towards her identity and the greater mystery we've been teased with the whole series. There seems to be a deeper story that Hata wants to write about this couple, but we haven't seen it yet.
