Whew

So… the author has done an amazing job of engaging the reader. Ms. Author, you are good. When the reader becomes emotionally involved, that means the story is good.

Now, my feelings about what’s happening…Whew, Lord!! I’m so conflicted. I’m really not feeling Eli’s obsession with Natalie. I’m all for love but unhealthy, obsessive love ain’t it. Now, couple that with Solomon and I’m thinking whew, this is tew much!

Who Do You Trust?

Eli is the man you love but can he be trusted? Solomon his brother is the man you can't love or trust.

Ali gets knocked down twice on her wedding day, learning secrets about the man she just married and his brother and the death of some one close to her.

Does she believe the things she has just been told. This108 pages had me on edge from start to finish.

Not What I Think

Natalie and Elias were destined to be together. They had overcome more than the average couple but more was to come. Who do you believe when things are revealed? Tragedy strikes and one is left wondering how many twists can the relationship. The author provided serious personal intrigue.

Okay at this point I don't trust Elias and I don't trust Solomon. Kinda glad Natalie is feeling Elias now but I am scared for her and how this is gonna turn out. I need Elias to end up the good guy and Solomon just be a jealous jerk.

This was 2 1/2 stars because the twist sounds so convoluted and ridiculous. I'll continue to the next book to see where its going, but I'm very disappointed that this twist was tossed in. I found that this author wrote When I Needed You, another series I read but stopped because it had a silly twist.

In this installment, Eli is stressing me out. Does he truly love Natalie, or has once what love morphed into a crazy obsession? He is seemingly stuck in some type of hero worship for her saving his life. The dude is straight strange, and I think Natalie needs to pause. But if she pause, what will Eli’s reaction be? This relationship has bad vibes of being unhealthy.
