This trip is an opportunity of a lifetime. A chance to unearth a new Egyptian temple and gain a place on Professor Weaver’s prestigious research team. It’s a dream come true.
One I’m not going to let Jake Grantham and his so-called pack of alphas ruin. We’ve been competing neck and neck at the top of the professor’s class and now she wants us working together at the archeological site.
He may be turning up the charm but I know what alphas can be like: ruthless, selfish and unforgiving. I’m not falling for one (two, three or four) again. I’m out to claim my future. And I won’t be letting any alphas claim me!
All I have to do is take my heat suppressants, avoid the seductive scents of those four alphas, and everything will work out fine.

If you love the sauciness and steam of omegaverse with the sweetness of contemporary romance, heroes with hard shells and soft interiors, and heroines who fight for what they want, you’ll love Hannah Haze’s soft and steamy books - omegaverse set in our world.
This novel is a standalone with happy ending guaranteed and multiple points of view. The story is set in a fictional city in the UK with British characters and is written using British English spelling and usage.
I'm Hannah Haze, a why choose paranormal romance author known for my sweet omegaverse books and not so sweet magical academy series. If you enjoy a touch of humour, a lot of steam and plenty of swoony, romantic moments; strong fmcs who know what they want and mmcs who vary from the devoted to obsessive, then I am the woman for you!
My other loves include long romantic walks in the countryside, undisturbed soaks in a hot bath and even hotter stories. I have one husband, three children, a very naughty cat and a new fluffy pupster. When I’m not writing stories, I’m thinking about stories, listening to stories, reading stories or dreaming about them.
Look, I don’t read Hannah’s books for the plot (if you catch my drift) and this one was actually way more plot heavy than the others at first that I was confused and a little disappointed. Then we hit about the 40% mark and everything fell back into place and I was right at home again with my surface level shenanigans and flew right through this story.
Loved this pack (even if we barely get to know some of them) loved Giorgie, and I just adore these little books, even if they are silly. Keep ‘em coming, Hannah, but stop with the terrible nicknames I swear to god.
Also, still hate the word gland.
Edited to add: we also finally get multi pov!!!!! I think that’s another reason this one felt different and it was great
Another good RH Omega verse book. I loved the archeological plot and the tension between her and Jake. And she fits perfectly with the pack that I can't help but love it 😍 The angst, the relationships, the smut all was the perfect amount especially the ending 💫
We met Giorgie in In Trouble, and I absolutely loved her then! This book takes place around 5-6 years after In Trouble, and it’s Giorgie’s journey and growth regarding her trauma through learning to trust alphas again. The pack of men are amazing with her! I totally enjoyed this story! If you love sweet omegaverse, centered around the romance and the relationships, then this story is for you and I totally recommend it!
Giorgie has had a traumatic experience with an alpha. She doesn’t want anything to do with them. She has put all her energy towards her passion archeology. She’s attending a class taught by a female professor who has made great strides in the field. She has a position open to the top student in her class to be her assistant. Giorgie wants it so bad but an annoying alpha Jake has put forth his name for it too. They annoy each other and bicker back and forth. You could cut the tension between them with a knife. They are about to go on an adventure of their life. To excavate their own possibilities on an actual site. Jake is in love with Giorgie and has been the past year of their bickering and competition for the assistant job. When they get to the actual site the professor teams them together to excavate their own trench. High tension, close proximity and a few missed suppressant pills puts Giorgie into her heat. You know where this is leading. Yup… all kinds of knotty shenanigans. But things don’t go so well because Giorgie is still dealing with her trauma. This was an emotional read because each alpha had a story of woe and so did Giorgie. Jake, his pack Dylan, Levi and Aiden must overcome the wall Giorgie has built. They also must overcome their pasts to make a future within for their Soulmate, their omega and the missing link to their pack.
I saw “omegaverse,” archaeology, and driven academic and clicked immediately. But my enthusiasm quickly died in a sea of incorrect words, hypocrisy, and dudechadbro writing.
I wanted to love this book, this new author, but Haze writes alpha Jake as a man who gets angry at other men for female slurs then two paragraphs later calls the FMC “wench.” You can’t have it both ways. I mean, you CAN, but you shouldn’t. Does he like women or hate them?
Other than that, I feel no chemistry between the leads or the pack. They’re nice enough and she’s cute enough and they have the same major interests. It’s a strange mix of misunderstanding tropes, alphaholes, and the shy girl persona to carry it. I hope her writing gets better because I love omegaverse stories with heart but this one didn’t grab mine.
I keep reading RH even though they’re not really my thing. This story was sweet. Liked the archaeological setting and I thought the author was creative with her world building. I liked the tension between Jake and Giorgie. I feel the story would’ve been better without the pack aspect because the other characters weren’t very developed. I did feel sorry for poor Aiden. Overall it was an entertaining book with a sweet epilogue. Nice little snack.
That was cute and really unlike any omegaverse I’ve read. The story really focused on the omega and basically just one alpha from the pack. Tho they all came together in the end, it was still an interesting approach. Though I would have been happy if it had been longer so I could have gotten to know all the alphas better, it was still a good compromise.
I was honestly surprised to see so many reviews and recommendations for this. This was so boring, and the writing really needed some help. I feel like I could understand what the author was going for, but just wasn't able to get it across.
This omegaverse takes place in the same world as the author’s other books, and we see some overlap of characters in this book as well. I loved the premise and the theming of this story - it is a unique take on the forced proximity trope for sure. I personally didn’t have an issue with the artistic take on life in ancient Egypt. I understand that this is a work of fiction, and I liked the author’s inclusion of alphas and omegas into that world.
The FMC of this book is an omega who is driven, intelligent, and assertive. She is consciously going after what she wants even though it isn’t expected of her, which is a theme in Hannah’s books as well. I’ve come to expect something beyond the commonly written doormat omega FMC, which is one of the reasons I like her books so much. However, I was surprised as I read further to find myself DISliking Giorgie more and more. We get to know her as careful and purposeful, mostly due to some trauma in her past. But, about 70% of the way through the book, her decisions and assumptions all begin to read as frustratingly immature.
This books is also written as a slow burn with lots of sexual tension - which is truly delicious to read! But when we finally (finally!) reach our HEA, we jump from like to love to wanting to be bonded forever almost instantaneously - I felt like I missed some of the relationship development.
This pack of alphas was, again, a nice change from a lot of omegaverse writing. They are college students who aren’t all muscley billionaires, and didn’t all grow up together from birth. I liked all of them and that they were written with some insecurities and complexity. Each alpha each got at least one chapter from their POV and we got to know a little bit about each of their backgrounds, although I would have liked to get to know them even more. They were distinct enough for me that I got to know their personalities though. I’ll be honest and admit that I wish I had gotten to know more about how they came together and decided to form a pack.
Overall, I enjoyed this book but there were parts that felt a little rushed and didn’t give me enough depth. But, I enjoyed the unique setting and theming, and the MMCs especially. I’ll definitely keep reading Hannah’s books even if this one wasn’t my absolute favorite.
Okay so if you follow my reviews, I’ve rated some ABO books really harshly lately and this was just a total breath of fresh air after the last few.
I’ve read the previous books in this series from this author as they were released, but I think she REALLY hit her stride with this one. The minor issues I had previously were nonexistent, and I thought everything about this book was a win.
I majored in archaeology in college and have dig site experience so I tried not to get to hung up on little inaccuracies and just chalked those up to fiction and artistic license 😁 I loved that she mentioned the knee and back pain because that is 100% accurate. I was luckily on a dig in Scotland, can’t imagine sweltering out in the Egyptian desert, but the descriptions nearly made me feel like I was.
The development in this story is so good, the author took time to introduce a plot line and the characters and let us immerse into the world before throwing any kind of relationship building at us. I love that it isn’t an instalove scenario, it really helped me connect with the story better.
Also, some of the descriptions of little things throughout the story are so good and really show an elevated writing technique beyond what I’ve been seeing lately in the genre. There was one particular spot where she was describing the rain and the windshield wipers and it just stuck out to me as being an exceptional little description. There were a few of these throughout which just took this story to the next level for me.
The story does place a heavier emphasis on Giorgie and Jake than the other pack members, however this felt like a more organic way to develop an RH than I’m used to seeing and it just made the story feel more natural and realistic. She knows Jake for a long time before she meets the others (even though anything romantic between them doesn’t happen until after she has met them all), so it makes sense that their connection would be stronger and would be what initially pulls everyone else in. When we have stories where the relationships all progress at the same exact pace and time it feels more formulaic and scripted, this really changed up that precedent in a successful way.
I was sad to see it end! The little extra scene at the very end gave me chills and a smile, such a cool way to end the story and bring it full circle.
I always loved the books by Hannah Haze. This one is no exception. Omegaverse is my favorite genre, and this was a great read. I loved that we get multiple POVs.
And I liked seeing old characters again too. Giorgie is the little sister of Ric from In Trouble. I'm glad to see, that she finally has her happy ending, too.
The pack and she together were a perfect match. I loved how it was build up, too. The competition between Jake and Giorgie, and then the other guys, who slowly slide into the picture. The tension was there, and the dynamic was well-balanced.
And how they help each other with their insecurities and Giorgie's trauma. Not to forget the plot on Egyptian mythology and history. I kind of wished there was more. Like a showdown between them and between this misogynist Dr. Lichenstein. And how Professor Weaver reacted.
So, the ending was that satisfying for me. They bonded and that was it. And then the epilogue. I really love a good one. And it wasn't a bad one here, either. It's just felt like a huge leap between the ending and the epilogue. I know, it isn't anything new. But Giorgie had the huge project at the ending and building a career with Jake. And the next she is a mum, and they are at home. Yeah, we get a summary about what had happened, and know they were successful. But I would've liked to see differently in a little extra chapter before the epilogue. Or first a more little time-lapse, before the 5 years later.
The bonus chapter was nice. It's nothing necessary, but still I enjoyed the added scene.
Overall, I loved the book, but it still lacks a little. That's why I give it 4 stars.
Jesus fudge. Omegaverse AND tapping into my love of the mummy?! Take me now...
Gosh darn it. I got this book a while back a few days before the ebook came out (Thank you, paperback preorder!) and I devoured it. I stayed up until the wee hours reading it in terrible lighting while my other half slept next to me because he had an important meeting the next day.
Giorgie is an Omega with some past issues relating to Alphas, and she's not too interested in them nowadays. She's ambitious and wants to reach the top of her class but there is an annoying, hot Alpha who is also gunning for that coveted spot and the benefits that come with it ( a place on the research team of the amazing professor weaver).
While on a trip with their class to support an archeological dig Giorgie gets into a little heat trouble due to a mistake with her heat suppressants and one thing leads to another and maybe the cocky asshole Jake isn't all that bad, or his pack for that matter! There's steam, bonding, some seriousness, and a classically amazing enemies-to-lovers plot which had me unable to put it down. I loved how Jake as a character developed from our first impressions of him and I love the conclusion and the final resolution, it was spot on.
This book also reminded me what a thing I once had for Brendan Fraiser and Rachel Weisz from The Mummy. Serious Mummy vibes, in the best way. I can guarantee this will be a future reread!
Giorgie is an unabashed geek. She loves her history and her archeology. She wants to prove that Omegas are capable of great accomplishments "despite their designation". She is determined to finish at the top of her archeology course, shine at their Egyptian dig, and win a spot on Professor Weaver's team. The only thing standing in her way is an Alpha. Jake Grantham is her equal and her nemesis. Now on the Egypt dig site, they have been paired up as trench partners. Worse, he brought his entire pack with him. Eyes on the prize. They can only serve as distractions even if they are all gorgeous and smell divine. It's a competition of the minds, even if her body is intent on betraying her.
This is my favorite of Hannah Hazes' stories so far but I still have a few issues with it. There needs to be more character depth and consistency. I feel like we never got to know the pack as we should have. And the way the pack turned on one of their own was upsetting. Giorgie's forgetfulness and breakdown were also disappointing. Not the trauma reaction but her decision to give up her dreams and run home with her tail tucked between her legs damaged her character for me. I realize there would have been no story without her forgetfulness but I wish the catalyst could have been a fated match or overwhelmed by Alpha proximity instead of Giorgie's negligence. It went against her character traits. Otherwise, this story was entertaining. I love the Egyptian angle. It showed such creativity. More of this, please. 3 1/2 stars
There are only a couple omegaverse authors that consistently release books that I know will appeal to me. I know when I read one I'm not going to get a doormat abused omega with slight variations to the same story.
First I have to say that the cover for In Doubt is one of my favorites, which seems ridiculous but the model is freaking adorable and completely fits my picture of Giorgie. It makes me smile whenever I see it.
As someone who loves history, and majored in it in college, I had no issues with the artistic license taken with Egyptian history. This is a work of fiction so I expect liberties to be taken to fit the story. I also find it completely fascinating where that part of the story went.
Giorgie is a strong independent omega who knows what she wants which I love. However, I didn't love Giorgie. And I don't really know that I can pinpoint what it is...it's just something. And her reaction to the phone was OTT. Really.
I liked Jack and the guys, mostly. I loved the location and the history and the dig. This really should have been my absolute favorite of Hannah's books. Maybe I'm just in a mood?
I would definitely recommend In Doubt and every other book by Hannah Haze. She writes omegaverse like it could really be a part of real life, with relatable FMC and alphas that don't have to be billionaires.
I have been dying for Hannah Haze to write a multi-POV reverse harem omegaverse so I was super excited for this book to come out. It totally was everything that I wanted in a book!
I felt each of the men in the pack were unique enough to easily tell them apart and I adored Giorgie. She’s not afraid to stand up for what she believes and open her heart to the possibility of love after heartbreak. I loved seeing how the omegaverse tied into the archeology aspects of the book. I think Haze’s integration of OV aspects into her modern day world is one of the greatest strengths of her writing. The story was so sweet and filled with good vibes. I think I read the whole thing in one or two sittings. Once I started I couldn’t put it down.
While it’s a standalone and you definitely can read it as one, I would recommend In Trouble before In Doubt. Giorgie is a side character in In Trouble and reading that first adds a little more depth to her character.
I would classify this book as a slow burn and 3/5 on the spicy scale. Once it gets going it GOES! We are talking multi chapters of steaminess that totally makes the slow burn worth it!
I will absolutely continue to inhale anything and everything Haze publishes - can’t wait to see the next pack fall in love in this universe!
I was SO excited we got Giorgie's story, after meeting her in - In Trouble, I was hoping she would get her own story. Hannah did not disappoint, idk how she does it but this storyline was interesting and we got another amazing FMC!
Giorgie is a smart & sassy Omega who’s working towards her masters and obtaining a prestigious spot on an archeological team. The only thing in her way is Jake Grantham, he’s an alpha and he does not make things easy for her. Their dynamic is perfect for the enemies to lovers trope feel even more real. Because I am sure this happens in life where there’s only 1 spot and 2 top people want it, etc.
Low & behold when they get to Egypt, Giorgie & Jake are paired together, but wait it gets better. Jake brought some of his teammates, Levi, Dylan & Aiden. They're all sweet on Giorgie and think there's something special about her. Another wrench in Giorgie's plans.. she goes into heat early, and WHEW you can feel the steam coming from the scenes! Dispite their dislike for each other, once they stop competing each other, they work really well together (they were paired up by their professor). I love these alphas (they may be my favorite out of all the alphas in Hannah's books), they're respectful, sweet, and I love their HEA.
If you've loved Hannah's other omegaverse books you're going to love Giorgie and her new pack!
This was an absolute delight! If you have a soft spot for ancient Egypt, and love all things alpha/omega, then this book is for you. Haze has brought back to life the enthusiasm and love I developed for ancient Egypt while watching The Mummy in the 90s (dating myself here, but that's ok). She's woven in one of my favourite genre's at the moment, and given us a lovely, sweet love story about Giorgie and her pack. Giorgie is at the top of her class and working towards a dream job, but the only thing standing in her way is an alpha. Giorgie has been hurt in the past, and finds it difficult to trust, and Jake... well Jake is a bit of a player. Cue the low-angst drama and you get a delightful story that delves into your heart like archaeologists delve into a dig. I really liked Giorgie as a character, and appreciated her growth along the way. All of the pack members had their own connection to her, and I loved to see the relationship between all of them develop as well. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful and sweet omegaverse, with guaranteed HEA.
I really enjoyed Giorgie’s story and learning more about her. I loved her in the book In trouble when we met her and I loved her even more in her own story. This story is about her learning to trust alphas again and I really LOVED the pack of men that are so sweet to her. The storyline and characters were very fun to read about and I am glad that I was able to.
The dynamic of the pack was *chef's kiss. Actually if I had to say, this book has become one of my favorites that Hannah has wrote. I love that they are all different and with each member they all bring something different to the dynamic. One thing I really enjoyed about this book was the multiple points of view. I know for me I love the different POV because you get to read from more than one character vs just one.
Spice? Yes & everything nice and sweet between. I enjoyed it and it wasn't over powering which was good.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book by Hannah Haze. I am really glad I got to read this book and I can't wait to see what she writes next. I do recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet omegaverse centered around romance & in Egypt.
Despite their differences, there is just something that keeps pulling them together. That fire that burns between them maybe isn't fueled with hate, but with a passion so hot it blinds them as to what it is they are really feeling.
Giorgie isn't your average omega. She wants more out of life. She longs to explore and uncover the great mysteries of past cultures, especially those involving the ancient Egyptian and how they treated omegas. But she knows that her chances are slim to be excepted into that kind of field of academia. Everything is riding on this excavation. If only HE wasn't here to ruin it all for her
Jake was so excited about getting into this class . . . that is until he smelled that delicious, annoying morsel of an omega. Now everyday is an exercise in frustration and restraint.
Apart they simmer, together they burn. It's a slower-burn than HHaze's other books, but still good
** Thank you to the author for the opportunity to review this advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion **
I had not read the other books of this series and this one worked fine as a standalone. I thought the writing was great and I will pick up other books by this author.
I thought this story was somewhat original for an Omegaverse book, and I always enjoy the “Omega trying to achieve professional goals” theme.
I had a hard time getting behind Giorgie’s character though. She’s this super serious student who is trying to stand out academically and professionally as an Omega and then ends up flaking on taking her heat suppressants while alone in a foreign country on a super important trip. I mean… come on. Then she just skips the rest of the dig until the guys do all the work out there and then convince her to stay. Way to reinforce all the Omega stereotypes you’re fighting against, Giorgie.
The guys don’t really have individual personalities. They’re all very clone-ish. One’s a foster kid and one’s an unloved rich kid, and one likes cooking, and one… I don’t actually know the distinguishing characteristic of the last guy. Not much to them.
I was really feeling this book until we got to the panic attack part. I knew that something had to happen since they were all happy and there was still a small chunk of the book left. I get that Haze had to add a conflict in there, but really? I feel like she completely blew everything out of proportion.she saw Aiden on his phone and freaking panicked. She was hysterical. I was just having a hard time believing she made such a big deal over that. I understand with her past it’s hard to trust people, but before that, they did absolutely nothing to make her doubt them. She jumped to a conclusion. I also didn’t like how she was ready to give up everything because she was hurt. That was just another way of saying she’s weak, which I didn’t think before this happened. She called her brother and was ready to run home, completely forgetting about all she worked for and the dig. It was just a little unbelievable to me. Overall, I loved the characters and the whole archeology take, but the last 50 or so pages were a little disappointing.
Hannah Haze has done it again, and I think this may be my favorite one yet. Giorgie and Jack were rivals in their archeology class, fighting for the top spot to work with their professor. I love the competitiveness between the 2 of them, neither were willing to give up the opportunity to work on professor Weaver's team. They drove each other crazy with their scents and couldn't understand why. When given the opportunity to go to Egypt on a dig, both looked forward to it and Jake decided to bring his whole pack. This book was sweet and spicy, plus unique in the way that Hannah was able to mix in "Alpha/Omega history" that had my inner nerd salivating. Giorgie had past trauma that kept her from wanting to be with an alpha, much less a pack but all four of her alphas respected her boundaries and took it slow for her. These are my favorite kinds of omegaverse books, there's no OW drama, no violence, just a group of alphas who want to cherish their omega
We may not be archeologists searching in Egypt, but this story is a find it itself!
I’ve always been a fan of Hannah Hazes books and this story is no different. This whole series is a must read but this one hits harder. Almost as if they had to work just a bit harder for their happily ever after. I love these alphas with ooey gooey melt for their omega insides. Honestly I didn’t want it to stop. I could read about this pack for days and still not get enough. Aiden, Jake, Dylan and Levi. I would gladly be in their pack. Phew… bring a fan y’all might just need it this time!
So if you’re new to Hannah’s style it’s Omegaverse with a contemporary twist and this series is no doubt (haha, get it - I’m not in doubt - okay lame jokes lol) my favorite. Start reading today 😉
Bravo, Hannah, on another amazing story that left me breathless and swooning!!!
You don’t need to read the previous book, “In Trouble,” to enjoy this book, but it will help you understand elements of this book earlier than if you read this book alone. I love books that have super sweet moments along with the steamy ones and this book has it all. Georgie is not a huge fan of Alphas. Her main rival for a spot on the research team is an alpha, Jake. Eventually, they have to work together and find out they have more in common than they thought. Even though Georgie can be bratty at times, you come to understand why she is the way she is around Alphas. This is definitely your typical rivalry/enemies to lovers trope, but add a pack into it for good measure. Each person in the pack also has their issues as well.
**SPOILER** I loved the fated mates element in this book and enjoyed how Hannah intertwined that with the ancient Egyptian archaeology they were studying. So sweet!
While this story does tell a straightforward story it had a bump in it that just threw me off about 60-70% in the book. The way the fmc handled the conflict didn’t make sense. It felt more of a how it was written than the character’s actions didn’t make sense. Reactions to trauma don’t always make sense so that isn’t my problem. My problem is the way it was written ; it came out of no where like it was written as a plot device to get us to the resolution not because it was a needed. My second reason this won’t be a fav may be a more personal feeling that I didn’t really care for how the story was told. I didn’t connect with anything going on or anybody strongly. The story felt rushed. It’s fast paced, some spice and very sweet. Once your about 50% in.
Would I recommend this? Yes if you have read the previous books. Otherwise it’s a filler if you want something to just pass the time.
Archaeologists are known for their love of digging up old worlds and new experiences. So when Giorgie finds herself of a dig in Egypt she is uber-excited. There is only one thing clouding her excitement - Jake Grantham. Their teacher, Professor Weaver has ONE spot available in a special training program. Trouble is - both Giorgie and Jake want it. But --- they hate each other. So what happens in the digs of Egypt when Giorgie finds she has been partnered with Jake - and not only that. He's brought along some of his sporting teammates - Levi, Dylan and Aiden. All are alphas and all think Giorgie is something special. How will this enemies to lovers end. What happens when Giorgie goes into an early omega heat and Jake is the only one who can help her? This latest from Hannah Haze is so addictive - I couldn't put it down.
I enjoyed the tropiness of this omegaverse romance. I will admit that I did not enjoy this installment in the series as much as I did the previous books in this series because this one contained MM in the group. I prefer MFMMM setups in my groups romances because the FMC gets lavished with all the attention, which is more my own personal fantasy fulfillment, and that particular relationship setup is really hard to find in RH omegaverse romances. I prefer MF or MM romances over true poly ones in general, however. Aside from that personal preference, the book was really well written and the plot, characterization, and romantic relationship development was all well done. Will I re-read this romance? No, but I will still recommend it to people who enjoy true poly romances.
I received a copy of this book for free, and I am reviewing it voluntarily.
This was another light omegaverse book from this author. These books are almost too light, though. There isn't really much backstory given on everyone, so the guys just tend to blend together. Giving them one thing they each do differently (like cooking vs archaeology, etc) isn't enough. We barely know anything about them.
Because we don't know anything about the characters, it feels too fast for them to be in love after only a week after they met! Sure, Jake knew her longer, but she had never met the others before. It just felt way too fast and too insta-love for me. I'm not a fan of that.
These are cute and fluffy OV books to read as palette cleansers, between other books, but they are not anything really substantial, and I don't think any of them will make my favorites list. I will finish up the series, but I'm not holding out for anything great and amazing.
In Doubt by Hannah Haze is a sweet Omegaverse story. This book stars Giorgie as the FMC. We first met Giorgie in the previous book - In Trouble by Hannah Haze. I've been looking forward to getting her story since we first met her. Giorgie is a smart Omega who is working towards her masters and getting a prestigious spot on an archeological team. Her direct competition - an Alpha, Jake Grantham doesn't make it easy for her. They get to go on a dig in Egypt with their professor and classmates. Unexpectedly Giorgie's heat comes. Great story. I love Jake's pack - Aiden, Dylan, and Levi. Love that when Jake and Giorgie can stop competing against each other - they work so well together! No cheating. No bullying. HEA. Love, love, love Giorgie's story. Loved the epilogue too.
