Now we get to see the other side of things through Jenna and Kaz’s eyes. It was so emotional and heartbreaking and wonderful and I don’t even have the right words to be able to describe it. Things happen in this book that you had NO IDEA happened in Tara’s book and man I cried a few times. Felt like my heart got ripped out in places but the ending…oh the ending made it all worth it. If you haven’t give this series a chance i definitely recommend you do so. It’s so good. Just make sure you have tissues handy.

“The first book was amazing but guys this second one was magnificent!!! I’m a lover of dual or several POVs and this gave me exactly what I loved. Every book it’s a different ride some are happier than other but this one was like a hurricane that just messed up with mines. The emotional intensity of the story felt so real that made my heart arched. There are tons of strong FMC out there, but I believe Jenna is one of the best ones. Go girl!!! What I wasn’t expecting was the story to be shorter!! My life had been chaotic and my free time was practically zero so I was like ‘okay 10 minutes every 2 hours I must read faster’ and turned out the length was that much yet it was a challenge finishing reading it wit so little time but hey, I made it and I’m proud of me!! I can’t go without praising her relationship with Kaz. Nothing is ever easy but you’ll get understand more about that.”

Para-Psych takes you back into the story, but instead of Tara being the focus, we get her best friend instead. This addition to the duology fleshes out the other side of the storyline. In this book, you get Jenna's side and the things that she goes through before she meets the man who claims her for his mate.
The author gives readers Jenna's viewpoint throughout this book. In some aspects, it's a good thing and is engaging, in others, it's a bit redundant and got boring.
Jenna has some engaging moments, and overall I found her to be an interesting character, but she's still pretty flawed when you get down to it. I appreciate and like her loyalty to her friend Tara, but sometimes she just took things a bit far. I do like that we get some of Tara as well and her thoughts/reactions to certain situations.
A big plus for the author is the warnings. They aren't just at the beginning of the book. The warnings are continued into the book in the appropriate places so that readers can make the right decisions for themselves when it comes to reading certain aspects of this book.
This book has its ups and downs, but it nicely rounds out the whole storyline at the end of the day. I'm choosing to rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

I have really enjoyed reading this story, this time we see things from Jenna’s side as well as Kaz and it is quite the emotional rollercoaster! R.N.A is a fantastic storyteller. The attention to detail, world building , character development, the flow and pace of the story makes this one an easy story to get lost in. This is not a light read book. This is darker, grittier and absolutely riveting . Jenna and Kaz take us on a journey that has you feeling all the emotions and it is worth every single second ! I definitely enjoyed the different perspectives in this story. I always find it adds more depth and insight , giving you a better understanding of the overall story and better immersing us as the reader into the story. I am so glad I decided to try out this authour, this is a unique and creative series, not the genre I usually read and It's been a fantastic experience , even if my emotions are all over the place!

Wow. My brain is still spinning just a little and I really don’t think I have the right words to describe what I went through while reading this. I truly appreciated the author’s trigger warnings. The content didn’t negatively impact me the way I thought it might, but it was very reassuring to have the heads up, nonetheless. After having seen it from Tara and Hyder’s perspective and knowing what would be coming, I wasn’t expecting Kaz and Jenna’s story to feel quite so ‘tragic’ in the moment. But my dear heaven, it’s going to take a while for my emotions to level out after that. I loved that we got a couple of scenes from characters I wasn’t expecting. And in the end, it was the perfect way to close out this chapter about the Talachans.

Jenna, a government scientist with a not so loving past, finds herself drawn to Kazeer, general to a hidden people, when she runs into him at a club. As the story progresses their attraction blooms, a war looms, and the final battle may send them to their doom. R.N.A. Author took the events from Parasite and told them from the perspective of the other main couple. This book is not a retelling in anyway. You just get a glimpse behind the scenes of Jenna and Kaz in this one and slightly different views of the scenes. This couple went through their own trials, tribulations, and tragedies to make the book differ from the other. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.

It was interesting to see things from Jenna and Kaz point of view, this book also allowed us to see more of what happen when Tara is in stasis.
I liked Jenna in book 1 , i understand her better now in book 2 i was not always happy with her choices but i kind of understand her most of the time and she is so perfect for Kaz. I do not approve of her side job at all and what she suffered is no excuses in my eyes but i do admire her courage.
We do get the epilogue this time and it's HEA but the way to it is sure hard and dark so i appreciated teh warning the author gave us and how she made some of the chapters so you could skip them and still enjoy the story

This time, the story focuses on Kaz and Jenna, the events from their point of view complementing the whole picture as the other side of the story from Tara's POV in Parasite. It follows Jenna in both the exciting and less exciting moments, shows her feelings and her mind. I appreciated the more in-depth look at her personality, her flaws and qualities, and her contribution to the whole story, even though I had some moments when my interest was weakening and I was not so motivated to continue. Nevertheless I appreciate the alternating POV that creates a much better picture overall, and in addition the story flowed nicely, the world building was perfect down to every detail, and the setup was quite unique. I am glad I gave the series a shot.

I was really excited to read this book after I read Parasite, because I absolutely adored Jenna, and I couldn't wait to see her perspective.
For the most part this book delivered exactly what it promised! We got to really understand Jenna, her feelings and her relationship with Kaz, and what lead to their future together.
I just wish that Jenna felt more like a main character, even in her own story she felt very much like a secondary character, and I think that reflects how she feels in her own ife, and how she prioritizes Tara, but it left me feeling for her.
Just like in the first book it feels like you get three books for one, which is great!

Well honestly this was not what I expected from this book. I am quite new to ready book by R.N.A and this talented author has surprised me with Jenna and Kaz’s story. It really shows things from a different perspective and Nan ford it tug on the heartstrings! This book has you feeling all the emotions what just hoping for the best for these MCs. This author though rides epically long hold that absolutely grab your attention and make you invested in her characters…and man do these characters come alive as you read! Great, emotional read by a very talented author.

This authors 2nd book hits just as hard as her debut novel. This book takes you on an epically emotional journey that wrings every single emotion out of you, right until the last page. It's not your typical mainstream read so go in expecting the unexpected. Jenna's story is just worth it and I loved every second of it. I can't wait for more work from this author.

Wow, I was hooked on this book from the beginning all the way till the end. It moves along at a pace which is the perfect fit for this story. It has amazing characters that you cant help but love and you want to know more about them. This book is a must read that needs to be at the top of your TBR list. There is no doubt about it.

We get to focus on Jenna and Katz in this book. Jenna is definitely different and doesnt care what anyone thinks. She doesnt always get along with her family. Jenna is supper smart though.She gets entered into the same world as Tara from book 1 and meets Katz. This book takes you on a nitty gritty ride as they fall in love and deal with everything. I absolutley over it.

I am usually unsure on reading the same story told by a different character.... This author changed my mind. The writing is amazing and even though it's supposed to be the same it's so not. I loved these characters. I liked them from the first book, now I absolutely love them and their love for each other. You would regret not reading this one!!! Definitely worth the read!!

This is from Jenna's POV and shows through her and Kaz's eyes. Be prepared to go on an emotional roller coaster. You will find out so many things that you didn't know. This is only the authors 2nd book and I can not wait until her next book. Well done on another hit.

Really good story. I enjoyed book 1 but I think I liked this one even more. Absolutely loved Jenna’s story. Really loved be able to read it with her as main character. Meaning her point of view. Just loved her and Kaz. I was totally hooked and read story in one night. Definitely recommend reading.

Please check triggers Jenna and Katz and Tara story in Para Psych is as big an emotional rollercoaster ride as the first book. I was feeling lots of things reading this one. And crying sometimes as well. And we also get the Wedding of Jenna and Kazear which I loved reading.

I loved getting to see Jennas POV and watching as she helps Tara and works towards uncovering secrets so that just maybe she can get her wedding. This book was another great addition to the series.

This is Jenna and Kaz’s book, I truly enjoyed how it not only gave us Jenna’s POV but also others. It creates more depth to the individual characters and we can truly understand why something happened from their point of view, versus how another character understood those exact moments in time from their own understanding.
Jenna was always a little dark and definitely walked to the beat of a different drum since she was young, This created a chasm between her and her family. Still Jenna managed to have fantastic grades and went off to achieve her dreams of higher learning with zero expectations of life changing. But it does, some of her greatest achievements happened at college , and some of her worst moments too, but she did find a lifelong friend who would become one of her greatest alleys and with her love and support they later entered into a world of the Para where she meets Tara’s mate Hyder’s brother Kaz and they fall in love, but then the events in Russia happened and all that Jenna and Tara found crumble beneath their feet.
This is a gritty and sometimes painful story of characters growth, it takes us through highs and lows, winds us up like a top, only to let us spin before letting us level out…in other words it gives us ALL the feels. Sometimes I had to put the book down and walk away from the chaos of Jenna and Kaz’s life. But I’d definitely return, because if I’m being honest, it’s like glancing at a wreck on the freeway. You DON’T want to look, but you need to know as much of the gory details as you can find out!
If you are looking for a light reading book…this is not for you,but if you’re like me and enjoy the dark and harder side of life, the dig your hands in the dirt and get messy…then is is EXACTLY the book for you.
You have to go through the very lows to enjoy their highs!!! Yes, there are definitely delicious and sexy and cuddling highs which are worth everything!!!
So run and download this book!!! Then settle in for a wild and crazy journey.

It takes tremendous courage to break free from every day and give yourself over to the pursuit of your passion. It takes monstrous will to force yourself past the point where that passion becomes torture and threatens to suck every ounce of joy from your life. It takes strength to turn that passion into product... to take hundreds of scribbled lines on scraps of paper, dozens of saved files and hours of brutal editing and force them into a generally acceptable format. It takes desperate hope, blind ambition, immeasurable pluck and a spark of the divine to push beyond the rest and submit your passion to the world for judgement.
No matter if you love it or hate it, R.N.A. has all of the above in spades, and my unending admiration for her perseverance and her panache. She may have only just started along this journey, but she is on her way to wherever her gifts will take her - and THAT is being an author. You go, girl!

I was really impressed with the broad span of time, relationships, events, and emotions in Parasite. RNA's sequel isn't so much a sequel, as it is the fleshed out story we had to guess at in Parasite's time gaps, hints, and fade to black events. But that doesn't in any way make it boring, or redundant.
RNA has figured out how to write epic love stories, full of passion, misunderstanding, and action that makes me dizzy to consider. These types of authors write differently, seeing a life long adventure, whereas most authors only see and write about snippets of a life. This duet is the type of romance story with "paranormal-lite" I would recommend for those who love the big adventure stories from Tolkien, Rowling, and C.S. Lewis. There is spice, but the core of it is based on the personal relationships, grounded in time and trust, and a war that could end the world.
I sincerely hope that RNA continues her writing, and continues to bring us these big sweeping stories.

It's funny how you'd think a different point of view from the exact same events won't make a difference. Boy, is that wrong! I love Jenna's story, and hers and Kaz's love. There was so much more to the story than what we got to see in Parasite, but, like then - once you pick this book up, you just can't put it down. The trigger warnings for this book are important, but I really like that there are continuous warnings and options to skip those parts, if that's too much for you, so that it's your choice. That way, you don't have to miss out on this wonderful story.
It's heartbreakingly beautiful, tragic, horrible and wonderful all at once. You won't want to miss it!

Para-Psych, the second book in the Para-Series by R.N.A. Author was a fabulous continuation of Parasite and an epic conclusion to this duet!
This story was an interesting tale from the last one, but mostly for Jenna’s view and all about her journey and the love that her and Kaz had. This story is heartbreakingly tragic, but oh so beautiful and RNA did a phenomenal job of once again crafting such an intricate tale in a new intriguing world.
If you love an good emotional heart wrenching story that is a super intense emotional roller coaster rod a ride that’s a quick read, then this is the one for you. Just remember, as always, be sure to check the trigger warnings first before diving in, but if you loved the first—trust me. You’re doing to want to take a deep, deep dive!

I liked the first book, but I loved this one. Jenna was fleshed out so well and similar to Tara I was not always happy with the decisions she made and she really had me angry at times, but she also did some things that helped me let go of this grudge I was holding toward Tara. Jenna and Kaz's love story stole the show. They were so mature, open with each other, way too cute together. This book will have you fully invested in their relationship and will take you on a ride with all the emotions while we see where the storyline takes them and the Talachan people…

This is a great follow up to Parasite, I enjoyed reading this story from Jenna and Kaz's Points of view! I love how the story is filled with surprises for the reader and Romance, which is a favorite of mine in a story!!! Great Read and I will be looking for more from this author!!! No Spoilers!

I found the first book hard to get into but not this one. I really enjoyed seeing it from Jenna’s point of view and following her journey. Again strong female lead with lots of emotions throughout. I love how the two books link and intertwine together I feel like I like the first one more now. Highly recommend reading both books.

Thought book one was good? Wait until you read book two! It is incredible and be warned it’s very emotional. It’s well paced and the world building is amazing and with a storyline that’s exciting and thrilling this grabs you and holds on tight. Throw in a few twists and a little romance and some great characters will they get their happy ever after?
