Alina is a depressed and lonely adult with a haunted past. Her only source of light is her best friend, Ana. For over a year, Ana tried to convince her to go on a week-long trip to Cancún, Mexico and finally after relentlessly begging, Alina agrees to go. They made it safely to their beautiful resort and everything is picture-perfect. Everything changes when she runs into the mysterious Adrian Gustavo and his sister, Catalina. Adrian is confident, handsome, persistent and quickly becomes infatuated with Alina. Their meeting turns complicated when she meets his brooding, unruly, yet sexy older brother, Marco Gustavo. Soon her fate becomes intertwined with both brothers and she is thrust into yet another chaos in her life.
Alina finds herself trapped under Marco's grasp and he reveals why Adrian is obsessed with her. The truth sent Alina into a dark and dangerous place that she had worked hard for many years to get out of. Marco is impressed by Alina's bravery and innocence and as much as he doesn't want to, he becomes enamored by her. Faced with yet another difficult decision, will Alina choose one of the brothers or will she walk away?
That ending was unexpected, to say the very least. I'm unsure what I fully feel for the story. I absolutely love Alina. It takes incredible courage to stand up for those you love, let alone when you yourself are terrified. She has incredible strength, and I love her so much for it. Her anxiety, all her fears, and the nightmare she was living through would cripple anyone. She didn't buckle. She fought. She stood strong. That is admirable. Marco and Adrian are not on my good list yet. I'm unsure if I want Alina with either of them, both of them, or one or the other. It's so confusing. My feelings are all jumbled up. Catalina grew on me, and I grew to really understand her. Two, well three, very strong female characters in this book. Ana, Alina, and Catalina. All I want is all 3 of them safe and ok. The only thing I didn't really like was how long it was. It could have been at least 50 pages shorter. That is literally my only complaint. The characters are complicated. The plot is convoluted and confusing. I have no idea what to feel, who to feel for, or how to go on with two more books to go 😭😭
This book was really slow for me and almost hard to finish, i severely skimmed a good chunk of it once i got to about 30%. The plot was just okay i feel as if the book has too much unnecessary information and not enough necessary information. For example, it never goes back to ana at one point she just disappears from the story same as Juan. Alina was way to naive and gullible for me, i never understood how it went from ana's parents working with the FBI for find Ana and then that part of the book just never comes back up. Marco and Adrian's feud was also weird and didn't really seem to have a place in the book as that story line never played itself out and we never saw Adrian and Catalina again. I also didnt quite understand how it came full circle either because that was the end of the book. We dont know how she leaves the island, where ana and her family is, where diegos daughter is, what adrian and catalina is or if they are alive and we also dont know if their father ever comes looking for them. This book just has too many loose ends and unnecessary information to be as good as it has the potential to be. Also, there is literally 3 not well written spicy scenes in the entire book. spice 2/5.
Alina had a rough upbringing and having to see her mom go through that traumatized her with ptsd. She is shy, reserved, used to just being in the shadows and The friendship between Alina and Ana is admirable. Ana brings her out of her shell without compromising who Alina. As soon as she meets Adrian something is up, he refers to Alina as “her”. Things start to get crazier after the encounter with his cartel family and there’s a lot of repetitiveness with kidnapping, Marco being a monster, and Alina having no self worth. The plot line definitely kept you interested for more, all the twists that happened I didn’t expect and I as I was finishing hing up the last chapters I did not expect what happened. This gave some dark romance, possessive MMC vibes, and heroine FMC. I would recommend reading her book!!

This story actually angered me from very the first pages, to the point I almost put the book down. Not because of the triggers, or because of the writing but because a 7 year old shouldn’t know the official term of what her dad did to her mom. I felt reading, I actually could not put this story down, in fact I devoured it. Was it perfect? No. We’re there errors, yes. But looking beyond that this story was EVERYTHING. There was so much going on that I was never bored, the plot kept going and not in a way where it was too much, in a way where my eyes were bugging out not realizing the book was going that way. And the ending was the best ending EVER. I give so many kudos and so much guts to this author. I praise every word for bringing things full circle. Incredible.
I really enjoyed this book. I was in a book slump when I started this and im very much a mood reader, but after a few chapters in I was hooked! I really felt like I connected with Alina, the main character and to see character growth was great. The book overall is realistic I felt and could happen in real life. This was a quick paced thriller romance and I enjoyed it so much, it didn’t feel rushed at all. There were twists I didn’t see coming, and the ending wasn’t predictable (in my opinion). I enjoyed the spice in the novel, I didn’t feel like it took away from the book.
Read if you like - Dark romance - Fast paced - Twists
Honestly, I struggled through this. The ideas were great but the execution and amount of fluff was hard to read. The dialogue was choppy and uncomfortable at best. The twist at the end was pretty good and the first and only time I liked the self-loathing, complaining main character. But I wish that it hadn’t been alluded to earlier in the book. All in all, it wasn’t a horrible start at writing a novel, and I think with good editing and peer review, the author could definitely grow and create some really cool storylines.
It was a slow start but once I got into it, it was a crazy story. So many times I got angry & had to stop for a bit, but I couldn't leave it for too long. I had to know what happened. It's A LOT. I loved the main character, Alina. Her courage, her loyalty, her resilience, her inner demons, everything about her. Id love to have a friend like her. I wanted more from the ending but I'm glad that Alina finally took a stand. It reminds me of one of those psychological thriller movies you have to watch a few times to make sure you catch everything. I may have to circle back to this one 😉
I can’t describe the different emotions I felt reading reading this book ! You can’t help but love and feel the FMC. She’s vulnerable and traumatized, yet such a strong, beautiful and amazing person. You’ll fall in love with the characters yet hate them at the same time. This story was beautifully written. You see the growth in the FMC through out the story. And the twists just come at you left and right. Absolutely amazing read.
This book was so good! I suffer from anxiety and depression and this book definitely accurately portrays the inner workings of a mind that suffers from mental health issues. I loved the main character, Ana, even though at times I just wanted to shake her and ask what the hell she was thinking. This book pulled my every which way possible and I absolutely cannot wait for the second one to come out as this one ended on a cliffhanger. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
If you take advice on one thing in your life it’s don’t read this book.
No happy ending Just an absolute shit show from one word to the next.
The writing is terrible. I don’t know if the authors first language is English but it reads as if t isn’t. How this was published is beyond me. I finished it because I wanted to see what happened and absolutely nothing happens. A disaster from start to finish. Save your life time and energy and just skip it.
Super fun, entertaining story. Lots of twists and turns, with a great ending I did not expect! My ladies who love spice, will love this (I prefer more low to moderate spice personally) and I have a hard time with captor/captive romances, which is where I struggled a bit. Overall, a good, solid novel.
*I was given a free copy of the book for my honest feedback*
This book one insane from page one! Alina went through so much and Marco and his whole mafia family were just crazy. The lengths this man would go to find Alina were baffling. Like dude take a hint. She’s just not that into. Especially after all the shit you put her and her bestie through. So good. Definitely couldn’t stop reading. And a definite five stars.
Impeccable writing and riveting story. There were a lot of plot twists and the ending was the ultimate one. It had some dark themes but overall, they fit the bill. I only wish things would have been different between Alina and Marco, but I guess CC wanted the story to be as realistic as it can be.
Overall, hands-down to this entertaining read 😊

I enjoyed this book. There were enough twists and turns to keep me guessing, along with enough drama. The characters were ok…I ended up liking the villain more than I should (but that may say more about me). The ending, I get, the romantic in me was still hoping for something different but I’ll think about this one often.
Alina had a horrible child hood that lead her to be very fearful and hesitant to do anything, until she met Ana. Years of friendship has led them both to Mexico where they unintentionally catch the eye of one of the most powerful cartels in the world. Now Alina has to save Ana and herself from these men.
Trigger warnings for r*pe and abuse. This thriller took a turn and I wasn’t expecting any of that to happen. The ending I felt was rushed and some questions weren’t answered but I think there’s a second book. This book did its just job lol it was thrilling. I am honestly very conflicted on my feelings for this book so for now I’ll put 3 stars. I don’t know!
THIS THRILLER. The story was full and the relationships, friendships, experiences.. wow. It honestly can make you question the world around you. So fast-paced but easy to keep up with but I love LOVED the romance being a bit on the dark side! Definitely will recommend it!
This book was great! The beginning was a bit slow and took a bit to get to the good part, but once the action hit it didn’t stop! There was some romance, smut, thrills and suspense. I really recommend this book if you enjoy action movies because that’s what it felt like.
Holy shit! This book is amazing. It’s fast pace with relatable characters and I can totally see something like this happening. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves sake romance with mafias and a twist on the ending that I did NOT seeing coming at all!!!
There is some TW to research before you read this book. I loved this book. The plot was really good and the story was written really well. I love Alina. She is an inspiration for those going through problems
This book definitely started with a slow start. I was determined to finish it though and OH MY GOD WAS I GLAD I DID! this book was absolutely PHENOMENAL and I really hope it has a sequel because what about Adrian? Catalina?! Ana?
First TRIGGER WARNING there is many mentions and details of R@pe and @buse in this book with no warning. This book was very unique and had a quick paced action packed story line! The ending was nothing I would have expected! I would definitely read a second book if the author made one!
Full Circle by C. C. Y was sooo good! I did not know what I was getting myself into, but I COULD NOT put it down. Alina is an amazing, relatable protagonist that only grows stronger as the books goes on. I also love when the antagonist is dynamic. I loved to hate and hated to love Marcos
This book. Just wowd me. It was so good! I was not expecting what happened. It was slow moving in the beginning but after the half way mark I FLEW threw it because it was so good! I definitely would recommend this to all of my friends!
The book kept you on an emotional rollercoaster for sure! I gave it two stars because of the ending. It was so abrupt and I felt like it could have been wrapped up a lot better. It just kind of left you hanging with more questions.
Book review! Book: Full Circle Author: C.C. Y Rate: 4.3/5 🌟 3/5🌶️ Genre: Romance, Thriller, Cartel
How can a trip to Cancun with your best friend end in a nightmare??? That’s the question that poor Alina asked herself she’s trying to escape Marco the Drug lord older son! Alina and her friend Anna go to Cancun for a getaway vacation… everything was good till Alina bumped into Catalina by accident and Adrian who looked at her with wide eyes due to her having resemblance of someone they knew!!! That’s when Alina’s life turned upside down without her realizing!!! If you into cartel novels this is a book for you!!!
3.5/5 stars! This book absolutely sucked me in and kept me on my toes. My first mafia book in a while and I definitely remember why I enjoy them! Hell of a debut novel.
This book was definitely not what I was expecting! Lots of twists and turns but kept me engaged the entire time! Read the book in one sitting! Highly recommend.
