Carefree Todd Sherman hasn’t been serious about a woman for years, until a brunette beauty with a thousand-watt smile crosses his path. Taking her college class seems like a great idea until one night he gives her a ride home and her lack of response to his admission leaves him retreating.
***
With a tarnished reputation and current status as her student, Todd Sherman doesn’t stand a chance with the gorgeous American Sign Language teacher. Her sweet, caring ways make him want to abandon his bachelor lifestyle for a real relationship. A failed attempt at asking Rachael Levans out results in a one-eighty from the former cocksure civil engineer. Now he buries himself in work, living life on autopilot.
Rachael isn’t prepared for the romantic interest from a suave and sexy friend turned student. Unlucky in love, her nerves soar whenever he’s near making her revert to old speech tricks to mask a stutter. His heart the size of Texas and old fashioned, gentlemanly manners draw her in and tempt her to cast aside her fears.
After circumstances force them to share a tent, will the small town of Harmony, Texas witness a broken hero and heroine come perfectly together through self-healing?
Stacey Komosinski grew up in a small Pennsylvania town strongly influenced by her mother's passion for reading. She read her first romance novel in her early twenties and hasn't stopped. She writes both romantic comedy and slow burn contemporary romance. The reader can expect "SWEET HEAT" in all of her books, where a romantic relationship develops slowly. It is built on mutual love and respect, culminating in a powerfully passionate love story. Her books are bound to make your toes curl and laugh out loud along the way to a HEA.
Stacey holds a master’s degree in molecular biology and is employed as a supply chain product leader in the pharmaceutical industry. She makes the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania her home with her husband, Teddy, and their large blended family.
If you are privy to romance books and you have not discovered contemporary romance author, Stacey Komosinski... you should!
I greatly enjoyed her latest book, "Finding Our Perfect (Finding Happiness in Harmony #5)." Such a sweet little romance that made me remember that love can blossom anytime, anywhere, for anyone.
The world building in this book created a setting that cushioned Rachael and Todd's budding romance so beautifully, the story progressed seamlessly and most importantly, felt realistic. Despite their personal issues, these two draw each other out and find a oneness that makes you cheer for their union.
I like reading close proximity romances as they give the readers a special insight to the characters' interactions as their relationship unfurls. I find the "coziness" most appealing. (I have a new appreciation for tents!)
Give this lovely book a try. It is very well written in an engaging style that made it a pleasant read.
It is finally here! I have been waiting for this love story ever since I introduced Todd as Chris's brother in book 1 - Finding It All. You get a good dose of Todd in not just Finding It All but also in book 4: Finding Promises. He's not serious about women or relationships. Find out why in Finding Our Perfect. Available on Amz now as eBook (also in KU) and Paperback. Rachael cracks him wide open and brings out the cinnamon roll lover in him.
This book also brings to you real life situations layered in between fun times with family and friends. It's a full package in my signature "sweet heat" style that will have you asking for the next book in the series. (Insider info: the next book, Book 6, will come out later this year - I'm almost done with the first draft). Keep following me for more details to come over the summer.
Thank you to Author Stacey Komosinski for providing me with an ARC of this book ahead of release. All opinions are my own.
I was fresh to the series and read this book as a stand alone. It's definitely possible to jump in here without having read the other books; there was more than enough background given to understand the character dynamics and environment.
I enjoyed the storyline, however found that I began to lose my focus as the 🔥 scenes increased. For me, they were quite repetitive and as they were so similar (exact same descriptive wording for many aspects) they didn't draw me further into the plot. I also really didn't like the third act drama; the response by the MMC gave me huge red flags and didn't match with the vibe the Author had been giving the relationship throughout, with him being 'the dream good guy'. As such, I was then dissatisfied with the ending which is a frustrating feeling.
I completely acknowledge that for some people, the points above may not be issues at all so it really is a case of personal preference. Give the book a read for yourself and see ❤
Well I have read all her books and I love her writing and every book contains beautiful stories.
This book is about Rachael who has a very bad track record in dating and Todd who has trust issues. When these two met they were in a State were they can't date and things started changing and they are struggling with their life and they struggled to cope up with their feelings for each other and stuffs happened but at the end it's a HEA. These characters are different from the other and was well written.
In this book there are few sensitive topics which was well written.
It's a small town romance with lots of happy moments and lots of angst and you will like it. Definitely go for this book.
Also check out the first 3 books in this series which is my most favourite you will definitely love it.
The story of a group of friends and family in Harmony, TX continues in Stacey Komosinski's new release, "Finding Our Perfect." it's an entertaining read yet introduces us to some important issues in the Special Needs Education System. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next volume in the series that is in the works. Enjoy!
𝐌𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒: When the author asked me if I'd like to read an arc of 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭, I absolutely jumped at the chance to head back to Harmony after thougherly loving previous books in the series and I am happy to report that this beautiful addition did not disappoint in any way!.
The author has done a 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 job at handling some delicate subjects in this romance. She has handled them with such care, and because of that, I really fell hard for these characters through her writing.
Rachel & Todd's love story is not a simple one. They both have obstacles they need to overcome in order to get their happily-ever-after, but their chemistry, connection, and determination make this an unmissable romance of swoonworthy magic. Add in the forced proximity & small town elements, and you've got a winning in my mind. I highly recommend it.
I loved being back in Harmony and had such a great time reading Finding Our Perfect. It was sweet and swoony with romance and just enough spice. The story was well written and entertaining. It pulls at your heartstrings and you can’t help but love Todd and Rachael. This book was a great addition to the series. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is my second book by Stacey Komosinski and I was happy to get back to the small town of Harmony. I got a hint of Todd and Rachel's story in Finding Promises and was looking forward to their stories. Rachel has managed a stutter for most of her life and the author did a good job of incorporating this without making it the central aspect of the character. Turns out Todd is quite the gentlemen (hooray), worthy of his redemption story. Oh, and there is some sweet heat in this book. Well done.
I have read a few of Stacey Komosinski’s books and I have not ever been disappointed! This book discusses the topics of sign language, stuttering and past traumas quite well. I enjoyed reading this book about Todd and Rachael. They have both been through so much and still have a ways to go. Especially it they can learn to talk to each other. I am voluntarily leaving this review.
Wonderful read. Stacey did a wonderful job presenting a special needs teacher and how she worked with adults and children. I fell in love with Rachael easily as she reminded me of my own daughter. A sweet HEA romance, with a bit of spice! This isn’t the first book I’ve read in the series nor will it be the last. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a sweet romance with some steam that’s a HEA! Stacey did not disappoint once again! Looking forward to the next book.
What a sweet story - loved reading about Rachel and Todd and how they both have to work through their past trauma with relationships to come together and find each other. Rachel has to deal with stuttering and some pretty bad dates while Todd has to learn to trust again after his ex really hurt him. It's a sweet story and has it's ups and downs for all of the characters. Of course something happens to destroy the trust but they eventually find themselves back together. Overall - definitely take a read - worth your time!
I have been waiting for Rachel and Todd's story for a while. These two intrigued me the first time they were introduced to us in a previous book. MS. Komosinski delivers a sweet somewhat friends-to-lovers romance that was such a joy to read. Rachel has overcome a lot in her life but still has reservations about putting herself out there for love. Having to deal with being centred out as a child because of her stuttering as well as having dates not what she is looking for or they treat her differently, she has given up on dating. Well, that is until Todd takes her sign language class and she sees another side of him. Todd has had the reputation of a player because of what happened in his past. He wants to change his lifestyle and he wants to have Rachel as part of this new life. A camping trip, a collapsed tent and sharing a tent with one another see them admitting their feelings for one another. Is this the beginning of a sweet relationship? Can Rachel see that Todd has changed? Will the miscommunication that has happened between them get rectified? Can the two of them trust one another? I cannot say enough about this storyline. It is sweet, full of emotions and chemistry, hard to put down and easy to get pulled-in romance. Ms. Komosinski always writes such beautiful stories that people can relate to as well as believable and Finding Our Perfect is one of those books. I highly recommend picking up this outstanding book and making sure you have a good amount of time to read it.
Finding Our Perfect is the 5th book from Finding Happiness in Harmony series. Now we get to have a Todd Sherman and Rachael Levans story. (Todd is Chris' brother from books 1 and 4.)
The previous books have established that Todd is carefree and hasn't been serious about a woman in a long time. However, this started to change when he met Rachael Levans and got to know her better.
In this book, I loved Todd's and Rachael's characters. Here are a few reasons why: Todd - Todd's candor: The way it's so easy for him to say what he feels or thinks - Todd is attentive and observant to other people: This was when he gave his mom a ticket to a book signing event of her favorite author as a gift.
Rachael - Growing up with a stutter and overcoming it. - Teaching ASL and choosing a special education teacher as a profession to help students who need it.
What I love about this book: This book is not just a love story. It is also about personal growth, Todd and Rachael's growth as a couple, inspiring family relationships, and admirable and supportive friendships. Of course, it's a bonus that there are bits and pieces of Cami and Seth's follow-up story. Also, reading some parts of this book made me miss my mom, especially when Tarah mentioned that she misses her mom's cooking.
Overall, this book landed as one of my favorites in this series. I'm already excited about the next book.
A teacher/student love story about taking risks and trying again.
Rachel Levans is unlucky in love and isn’t prepared when her new student in her sign language class turns out to be sexy playboy, Todd Sherman. The man has a reputation for being a player, and she can’t help but get tongue tied (literally) whenever he’s near. But she soon realizes he has a good heart, and she’s drawn to him, tempting her to be brave. So brave, in fact, they end up sharing a tent (forced proximity is one of my favorite tropes!) It’s sweet with just the right amount of spice.
If you love a good second-chance love story featuring a broken hero and heroine, and a guaranteed HEA, then you need to check this one out.
This is the first book I’ve read by Stacey Komosinski.
There’s an apparent attraction between Rachael and Todd. Unfortunately, past relationships have left them feeling jaded and insecure. So, pursuing a new romantic relationship is quite the challenge. After a few hiccups they finally get their HEA.
I love that everyone knows everyone in small town romances. It’s absolutely comforting and creates such a magical atmosphere within stories. Stacey does a beautiful job connecting all characters in the book. I wouldn’t mind living in Harmony amongst Rachael and Todd, and their circle of friends and family.
Overall, it’s a cute entertaining romance that will have you smiling, slapping your forehead, laughing, and swooning.
3.5 rounded up to 4 Todd and Rachael have an adorable build-up to their romance. Both are wary of relationships and have their own insecurities but they can't fight the attraction they have for one another. Having Todd as her pupil in sign language is a major obstacle but it allows the two of them to get to know each other while keeping a friendly distance. I really liked how their romance developed however I would have liked a secondary storyline with some drama to add an extra layer of excitement to keep me turning the pages. However, there are plenty of repetitive steamy scenes for readers who like that. Overall, a sweet and steamy addition to the series.
In the Harmony series' first book, Stacy introduced us to its characters, whose friendship has grown stronger despite life's changes. The author beautifully depicts the love, support, and camaraderie that they share from the outset. Rachael has been patiently waiting in the wings for her happily ever after, and Todd proves to be her perfect match. I appreciate the inclusion of special needs education in the storyline. Overall, Harmony and its characters have captured our hearts, and I eagerly anticipate the next installment.
Book Five in the Happiness in Harmony series is Todd and Rachel's chance at love. This forced proximity, small town love story pulls at your heartstrings. If you like Tessa Bailey's open door scenes you might enjoy the wait for this slow burn which definitely will raise your core temperature a degree (or ten!) Well done author.
Small Town Romance…Sweet and Sexy Moments…An eventful camping trip…and a couple you simply can’t get enough of. Todd and Rachel found a love that was match made for them. Stacey did a wonderful job with the themes that surrounded this book and gave a love story you couldn’t help but cheer for from the start!!
Finding Our Perfect is most definitely sweet with heat! It’s swoony, romantic, and has just the right amount of spice. This beautiful love story is well written and I appreciate Stacey’s delicate handling of special needs. Your heartstrings will be tugged as you fall in love with Todd and Rachael.
Falling for the teacher... Rachael is a teacher both in public school special education and teaching sign language to adults in the community college. I was impressed by the author writing this and making it an important part of the book. I especially loved the way the author incorporated Rachael's challenged student's creativity into the best part of the book! Doing both of these things gave the reader a feeling of a genuine bond with Rachael.
