Yuki’s been reborn in another world as a demon lord—and his new life is going swimmingly! He continues strengthening his dungeon with his makeshift family of monster girls until, one day, a heroine arrives on their doorstep to take down the demon lord. Or, at least, that’s what she says before breaking into tears because the traps are too scary! Curious and unable to resist lending a helping hand, Yuki heads out to welcome the hapless heroine.

The group then decides to take a trip to a human settlement with their new friend. They all have a blast as they go around shopping, eating, and sightseeing, but the fun comes to an abrupt halt when a ghost appears out of nowhere and starts attacking the townspeople one after another. Can the demon lord who just wants to live the good life pass judgment on this new enemy?!

I feel that this Book 2 is not as good as the first book. The Demon Lord, Yuki, main character, is a reincarnated into a Demon Lord from another world Isekai story series. I felt this book 2 all over the place and do not really know where this story is going. Although Yuki is the Demon Lord (main antagonist in this other world), he does everything possible to control and protect the people living close to his territories. More than the people of those territories. It's because the author has made him so incredibly Over-Powered (OP).
His all female Loli-harem-retinue has grown, it now has Nell the Heroine, and a set of triplet wraith/ghost/spirit sisters. Story is not that funny, but it's all positive except maybe that in the English translations, every interaction with Yuki, main character, starts or includes profanity. Because this series targets minors and young adults, I do not understand why a Western publisher company/translator would include profanity since profanity is considered obscenity and is a crime to promote to underage readers. There are no warnings on the cover or inside about the excessive use of profanity. The sad thing is that it is unneeded, usually "bad words" are used by people that lack the language skills to communicate properly.
This Dungeon Lord doesn't really have a Dungeon, and thanks to the Fenrir, at least now they have a lot of Monsters that have been forced into submission and now live in the Dungeon Lord's territories. Don't know where the story is going, don't know why the author is filling the story with more and more Loli's girls...There is already more than 8 in the Demon Lord's retinue.
So, sloth and gluttony are main ingredients in this story and well, the author's pedophillic urges/tendencies...

(Read on J-Novel Club.)

Having found his place in the dungeon, it is time for the world to take in interest in Yuki or at least by those negatively impacted by events in the previous volumes. Yuki himself is not too bothered with the whole plotting, dealing with things as they come by, including paying the outside world a visit as a tourist while flirting a bit with Lefi.

The story is fairly typical for an isekai OP protagonist, and nothing changed much with this volume. Yuki has an easy life, while acting like a bit like a chūnibyō (except that in his case the feelings of grandeur are not illusions). Sometimes his behaviour and that of those around him is entertaining, more often it is exasperating to me. Add in the system lacking any rhyme or reason and the rather cliche predictable story and it resulted in me feeling the story lacking. I can see others liking it, but it is not my thing.

A super fun read all the way to the end!

The second book was a worthy installment, with action and laughs all the way to the end! The characters are much more strongly developed in this volume and the overall plotline is fleshed out nicely as well. Worth every penny, buy it!

wow!

Yeah, I do love it when writers are grand enough not to just target the young adults but also, everyone else with their clever and imaginative writing style as well!
