What if a PIG got stuck up your NOSE? How ever would you get it out?
When Natalie has to go to school with a pig stuck up her nose, her whole class gets together to find a way to get the pig out. But how will they do it?
The zany humour of Sue Hendra (of Supertato and Barry the Fish with Fingers fame) meets Babe the Pig in this funny picture book. This delightfully silly tale, brought to life by warm, comical artwork from rising star Laura Hughes, will have children giggling and oinking out loud to try to work out how to get a farmyard animal out of someone's nose.
The perfect picture book for boys and girls aged 3 years and up – or for anyone who has ever got something stuck up their nose!
"This very funny, sweet story won the hearts of the judging panel. Oink!" @oscarsbookprize
"The surprise comes right at the start, and what a wonderfully dotty premise to begin a story with, about problem solving in the classroom. Brilliantly structured too" – Julia Eccleshare
"Everything about There's a Pig Up My Nose! is entrancing, from the title onwards; it also features the best PE excuse note ever" – The Guardian

This is one of my favourite picture books for children, ever! First of all, children absolutely LOVE it. Secondly, I, as an adult even love it. And third, the illustrations are hilarious. Everytime I read this book to my class they end up in stitches. It's requested at least once a week by a child begging me to read it. By the end of the book all the children imagine themselves having an animal of some sort up their own nose.. and some even admit that it's happened before! (They're 4 years old so the imaginations run wild). It's a beautiful, hilarious and addictive book that should be in ever house and classroom!
There’s a Pig Up My Nose is an exciting picture book about a girl who has to spend a day in school with a pig up her nose. As the reader, we follow this girl as she and her fellow classmates and teachers try and find a solution to getting the pig out of her nose. This is a brilliant and relatable book for primary school children particularly for anyone that has had to go to school with the cold. The language in the book is very visual as well as humorous.
My daughter just got this for her birthday. It's a super cute story and she listened to the whole story and pointed out things she recognised. The pictures were perfect and the story was great. My daughter loved the bit were the pig flew out of Natalie's nose!!
This book is super funny! It's all about this girl who wakes up one day with a pig stuck in her nose. Can you imagine? The story follows her crazy adventures trying to get rid of the pig. Every page is packed with hilarious ideas and silly schemes. The pictures are awesome too—they really bring the story to life! But it's not just about laughs; there's a nice message about friendship and dealing with unexpected things. If you're looking for a book that's guaranteed to make you laugh out loud, this is it!
This is a masterclass in how to write a funny, exuberant picture book with a truly satisfying ending. Beautifully illustrated by Laura Hughes, this is a joy of a read (and read aloud) book. You need it in your life (as do your children).
A lovely and fun book for the little reader. Made me chuckle a lot and I guess it will be the same for your little story lover. I'll be getting this for my niece
