Cheryl's inspiration for her books comes from spending her free time in nature, where she is known to escape for many hours exploring with her wife and three rescue dogs. Little ones will enjoy discovering the wonders of spring in this delightful story featuring Little Rabbit, Holly the hummingbird, Dahlia the fox, Casey the cat and many other animal characters. When Little Rabbit asks her friends what spring means to them, each creature has a different perspective on this special time of year. Rosie the robin says spring is when the soil is warm enough to sow seeds, Randy the racoon says spring is a light raindrop as it trickles down his nose, and so on as each animal friend describes what spring means to them. The bright, pastel watercolour illustrations and simple, flowing text will engage young readers aged 3-7.

A lovely read following a bunnies curiosity to discover what spring is.
She talks to her friends who all say what spring means to them.
In the end she does discover what spring is but not quite the things she thought.
My daughter enjoyed the story.

A delightful book to help teach about springtime

Once again a pretty little book with glorious illustrations in soft watercolours.

Children will learn about spring from the forest animals who help little rabbit understand spring through the senses of sight, smell, taste etc.

This is a delightful book about spring.
I love the poetic description and I think it is great for children's development to read not just simple stories but also book that help them describe something so beautifully and clearly.

The illustrations are executed in watercolor and gives a special spring filling.
I would recommend this book to children of all ages.

It's a great story about the curious rabbit roaming around asking what is spring. I like how they illustrate the pictures, it's so clear. Kids would love this book. This book also introduces different kinds of animals, flowers, and plants.
