Anchor: A collection

An anchor holds a boat steady, keeps it in place, stops it from drifting away. What holds us steady when life gets hard? What are we anchored to? These are the questions I was thinking about as I put this book together. My heart is that these words will bring you hope and peace as you read them.

this was such a quiet poetry collection, and yet it felt like a punch in my heart. I felt like every single poem had been written as a secret message just for me. it felt intimate, as if a friend was speaking to me, telling me that everything is going to be okay. (4.5)

This was beautiful little book of poems that I picked up from a free little library while on a bike ride to the beach. I wish a slightly younger version of me could have found this- she really needed it. I am still much appreciative to have read these wise and encouraging words. Going to drop this off at another free little library and hope that it can help another.
