Love is an emotion that holds a different meaning for all of us. Those definitions could be similar but not completely the same. Being in love is a beautiful thing to be and this emotion forms the underlying theme of this book.
Three Seasons of Love by Kartik Iyer is a collection of micro poems that cover the themes of fondness and intimacy. Divided into three areas - pursuance, courtship, and longing - this book consists of brief confessions of a person to their beloved.
The short couplets are dipped in sweet love and poured out on paper with a surreal magnificence. Some of them might appear plain but others successfully evoke our dormant emotions. The expressions are lucid and the narration is breezy and easy to connect with.
I feel the author has done a good job of aligning with the central theme of love and bringing out soulful pieces on the same. You can definitely pick up this book to savour some poetic love in snackable format.

It's a wonderful collection of myriads of couplets that are taken from poems spanning over a decade getting inspired from the author's life and experiences.
Love makes this world a beautiful place to survive in. No doubt love makes world go round. These poems are based on this very emotion. It's subtle . It's intense. It's everything that makes life worth it.
The book is primarily divided into three parts :
Pursuance : a situation you are trying hard for a chance to get engaged with a person who your heart desires. One glance and you are out of this world.
Courtship: When the feel becomes mutual and you know they love you and both try to create a small world of wonders with each other.
Longing : When your heart yearns for someone you had but now you have lost them. Bringing nostalgia
These parts truly felt like three seasons of love.
Pursuance is like the colourful Spring where new hopes takes birth like new blooms of flowers.
Next Courtship is like the Indian summery feel where you feel all windy and bright vibes having your hopes matured.
The Longing period again feels like autumn or winter when you yearn for the warmth of your beloved where you soul tries hard to stay warm and healthy.
Each section has plethora of couplets which soak the pages with their honest emotions. If you have ever been in love you will feel these lines make sense and they will penetrate in your skin like rains of love and bend like a rainbow over your soul.
At times it makes you remember why love brings all the joyous feels and next it all changes bringing nostalgia, pain and melancholic vibes.
Great to be read late at night or you can call it

I didn’t dislike this by any means, but I think I just read this in a non-loving season of my own life, so I found it hard to relate to at all.

Writer-filmmaker Kartik's debut is a micro poem venture that's all about passionate love and its aftermath — a typical Bollywood flavour.
The poet has delivered his outpourings that has been stacked into his inner consciousness through micro couplets, which give you a coming-of-age feel of a young man.
He has themed the poetries into three sections — or rather, three seasons — pursuance, courtship and longing, different phases in the romantic journey.
ℙ𝕦𝕣𝕤𝕦𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕖 is all about those first glances, conversations, and going head over heels in pursuing that one human who is your world at that juncture.
Then follows the ℂ𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕥𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡 stage, where both the individuals are mutually in consent and comfortable with each other, both physically and mentally.
The final and ultimate phase in this love season is 𝕃𝕠𝕟𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕘 — when you are no longer a "two pods in a pea", rather you move on as separation is life's inevitable curse.
I kinda loved the poet's attempt to convey his feelings through his mature musings. However, overtime, these poems became mundane because of its repetitive word usage and lacked the depth and finesse, which is the strength of any good poetry collection.
All in all, a light read for a chilly, rainy day — give it a try, if you are that romance person.

This book "Three Seasons Of Love" is a collection of micro poems and each one of them is equally heart-touching and wonderful. The author has weaved his emotions and feelings in phrases in the most beautiful way one can ever do. The language of the book is simple and the stanzas are easy to communicate.
🥀The cover page of the book is light and glamorous enough to catch one's attention, and the title is appropriate for the book it just couldn't be better than this. The captivating cover page made me feel calm and soothing. Three seasons of love are Pursuance, Courtship and longing as mentioned in the book. Each micro poem is short yet sweet and gives you a different kind of nostalgia, that will remind you of the days, of a feeling when you were falling for someone.
🥀I am sure after browsing this amazing composition of the author you will fall in love with the book. Poetry is hard to jot down as you have to convey those things in a few words and I must say the author has done that job perfectly by penning down these poems. Getting attracted and seeking for the attention is such a beautiful feel and it lead to all sorts of action until attain it. The author was detailing all about one's inner feel of thoughts who is chasing to pursue her love. He describes each and everything from the eyes to smile, the magic to miracle, the weakness to strength and the power to kindness. The beautiful words driven together to praise her and to inspire others is not enough to complete those awesome poems. Because there is so much of flow in each poem of Pursuance which gives the exact pleasure to the readers too.
Being in love and receiving the same love equally will give you an unexplainable joy and fulfillment of life. The exchange of the beautiful love and the respect with each other was well mentioned in the part of Courtship by the author. There was a beautiful bond of love in between them and that was formed as mesmerizing poems which in turn leaves an impression in all the readers.
Craving something or having a strong desire is a painful feel. If the desire was for the love of her, then it will give a still more strong yearning desire. Facing those parting in between love is difficult and the heartache was expressed amazingly in the Longing part of the book yet in a positive manner not in a negative way. That was an appreciable thinking of the author that is expressed beautifully.
A true and a pure love will come across all these three seasons and those who are in any part of it will enjoy these mellifluous poems. Love is a deep and profound feeling, and various untold and hard-to-express emotions are connected with it; and what can be better than a poem to express them? Poems are the best way to express the human soul as it encounters the intense journey of love.
Love is something that everyone is seeking, something that people wonder about, and something this book "Three Seasons of Love" by "Kartik R. Iyer" is about. There are different stages of love; there is a stage where your heart is fond of someone and wants to be with that person. There is a stage where you are with that someone and enjoy the mutual emotions of love, and then comes the stage where your heart is sinking in the pain of losing someone once you had. This micro poetry collection's theme revolves around these three stages of love; Pursuance, Courtship, and Longing.
I was amazed by these micro poems that drew me into the whirlpool of emotions. The emotions the poems evoke are intense and will make you feel the highs and lows of love. Sharing my favorite lines,

Love is supposed to be an all consuming emotion that has the ability to break or make any individual or human being.
This is the reason why there are so many poems about love out there that have been written by one person to his supposed love.
Three Seasons of Love by Kartik R Iyer is therefore a great collection which shows us the conversation between two lovers via the poems.
The three seasons in the book are the initial attraction that two people feel for each other, then how their courtship period goes and then what happens when some obstacles block their path.
This was a collection of poems but it surely does depict a beautiful love story that we all will be mesmerized by.
Also, the cover of the book is just so pretty that it makes us immediately be attracted to it, and the poems which make us stay and get a feeling.
Each word written by the author gives some kind of personal touch that makes any person believe in themselves, they can feel those healing words.
The title of the book completely resonates with the content written inside the book.
I find the book gripping to read, I would like to recommend the book the people who like to read poetry.

Three Seasons of Love is a poetry book by Kartik R. Iyer. The subheading describes it as “A series of micro poems”. There are a few varying lengths of poems. Some can be a couple of lines, whilst some are up to six or seven lines.
I think there’s some good work. The author keeps the poems fairly basic, and many are just one or two moments in a relationship, such as a first meeting, or a description of a person, or what they’re like. I think the author has done it well. Though I admit that I would love to know more about these little love stories, and I’d love to know more about the characters they’re about, what drew these people together, etc. And, in that respect, I think the author has created very intriguing poems, where I yearn to think more about them.
There’s a good variety of words that the author has used. There are all sorts of descriptions about appearances, emotions, scenarios, etc. And, while some poems do have similar themes, they’re definitely different from each other; with the way the author describes things. I did have a variety of poems I enjoyed throughout the book. Though since they don’t have titles, I won’t be able to specify which I am talking about.
Overall, I liked the book. I think it has a strong range of poems. And, in my opinion, the author has written them well.

You need not to be a poetry reader or lover to pick it up, it's extremely easy to read and understand that even if you are not into the genre you will love it because of its freshness, depth and at times it brings the nostalgia, the feeling of falling for someone and the way it talks about the art of healing makes it more engaging.

The book "Three Seasons of love" by author Kartik Iyer is the amazing collection of poems.
I've read ebook, containing 158 pages and the micropoems in it are wonderful, not extending more than 6-7 lines they literally have my heart. They describe whole lot of emotions stitched with different feelings in them.
"I’ve tried writing about her,
many a time
And have lost count of the times
I’ve miserably failed in my attempts;
No matter how much ever I try,
I end up missing out on something or the other.
It’s as otiose as trying to gulp down the ocean
In a single sip…" omg this...

Three Seasons of Love
Three seasons of love is a collection of micro poems. Each poem will resonate and connect with you and since they are micro with a blink of an eye you will finish the read but the poems will stay with you. If you are a prose person it will incline you towards poetry. The way the author has played with metaphors speaks volumes. They are easy to read lines but deep to understand I found some absolutely beautiful poems in this new collection and would like to quote them for you.
1. she is an ocean full of possibilities letting me live out my dreams; one dip at a time
2. I was aimlessly zoning in and out in the journey of life. She took away my inhibitions and filled my experiences. Gave flight to my dreams and made me free of my rife . She turned a tourist into a traveller.
3. You are my soul, and I believe I am yours too if two people were meant to be it’s me and you
Grab your copies and enjoy experiencing each emotion the writer has written and I am sure after reading you will have a fulfilling experience.

Three Seasons of Love is a collection of micro poems nudging the themes of love, courtship and longing.
To me, it felt like the poet's ode to someone loved by him, a kind of message, a display of feelings. The collection is beautiful and the meaning serene in itself.
All this creates a kind of aww in me with how it was created, how it's filled with tranquility and this bustling emotion called love. My love for this collection can be extracted from this line:
"And each time, a little more than the previous time…"
The poet has given so much to this unknown character, so much description of their qualities and behaviour,their priorities in life...
"An inherent acceptance in all her rejections, A vague sense of perfection in her imperfections…"
I loved the "perfection in her imperfections "- 😍
The book is so beautifully arranged with the poems divided into three categories - Pursuance, Courtship and Longing ... Just like the three stages of love.
The reading is very easy with nothing hard to contemplate.
I would recommend this collection to any poetry lover! 📖🍁

A good poem is something which is able to invoke the feelings from within the readers that the author wants to narrate and leaves an overall good feeling when we read it.
Falling in love is said to be magical and there are so many myriad of emotions that a couple experiences when they get the chance to encounter this familiarity.
‘Three Seasons of Love : A Collection of Micro Poems’ by Karthik R Iyer is therefore a great assemblage of verses that are so good that they just leave a delicious tingling feeling when we read them.
The poems begin with expressing that butterflies in our stomach that we get when we find the person who is supposed to be our forever.
Then they progress towards the going steady and wooing period where no matter what is happening in the outside world, we are in that bubble where nothing can touch us.
Lastly comes the poems about longing, pining and yearning and these were the ones which I liked the most out of all as they directly touch our heartstrings. Hence I am going to give this book FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Her childlike laughter, That unending zest, Those unspoken words, Make me forget the rest… It is not her smile, Neither is it her eyes; It is not the way she spoke, It’s definitely not her innocence; It is HER, the way she IS! The magic she spreads with her presence, I’m in love with it all. Every time I see her, I fall for her all over again…✨
Could my reading experience have been any better than it already was? The answer to that question was this short collection of cute, serene and perfectly nice poems. I never thought in my life that I will get to read a poem and feel a plethora of emotions all a once. The poems ranging from love, solitude and longing took me to another dimension of life and I was never ever ready for it. This is why the poems spoke volumes to me because they had a myriad range of feelings stitched in them vividly. The author has done tremendous work in bringing human emotions that we all relate to into the paper. Recommended for poetry enthusiasts. Stay ready with tissue papers. An undeniable truth that you will ever come across is LOVE. It's the most hyped word and also the most misunderstood. Kartik R. Iyer in his book Three seasons of love brings forth this emotion undistilled.
The book is divided into three sections which are the three stages of love - pursuance, courtship and longing. But
though the book is divided into sections yet the emotions are so interwined that sections blur and what remains are pure feelings.
The poetries are mesmerizing, dreamlike and filmy even. The amount of love poet has for his muse makes me envious for her. The muse is celebrated all throughout. The love, the rendezvous, the separation, the yearning defined using sanguine words are what being in love is all about. These words resonate. ©

Human emotions are chaotic and are fragile like glass and putting yourself back together can often cause more hurt. However, a person can learn more about themselves and become stronger through their experiences. This collection of poetry has an authentic tone and a nostalgic vibe. It allowed me to experience the happiness and pain of love and loss. Truly remarkable!

Three Seasons of Love: A collection of micro poems by Karthik R. Iyer is an autobiographical collection of really short and tiny poems.
The poems are divided into three parts, namely Pursuance, Courtship and Longing.
Where Pursuance follows the theme of spring like spring of love when you have a crush on someone and every little look and behaviour of theirs makes your heart giddy with excitement.
Courtship follows the theme of summer. The warm cocoon of love wrapping the lovers within when they are courting each forming a world of their own.
Longing follows the theme of frigid winter when you have lost the world of the warm cocoon as well as your love and now long to turn back to the time in the past.
The poems being autobiographical came from the author's experience with love and it's different seasons, be it pleasant spring or torturous winter over the past decade.

As the title suggests, ‘Three Seasons of Love’ mentions three stages in the journey of love.
1️⃣ 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 : This is the stage when a person feels attracted towards the other person. When we get lost in the thoughts of that person. When we admire her beauty and think about the initial moments spent and keep looking for an opportunity to be around that person.
2️⃣ 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 : It is a stage when we receive the same love you’re showing to your lover. That feeling of being loved by someone.
3️⃣ 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 : It is that sad stage when things didn’t work out and now left with her memories of the time spent together. Feeling the pain of separation.
These are beautifully written poems by the author Kartik R. Iyer. If you’re already in love with someone then you’re going to love reading it even more (first 2 stages 😊). I recommend it to everyone who likes reading poetry.

✍This is a nice collection of poems based on discussions between loved ones. This book is a collection of poetry that have been condensed into a single volume. This book is titled "Three Seasons Of Love," and the three seasons are "Pursuance, Courtship, and Longing," which are unlike our summer and winter seasons.
✍Every poetry in this book is 4 to 5 lines long, however these tiny lines give you a sense of your loved one. My favourite lines from this book are:
"Love,
Pretty much like manners,
Can only be desired,
Not demanded..."
From the bottom of my heart, I adore these lines. Every poem is incredibly moving.

Three Seasons of Love is a collection of Micro Poems about 'His Love' and their three stages of Love - Pursuance, Courtship and Longing.
Pursuance is about the initial stages of Love when one realises fall for someone - Stealing glances, finding opportunities to talk, etc. Courtship is about the beautiful feeling when both reciprocates same love and finding joy in each other. Longing is about when one person walk outs from the journey they had together and the other person long for someone's company.
Author did a great job in expressing the feelings during those three seasons of love through micro poems. The language is simple and lucid. I'm so in love with the cover. This book is too good for beginners. Highly recommended.

The poems are really short but has very deep and beautiful meaning which will touch your heart and soul .
Love changes with time it does not remain same forever sometimes you might feel there is less love between you and your loved one but no love has different phases and each phase is wonderful.
Author has penned down that Love is the beautiful feeling in the world and your loved one the most beautiful person .
Grab this book it's definitely worth your time.

My words would be less to describe this pretty short collection of poems. This book is a collection of beautiful micro poems and is divided into 3 parts, described as 3 seasons of love, Pursuance, Courtship, and Longing.
It’s an intense feeling of love that poem had woven into the thread of life passing by. It’s a very heart touching read full of emotions. The love poet carries for her is irreplaceable, the words of the poem described how intense love can be. It’s not just the appearance or looks but more importantly it’s the observation and feeling one have for his/her partner.
The cover page is soothing just like the poems. Every lover should read this book
