When Courtney gets into the attic, a small voice tells her to shut the light off. When they head toward the stairs, they fold up, and they are both locked in the attic.

The eponymous Bride(-to-be), Nicole Benson is reported missing by her intended, Eric, who's also the main suspect. Nicole's Mom doesn't trust him either, but her words fell on deaf ears when she suggested Nicole move back home with her.
Impulsive as always, and ever-mindful of her own past experiences, Courtney will stop at nothing to solve the case she feels so strongly about...but is she walking into a dangerous trap?
The tension ramps up subtly at first, then gradually becomes more menacing, as secrets about Eric's first marriage are uncovered.

This thrilling collection gives the reader the six books that comprise the Officer Courtney Morgan and the Missing Bride story. Nicole Benson, a long-time friend of Courtney, is soon to be married. But her fiancé Eric reports her missing. No one seems to trust Eric, and he does seem to be up to something. The police find Nicole’s blood in her car. When Courtney goes up in the mansion’s attic to investigate a hunch, the attic stairs fold up and she is trapped. Will she find Nicole? Will she get out of the attic? Or does the murderer have something more deadly in mind?

The story line is tense and intriguing. I do hope an editor, however, goes through this collection and fixes up the errors that distract from the reading.

This thrilling collection gives the reader the six books that comprise the Officer Courtney Morgan and the Missing Bride story. This is my first reading from this author and I have to admit that after the first chapter I was immediately hooked. I thought the first book/story was very separate from the rest, but the next part started at the end of the previous part. The remaining parts in this box set can actually be read as one book. I'm really looking forward to the next set. It was so exciting that I could hardly stop reading and read until late at night. I finished this box set in two evenings. I admit that this is a must read for anyone who likes psychological thrillers.

This is an intense thriller involving a missing person and a lot of mystery. It is also the sixth season/series with these characters. While it is not necessary to have read the earlier series, it will provide more depth to this story.

Each story is written as a serial, so it is good that this is the complete collection. The story is very well written and highly engaging with a mystery that drew me in right from the start and kept me turning pages for any hints of what is going on. The story involves some dark moments and is rather intense, so be prepared for that going in. Once you get started, you won't want to stop.

Highly recommended.

🙄😲A tedious read.

Officer Courtney Morgan did not like the silence.
Wounded by a bullet, she was impatiently waiting for reinforcements...

Casey was next to her, also injured.
They needed to get to the hospital quickly...

Personally, I had a lot of trouble following this series.
I always felt like I was behind, or missed something.

I sometimes went back in my reading, in certain parts a little confused.
This is not the read I was expecting. I'm rather disappointed.

In this box set, we find Courtney looking into the disappearance of her childhood friend Nicole. She was to be married tomorrow and has gone missing. Her fiance is not a lot of help. When Courtney starts the investigation she gets a call warning her to back off the investigation but if you know Courtney you know that isn't going to happen.

What happened to her friend and will she solve the case??? To find out read the books. You will love them.

I have to admit that I was hooked on these after the first chapter. I will read it again, no doubt about it. Excellent read.. Looking forward to reading the next set. I was so involved with these books that I finished the series in couple of days. This is a must read to anyone that likes psychological thrillers .
