Another action filled Native American book in the Crow Killer Series finds Eagle Wing hunting, miles away from his home, when he hears Morning Dove's rifle. Racing home, he finds his beloved wife lying in a pool of blood. His horses, furs, and weapons were all gone as he stood in shock before his burning lodge. Eagle Wing raised his great war axe. "When she is safe, then I will follow you wherever you go. Your blood will be on my hands, I swear on this!"
Eagle Wing makes a desperate journey west to hunt down the destroyers of his home and take revenge against his enemies. Adventure, danger, romance, and courage follow Eagle Wing, the Arapaho Lance Bearer, son of the great Crow Killer.

For lovers of Western Books this whole series should be required reading. Outstanding characters and a true believable hero. The author almost makes you believe you are part of the family as it grows over time and allows you to interact with best and worst of people. And then it brings out the best.
I so admire this author. Definitely one of the best western series written. These characters are like old dear friends. New characters are so well written. Hope the next book in the series comes soon. Very well researched and the excitement never quits. Would love to see this series on TV. Another 5 star read. Thank you Mr. Dennis
Another Action Filled book. The son's of crow Killer have grown up and with the role model and training from their father they have become warriors to cause fear in their enemies. Along with the life threatening events there is lots of Suspense and excitement. Looking forward to another book.
Alfred Dennis is one of my favorite authors; however, The longer i read his last two books in this series the more I found I was just skimming through the repetitive paragraphs. The great story could have been told in half the number of pages! Very disappointed if he is now being paid by the word!
Book 7 starts with an attack on Eagle Wings lodge leaving his wife, Morning Dove gravely wounded. Eagle Wing along with his brother seek revenge against the Nez Perce. Fast paced and lots of action. Another good one from Alfred Dennis.
This is a great series of books and is highlighted by Dennis' storey telling Hot feel as if you are riding with Crow Killer, his Indian brothers and family I wait for more
Highly recommend this book and series. Great writing and characters in the entire series. Love the way they handle the struggles and problems they face every day. True mountain man stories
As always Alfreds books and stories keep you on edge from the very first line to the last the only problem is waiting for the next one l so love these tales of the first people and l fear the next book might be the end of life as the tribes knew it.
Another great read. Action packed, sorrow, laughter, fighting, peace and love. Keeps your readers hanging on the edge of their chairs. A clean cut book that holds your attention. Thank you.
Dennis has once again produced an engaging yarn full of surprises and adventure. I very much enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the next. You will not be disappointed if you decide to purchase this book.
The richness of the unfolding story kept me interested. The characters, the settings and the tone of it made for a series worth owning. Well done. Thank you Alfred Dennis.
This is a very good book, with a great story line, about an Arapahoe family, the father being a White adopted, and trained by the Arapahoe to become a great worrier, and lance carrier
I have read 7 of the Crow Killer Series. They are great novels. Detailing the lives of Indian tribes. Good character development and lots of action. I highly recommend this series to those who are interested in Classic Westerns and American Indians.
