The third book in the Chronicles of the God-Sage is finally here! Prepare for a fast-paced action adventure, topped off with a sprinkling of enemies to lovers romance.

WHEN EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER WANTED IS WITHIN YOUR GRASP, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

When Kyla returns to Moriya with the new acolyte, she finds the city changed for the worse. Executions are rife and the people are terrified. There is an enemy in their midst, and everyone is a suspect.
After someone close to Kyla is arrested, she realises that the wrath of the Sages knows no bounds, and it won't be long before their suspicions fall on her. To survive, she will have to choose between her family and her friends, her faith and her own intuition.

Marlowe knows he needs to run. Guards are waiting to arrest him in Moriya, but he can’t bear to leave his sister to the mercy of the God-Sage and the Moriyan authorities. When a mysterious man appears and offers Marlowe a way into the city, he finds himself unable to resist. But will he ever leave the city alive?

I will be honest with you. I could barely retain any information of this book except the “the God Sage deserves a pure city” because they keep saying it. Over and over again… I wished I liked this one better but sadly it didn’t happen. The final chapters were nice though.

So, so, so lucky to have an ARC to this book in return for leaving an honest review.

Rachael Watson does not disappoint in the third installment on the God-Sage. And guess what... it's not the end. The ending of this story leaves you on your knees begging for more, more, more!

I love the character development. The pain, the sorrow and the triumphs. Chapter 9 left me absolutely gutted for the character. The backstories and what is happening isn't predictable. You never know what Marlowe and Kyla are going to do next. This book felt like an exploration of the human condition.

There's more death in this book as the plot thickens. Kyla continues to question everything she knows ... Marlowe is angry and confused.

Lander Tarthwen was what I expected and simultaneously not what I expected. I love the cast of characters... especially a new one we are introduced to.

Well done Rachael, looking forward to book four. :)

THE GOD SAGE DESERVES A PURE CITY!
But at what cost???

This book series just gets better and better!!!

Beginning this series, I really didn’t know what to expect but I’m glad I found this little pearl, while swimming around the great big sea of BookTok. It is truly a tale worth reading!

A dystopian world, filled with an entirely new type of magic system, that heals. If this magic is preformed outside of The God Sage circle and without their Acolytes present, you are brought to the circle and forced inside, where then, The God Sage, will determine, whether you are worthy to be healed, live or DIE! It is a cult like society that has been raised on the beliefs, that The God Sage deserves a pure city, which that sentence alone, should convey to you, how cruel this city can be. I personally, do not enjoy books that are filled with excessive amounts of sex, blood and gore and although the books in this series do contain murder, death and cruelty, it was written in a way, that I actually could enjoy the story itself, without going into very descriptive details, which I prefer. All 3 of the books in this series are filled with action, adventure and now, a bit of a slow burning romance, that is beginning to finally kindle. This 3rd book in the series was also left on a cliffhanger, so there will definitely be a BOOK 4, which hopefully will be out this December 2022.

If you enjoyed The Grisha Trilogy (Shadow and Bones series) then I think you will enjoy this book series as well.

This may be a new author but she writes in a way, as though she has been writing for a lifetime.

This author is one to look out for and that I for one, will be keeping my eye on, for future reads.

As always, Rachael’s writing made me forget the real world. I absolutely love the world that she has created and the characters make it even better.
As we follow on with Marlowe, Kyla and Valora’s adventures, the plot thickens. There was a huge surprise in this third book, one I did not expect at all, one that was truly well thought of. New characters were introduced, and long-lost ones were found once more. One death made me really sad, though… but I’d have been disappointed if no one had died during this impossible mission.
Once more, I cannot say how much I love Rachael Watson’s writing. It is just SO GOOD! The feelings are there, the action scenes are perfect, and the rhythm is amazingly well-paced.
I’d honestly give it 4.5/5.
And once more, I was delighted to be part of the ARC team, and am looking forward to the next book of the series.
Thank you so much Rachael ❤️

If you’re looking for a series with really compelling characters, a fantasy world with magical creatures, secret plots, political intrigue, high adventure, and the kind of page turning excitement that makes your palms sweaty while you’re reading, then you MUST read the latest installment of the Chronicles of the God-Sage! I loved the first two books in the series, but the third book, Legend of Wings, is my favorite, and not just because of the payoff on the enemies to lovers theme. Rachael Watson is a terrific writer and I’m so glad that I found these books by an indie-published author who happens to be an excellent storyteller. Highly recommend!!

Another great installment to this series. I continue to love the Dual POV, I think it definitely takes a book to the next level. This book made my heart ache so many times, it just shows you how much I connected with the Characters. There wasn't a boring chapter in this book. There is alot of suspense and tension, it made for a great read. This series is a great action packed YA with enemies to lover as a side story. I couldn't fault this book! I cant wait to see what else Rachael has instore for us!

Ahhh that ending... talk about cruel!
I absolutely loved this 3rd installment and couldn't put it down. I love that it isn't predicable and I couldn't guess what was going to happen - the angst is very real.

The addition of new characters and the evil plot twists are just great - I'm so not going to forgive the author for certain things (but I don't want to give spoilers 🤣).

I can't wait for book 4 to see how everything's going to be resolved.

I recieved an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

So lucky to get an ARC of this book. This, honestly, was my favourite of the three books, now I can’t wait for the fourth!
While I suspected that Marlowe was a Nilari, it turns out it was someone else…but could he still be!? What is the bond between Kyla and Valora…are they related somehow, two sides of the same coin? Where does Kyla’s mom factor in to this? Will the psycho, power hungry Acate get foiled in his goals to control the circle!? Will the Nilari rise again? Bring on book four!!

The best book so far of the God-Sage chronicles, in my opinion. This part was fast paced, with lots of questions from the first two answered even as a few new questions were introduced. The characters all grew, individually and together, and I found that I couldn’t put it down.

One huge surprise twist had me literally jump from my chair while reading.

Wonderful installment and I can’t wait for the final book.

Legend of Wings is a satisfying continuation to the Chronicles of the God Sage saga! Throughout the story, we see a lot of tension between the characters come to a head, as well as a lot of plot points coming together. It does end on quite the cliffhanger, but I found myself less bothered by it this time. So many questions had already been answered, amd I have faith that the rest will be answered in the next installment.

This is a very exciting addition to the series — every scene packed a punch and hit me with every kind of emotion. In this third installment, we get to meet new characters, stare in awe at the same beautiful descriptions, and gasp when things take a dramatic turns. The plot twist in this book is huge, oh my word. Be forewarned and get to reading! <3

Fantastic! After a slower second book, this third one takes everything to another level. The story takes off at a fast pace, and doesn't stop! With more secrets revealed, new characters introduced and some sadder moments, it kept me gripped all the way through. And 'enemies to lovers' works so well here! I can't wait for the conclusion in book four. Highly recommend the whole series!

Continuing this amazing story you will find it hard to put this book down.
The intrigue and mystery grows as secrets are revealed, and history manages to catch up to the present.

Watson's writing reads so visually that I can even imagine the scenes in my mind, and I bet a visual interpretation would be a great fit!

Catch up on this series before the conclusion is released!!!

A dark mystery

This series is not for the faint hearted. It can be frustrating but it is always gripping. It is dark and light, despair and hope. Some mysteries are solved but others rise in their place. But to solve them all we have to move on to the next book. An excellent story.

After reading "Forbidden Healing" and "The Dream Key", I was very much looking forward to continuing the series with this. Rachael Watson does not disappoint. The narrative is smart, as is the dialogue. A shocking plot twist that could have knocked me over with a Nilari feather. If you haven't started the series yet, do so. If you have, be sure to read this.

The worldbuilding and characters are great. Pacing is not its strong suit but this las book in the series does much better on that front. Sad to see so many grammatical and editing errors though.

What a cracker of a story this was. Indeed the whole series so far has been brilliant.
No spoilers here .

Some books drag on in parts but not this one. Every page makes you want to rush to the next to find out what is going to happen.
Such rich characters
The world building is second to none.
You get so engrossed, you feel you are living it alongside the characters.
I for one will certainly be waiting with anticipation for the next thrilling episode. Can’t wait to see if Kyla finally gets some answers.
Well done Rachael.
