A Young Devil's Prayer

Rate this book
"Hell must burn!"

The crowd is chanting. Judgement has been rendered. A young, trembling devil is to be cast into The Abyss.
And maybe she deserves it. Sinmonger knows she has done unspeakable things – she lied to God, she sold her Grandmother, and she loves a mortal.

But if Sin has crossed a few lines, it was for a good cause. She is fighting to save her home. With Grammy Toe gone, it is up to her to rescue the underworld and its way of life. But the Archangel Gabriel has been clear. Hell must go. No second chances. No forgiveness.

Can a desperate soul do things that even God cannot forgive?

In A Young Devil's Prayer, Sinmonger invites you to spend some quality time in Hell. Then decide for yourself. Just trust her. Please?

It's unusual to have a debut author already in their fifties, but sometimes, well, all the time really, life gets in the way.

It gets in the way, but it doesn't change the dream. So with the kids out of school and the house mostly paid for, I'm trying to get back on the writing path. I need a little more ibuprofen and fiber than I did decades ago, but if my writing were cognac, it too would only just be coming to market.

So I hope you savor my writing in that same light. Cheers!

I admire this book so much for it’s ability to be heartbreaking one minute (there’s some beautiful stuff here about redemption, self-doubt) and really hilarious the next (who knew the gateway to Hell was like the DMV?). I fell in love with Judd, the washed-up action star and want a Jelz Zoo hat for myself, and Sun is one of a kind: kind of bratty (she’s only a few centuries old) and just the right amount of conniving you want in a demon. Can’t wait for the next one.
