I loved the way Kathryn invites us into Russian history when palaces, position, power and empresses paraded opulence but the impoverished, serfs and pilgrims rise and throughout it all, truth prevails: Even though...I will...because You.

Two well written historical novellas (in one) perfect for any time of the year, not just Christmas!

Slow build, but worth it

This took me about 30% of the book before I decided I was interested. But then, I couldn't put it down and devoured the rest in a day. I love the character development and the confidence of the main character.
