I’ve always been the disappointing Saint James. The expendable one even. Each of my siblings forged a role in the family, but I never did, and all the public see when they look at me is a disgrace. It’s not that I haven’t earned that title, because I have, and for the last few years I’ve been playing the wild child just so I have a role at all. But when I find myself in the hands of our enemy, a man who has been a shadow in my life for the last ten years, a constant presence I could feel, but could never see, I’m thrust into a different role. Elijah thinks I’m going to be his queen. He thinks I’m going to stand by his side despite him being my family’s mortal enemy. Can I fall in love with the devil? Or am I destined for a life of misery beside a cruel psychopath? Content There are themes in this book that some readers may find distressing. Reader’s discretion should be applied. Montana is an Amazon Top 50 bestselling author of spicy dark romance. She writes possessive anti-heroes who will make you swoon and feisty heroines who give as good as they get.
She lives in Australia with her husband and four cats, and is a self proclaimed garlic bread connoisseur. She loves to travel the world, but also loves to have her head in a spicy book in her home library and office.
had to stop reading at 47% that’s almost three hours i will never get back. i don’t know how i got this far the first r4pe scene was so uncomfortable. elijah raped her, that’s it. there was no dubious consent, it was blatant sexual assault and abuse. he is a sick bastard who has fictional hell waiting for him. the things elijah said like “she is wet so she is enjoying it” ARE SO DANGEROUS!! just bc your body is reacting to stimulation doesn’t mean you actually want it and girls should be conscious of that. also, snow got on my nerves so much. her actions were so inconsistent. she was a brat one minute and the next she was crying GIRL MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!!!! conclusion, dark romance can be a hit or a miss and this was DEFINITELY A MISS. i hate to be so harsh but romanticizing abuse is a big no no for me.
Fuck this LITERAL RAPE PORN where he ON PAGE ASSAULTS HER after kidnapping her and repeatedly saying he owns her and will take whatever he wants and she no longer has any free will, fuck every account that recommended it on Instagram and fuck every single five star review on here.
DNF this after MMC assaults FMC. The fact that this book has been recommended by people is a problem and needs to be stopped. MMC kidnaps FMC, treats her like property, and acts like he’s entitled to her body. Absolutely a waste of time and makes me sick thinking about how this abuse and r*pe is being glorified. Only read this far because I was hoping FMC would escape this horrible situation and find a better life while getting revenge on MMC, but that is clearly not where this book was heading. I cannot stress this enough, but PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS BOOK! All these 5 star reviews are making me feel so sick.
We pick up after book 2 ends!! Snow is doing what she does best not listen to her brothers and acts out escaping her guards but this time she picked the wrong time to do it. Now shes kidnapped and in the hands of Elijah there once enemy. Elijah boy oh boy I think he's my fave guy in this series so far he is everything you want in a alpha OTT boyfriend! Possessive, bossy, growly and oh so dirty 🥵🥵🥵 but few times he does things that makes you question "do I find this hot?" He's alittle rough around the edges but lord his mouth and his actions to get his girl were extreme and I loved it!!
Elijah knew what he wanted he wants a queen to rule beside him not behind him, there relationship is rocky at first since she doesn't trust him and doesn't love the idea of being away from her family plus hes OTT for her lol. And we'll the whole kidnapped thing lol. They have alot of ups and downs in there relationship and out of there relationship with someone trying to hurt Snow and hurt there family business.
I love that Snow fought Elijah when she can but few times she let him get away with things that made me go "omg no girl" she was way to forgiving, I loved that she took charge when they were on the same page and told her brothers off she wasn't the girl you read in the last 2 books she grew into a badass!
Now I can't wait for book 4 Storms book let's see which person can tame this growly cold hearted beast.

I had to DNF this book because I just can’t finish it.
I saw a bunch of tiktoks on this book before I started reading and thought this was going to be a regular mafia book but no. He kidnaps her which isn’t even the worst part and then he rapes her like WTF. & he’s constantly trying to justify his behavior.
Elijah is actually disgusting; he’s been following her since she was basically a child and then rips her away from everything she’s ever known and then treats her like GARBAGE & then his maid just goes along with everything like WHAT.
Everything about this book is f*cked up and I can’t believe people are actually romanticizing it.
Elijah and Snow's story was interesting... there were some twists and turns but after a while I just felt that I couldn't wait for the book to finish... I'm not sure if I'm going to read the previous books in the series or the next one...
3⭐️ Great book. A bit f*cked up but I still had a good time. What I really enjoyed seeing was the FMC standing up for herself and telling her protective brothers off. There was not enough „romance“, I just needed a little bit more at the end, and a proper epilogue for Snow and Elijah as well.
I can understand why this is a DNF for a lot of people but I also think there is a certain amount of “reader beware” with mafia romance. As such I think it’s important that it gets reviewed as a part of its sub-genre because in context it’s actually quite progressive (not that it means we should not keep pointing out how problematic these stories are in the broader romance category). I am not a huge fan of mafia anything because as a genre anything mafia related is notorious for its degrading treatment of women as such I would expect the male characters to be deeply flawed. In no way do I think we should be justifying Elijah as desirable real life romance partner, he is definitely a stalker but he is not an entirely despicable character! He is a deeply flawed character which I think is touched on very well throughout the story as Snow thinks about the irony of him hating his father.
I have issues with the romanticising of obsession or sexual abuse that clearly wasn’t consent. However in the grand scheme of female representation in mafia fiction I do want to give the author props for making Snow stand up to her family. It is very clear that we are also touching on the influence of family on our behaviour and our acceptance of what is normal or not normal. As an IRL couple goal book, good lord no! BUT if I was going to be a mafia princess caught up in this crazy, Elijah is definitely going far higher than most other problematic fictional characters on my hot list!
I would give it the extra star if Elijah could be made to understand that what he did was non consensual but my biggest issue with this story is that it doesn’t wrap up the action part of the story! I was actually far more invested in where this random threat was going than I normally am in a romance novel!
Fall of Snow picks up where book two left off with Snow being kidnapped. Kidnapped by none other than the “enemy” Elijah! This man y’all. He goes after what he wants and doesn’t care who he has to crush and step over to get it. Snow has always been in his sight and he finally makes his move for his queen.
“You, my little Snowflake, are where my life begins and ends, because a man like me doesn’t care about anything but their queen.”
This was sexy and action packed. I love heroes like Elijah who apologize for nothing and own who they are. Snow was more in the background in previous books but here she shined. She grew so much and I loved the way she fought and fell in love with Elijah. Overall, a really enjoyable and steamy enemies-to-lovers romance.
Received an ARC of this book and 1. I was so excited I almost stopped breathing and 2. Refer back to 1.
I was super excited to read Elijah’s story after the last book because there was something so damn dark but so damn alluring about him. This story did not disappoint in the least.
Snow’s character is strong - which we love.
But Elijah? He’s the king of all possessive/obsessed heroes. He actually refers to his obsession as just that. Doesn’t sugarcoat it and is in fact, super shameless about it.
With Snow’s familial history - mainly surround her not being taken seriously by her family - it’s easy to see why she fell in love with Elijah as fast as she did. He treats her like a queen from day dot and won’t tolerate anything less.
My only qualm with this book was - the first kiss either wasn’t mentioned (hey, I’m a romantic, I enjoy the smut but I LIVE for that first kiss) or it was mentioned and it was on their wedding day….which makes no sense because they were going at it like bunny rabbits well before here comes the bride.
With all that said; this was probably my favourite of the series so far. Can’t wait to read Storm’s story.
I don’t know why I just read this book after a long break from this series because it’s not worth the time. What snow and Elijah had is still nameless ( like why to bother thinking about this as love ) ELIJAH:- A big bad mafia man don’t know what to do when his woman got kidnapped. He’ll just sit his ass on his office chair (which he call’s his throne )and planing on bringing her back while not doing anything at the same time. TBH Tommy and doc are far better than this Elijah man. SNOW:- I really don’t know how to describe this lady
At the end I thought author forgot how to finish this book or she got bored out of her mind and pile up this book as fast as she could.
There were a few things in the book that were… ahem, questionable. Sure, the whole premise revolves around mafia families (we’ve seen The Godfather). But this book was quite unhinged. Some might even say brave. But seeming as how it’s meant to… invoke certain feelings in the reader, it was a little (ok, extremely) hard to swallow and wrap my mind around it.
Initially, I was drawn to this book because of an IG post with a snippet from the book. It was a scene where Snow (that’s literally the FMC’s name) had run off to the bathroom in pain because of her period, and Elijah (quite a tame name for a mafia boss, but ok…) came looking for her and got extremely worried about her well-being. Promising that he’d move heaven and earth to get her all the comforts and treatment that she’d ever need. That was when I thought, ‘awww, this seems so sweet’.
That was the extent of how sweet it was. Because most of the rest of the book, was just… difficult. It had everything that should be a clear case of a toxic relationship; Stockholm Syndrome, emotional manipulation and blackmail, invasion of human rights, sexual assault, predatory behaviors, physical violence, mental torture, and whatever else that is not decent that you could think of, I’m sure. It was like the kind of kinky that is… not sexy at all.
And I’m so sorry for saying that. But to have someone forcefully make another person give oral, and then convincing themselves and the other person that it was good for them too? No. To somehow make the so-called Angel that brought light into his life of darkness, commit murder?! Oh, hell no! To say that she is the most precious treasure and that she is a strong and worthy warrior, but then always forcing her to submit to his physical needs even when she’s on her period, AND when she has said no. How is that supposed to be good? Where is the RESPECT?! I mean, I get that the MCs were both into rough, dirty, hot sex. But… this was NOT it because, we need consent. Consent. Not force.
But, it’s just a story book, right? It’s fiction. It’s imagination. It was written in a pretty good way, language and sentence structure-wise. Just that, the story line and the character development was not my cuppa tea. I had high hopes for it when I started reading it. And I came out of it quite disturbed from this dark romance / spicy novel. I do applaud the guts of the author though. Couldn’t have been easy to write this especially with all the issues involved in it, and turn it into a love story somehow. I just sincerely hope that any readers out there who enjoy this book can demarcate the good, the bad, the right and the wrong. Cause we deserve to be treated only the best way by someone who loves us.
This was much first kidnapping and I loved every second of it 🥰
I’m becoming a mafia romance junkie. 😄
This series just keeps on giving! Another one that I absolutely loved and now I can’t wait to read the final one.
At first I was a little skeptic about the whole kidnapping thing, but then I understood the point of view of Elijah and saw that he was finally able to be with Snow even if the ways for them to be together weren’t the best. Of course that were things that I didn’t like that much, one of them was that he still kept going even after she said ‘NO’.
This was also one of those that I couldn’t put down. The plot in this books are masterpieces and this family can’t seam to get peace for to long before they have another enemy knocking on their door.
One thing that I noticed, was that the author portraits the mmcs as obsessive, possessive and head over heels of their fmcs and I love that shit! 😆
I thought Im going to like Elijah.. I though correctly! My man! Snow and Elijah is an intriguing read and once again I cant say much without adding in spoilers but I am happy that I read them in order. It fills in blanks and add colour to it. I will also re-read the Shattered series now since I am sure I will fill in some backstories now.
If the characters of Frost industries and Shattered series ever sit together for a game of "Never have I ever" Dark would not even register lols.. so off the charts!!
I've been excited to read Elijah's story and I can tell you it did not disappoint!!
So this book follows Elijah and Snow, Snow is a strong female character which we always root for and Elijah is oof wow is this man possessive and obsessed and yes we love those type of book guys too lol. Elijah treats Snow like a Queen 👑 he won't tolerate anyone messing her around.
I've honestly fallen in love with all three of these couples and I can't choose a favourite! I'm excited to read more for sure and can't wait to see what's coming next
Received this ARC and I was so excited to continue the story of the Saint James siblings. The men in this series are so alpha and possessive and Elijah definitely tops them all. I love Snow’s development in this book and her relationship with Wynter. I’m so excited for Storm’s story next as he is my favourite sibling.
Jumped into book 3, right after finishing one and two back to back thank God for KU. I’m a huge fan. This was a new to me also and I’ve had all three of her books within less than 48 hours.
I LOVE WHEN ONE OF THE SISTERS FALLS FOR THE ENEMY!!!! Grant it the book didn’t start with Snow falling for Elijah right off the bat, but I literally couldn’t put it down.
My favorite of the three siblings so far. He was so hard to figure out but you at the same time he was putty her hands. Obsessed!!! do I even need to say I can’t wait for Storm’s book!!!
I was so excited to receive an ARC for this book! I loved the other books in the series and I couldn’t wait to read this one.
Just like the other two in the series this book had me hooked for beginning to end and I couldn’t put it down.
Every male in this series is a full on alpha and possessive but Elijah definitely tops them all so far. With his more then possessive nature, his need to protect what is his, I loved it. The way there relationship starts isn’t anything conventional but I love seeing they’d relationship develop to the point it is now.
I love all of the couples stories and there isn’t possibly a way to pick my favorite! I would recommend everything to read the series and this is for sure one of my favorites🖤
Elijah and his Snowflake start with a love(he falls hard) hate (after all he kidnaps her) relationship. They go through hell together and it’s not over yet. Storms story is next and I’m ready to dive in.
At first this book had me questioning what the hell am I reading. I read the first two books and liked them and wanted to give this one a shot. This is very dark, and Elijah is a stalker and obsessed with Snow. There were so many times in the book that she could have told her family what was going on and I really don’t think Elijah could do anything about plus her family is supposed to be scary mafia. I found the story lacking in suspense and it really pissed me off that Snow and Wynter know their safety is at risk and yet they leave the safety of the house. This happens in all the books and it gets old. I would also like to know if these people are such big scary mafia, why does this happen and why are there so many breaks in security and how can the girls escape security so easily? It’s not very realistic in my opinion. There’s other reviews that say he raped her but once I got to that part of the book, it wasn’t rape, her thoughts are clearly wanting it and she never once told him no. The only scene that she didn’t want was before the sex scene when he forced a BJ. I had a problem with that because he was forcing that on her. She clearly didn’t want to do that. It’s not the best book I’ve read and I certainly never fell in love with their romance and I do t think they ever tell each other “I love you” it’s basically his obsession with her and I he wears her down. It’s not the worst book I’ve read but definitely won’t spend time reminiscing over this book and will never want to read this book for the first time again.
As soon as I opened the prologue I felt very unsafe, I know its supposed to be mafia romance and stalking or wtv , but this isn't what I signed up for ✋🏻 I feel very scared rn. I'm 30% in and everything this man says or does icks me. This is beyond normal . He went all the way to stalking her for 10 whole years since she was 15 (I still don't know his age, which worries me) , made the same exact copy of her childhood bedroom in his own house with her shampoo and skincare, and I know this might sound cute and romantic but if u read the book you'd agree with me. The man's d*ck hardened bc he thought she was pretty when he watched her cry for half an hour through a hidden camera. And literallyall the thoughts he has about her that we see in his pov are him sexualising her like im sorry but did a man write his pov or smth???This book keeps getting WORSEEE. and he calls her good girl EWWWWWWWWW 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 I feel molested rn . At the beginning he says I won't force you to do anything and I'll wait for u and give u your own room, then the second day of kidnapping her he says he's tired of waiting and forces her to go to his room and forces her to sleep with only a shirt on?????? Bitch tf. And she's liking it and fighting against her brothers for him . Like HELLO HE KIDNAPPED YOU YESTERDAY?????? you're just gonna trust him just like that ? Here's a little clip of his amazing pov: The fmc: “You promised you wouldn’t do anything until I begged you, and I don’t recall begging you for that.” The mmcs response: “Do you know what the good thing about being in charge is, my little Snowflake?” I murmur as I close the distance between us until our faces are just an inch apart. “I can change my mind any damn time I please.” and then quiet literally forces her to give him a bj and she literally panicked throught it and tried to push him off but he didnt let her and forced her to finish it all bc he wants her to "know whos in charge". Im so done with this book.I tried to give this book a chance but I just CANT.
I gave up at 32% bc rn I'm feeling scared and molested and I'm not even with the fmc, I feel very bad for her and wish I could help her. I've never hated a man in my life as much as I do him and I pray to God that he keeps all these type of men far far away from any girl cause I wouldn't wish this man for my worst enemy.
