Rye & Griffin

This has been a good series with stories full of found family happiness and fated mates. This story is another good addition and I enjoyed the twist with Rye's inability to scent. I'm looking forward to Dion's story next. .

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Cute

This is more a fantasy than a story. Yes, one of the characters has a disability. It could've been a source of conflict. It wasn't. These two guys get together pretty quickly. Nothing happens to stand in their way.

Okay, so do we get to see characters from past books leading their best lives? Not really. Karma and Warren show up, say a few words, and walk off. Others are mentioned, but that's it.

This piece seems to have been churned out quickly, with no thought to plot and little to characters. There is a lot of telling instead of showing. Other stories in the series were better.

I usually enjoy Lorelei's nooks, however, I wasn't a fan of this one. There wasn't really depth to any of the characters and the pace was way to fast. These characters got together in the beginning of the story and the rest of the book was just filler. The writing was good but I think this would've benefited from the coupling being later in the story instead of in the beginning.

Boilerplate mpreg fluff. Rye is a wolf shifter unable to scent who after moving away from his toxic pack is finally starting to feel accepted by other shifters. Griffin is a fennec fox shifter starting to feel a bit lonely after his parents move back to Africa. The two meet by chance at Animals, local shifter bar (which this whole series is centered around apparently), and Griffin immediately scents Rye as his fated mate.

In a nutshell the story goes like this, the two of them meet, they go on a date, Rye admits he's unable to scent, which unsurprisingly is a complete non issue for Griffin. They go on few more dates, they mate (complete with knotting and mating bites), they find a kitten, Rye moves in with Griffin. Rye finds out he is pregnant, they move to a more permanent place on Animals' grounds, there's a baby shower, they have a baby, the end.

When I read the summary initially, I expected more of the story would be dedicated to Rye's inability to recognize Griffin as his mate and there would be some initial misunderstanding the two of them will have to work through. But this "issue" was "resolved" right at the beginning. Not only that, there was no conflict whatsoever, neither internal nor external. Griffin was perfectly understanding doting alpha, they were always in agreement about everything, everything was just too perfect. Rye and Griffin's story read like a very boring, completely uneventful, fairy tale.

Themes: dual POV, omegaverse, mpreg, fated mates, fluff

This is book #7 in the Omegas of Animals series. It can be read as a stand alone. This is a short insta-love book. It is a sweet and no-angst story. This is the story of Rye and Griffin. Rye is an omega wolf shifter who is finding his true place in life after being rejected by his pack in Alaska. He is considered broken because he has no sense of smell in his wolf form. This will become important. Griffin is a Alpha fennec fox shifter who owns his own construction firm. He is alone as his parents have left and are teaching abroad. He too has problems attracting omegas as they are not impressed by his animal. They meet at the bar Animals. Griffin instantly knows that Rye is his mate. His animal is screaming at him to do something. But Rye isn't acting like he has found his mate. Griffin isn't sure what is happening but arranges for a future date. It is then that Griffin learns about Rye's lack of a sense of smell. Rye can't sense his mate like other shifters. This is their story. This is a fun, quick read. A good continuation in this series.

Boy, Karma is the bomb! Rye, the wolf, has left his home pack due to the neglect and indifference he was shown by everyone, including his parents. Griffin, the Fennec Fox, has lived with or near his parents his entire life but now they are flying back to his dad's home. Karma works her magic and brings the two together at Animals. Problem, Rye cannot scent any better than human which is why he was treated so poorly with his home pack. They thought he was worthless because he could not smell. Will this cause problems, small ones because Griffin believes he is being somewhat rejected because Rye doesn't seem to notice the mate scent. This is another great addition to the Omegas of Animals series. These two are sweet, have fun and become part of the Animals family. We all need a Karma in our life with how much she cares for those around her that she immediately loves. Bless Warren and all of his patience with all the things his wife does to get people together!

Rye is an omega wolf shifter who never fit in with his pack. Since his wolf has no sense of smell, he was looked down on by his pack. He decided to leave his job and get a new job in the desert. He loves his new home and his job but he is lonely. One night after working hard, he goes to Animals for food and relaxation. He never thought he would find an alpha who would be interested in him.

Griffin is an alpha Fennic Fox shifter who has started his own remodeling business. After dropping his fathers off at the airport, he gets a call from his old friend Karma offering him a job to merge two employee apartments into a family apartment. She asks him to stop by right away. When he comes by, he is shocked to scent his mate in the club. He follows the scent and finds Rye his mate. The problem is Rye doesn't seem to realize that they are mates.

Fate is an amazing matchmaker! Fox shifter, Griffin's contracting business is so successful, he often has to turn away work. Rye, has a few challenges with his wolf. His wolf can't smell shifter scents. This inhibited his ability to contribute to his pack's society, so he left to make it on his own. He found a shifter friendly job and was content. Griffin, is called on for a faver for Karma. While he was at Animals, he scented his mate. When they finally met, sparklers went off. What do you do when you're ready to commit and settle down, but your mate is totally unaware? The story is fun and engages you in the quest for mating and the fulfillment of meeting your forever person delivers. Fun and funny, sad in little bites. Griffin and Rye engage you in fun times. Does Rye accept Griffin as a good man? Nice story, well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art!

I really enjoyed this book. I really felt bad for omega wolf Rye who had been treated as worthless by his pack because his wolf couldn't smell, thus leaving him unable to hunt. In human form he could smell as well as a human, but nothing beyond and couldn't tell what animals other shifters were. When he was enjoying his dinner at Animals, alphas kept bothering him, but he sent them all away, until one approached who immediately caught his eye, and he knew he wanted him to stay close. Alpha fox Griffin immediately scented Rye as his mate, and was confused he seemed to both be rejected but also interested in. I liked that Rye explained his lack of smell to Griffin in the beginning- thus cutting out all unnecessary drama this could had led to and instead give these two men a chance to bond. Though I was sad Rye called himself broken, and looked forward to Griffin showing him how much he would be cherished. 4 stars.

Rye, an omega wolf shifter, has a new job at a shifter-friendly company in Phoenix and hopes this new locale will give him a place to fit in and call home, unlike his wolf pack who viewed him as broken due to his inability to scent. Griffin, an alpha fennec fox shifter, is contractor and heads to Animals, a shifter-friendly club, to start a new project. Griffin scents Rye as his mate but while the omega seems interested in him, Rye doesn’t seem to recognize Griffin as his mate. The couple is so sweet as they try to navigate their new relationship with one another and finding their future together with their Animals friends and family who help them find a place to call home together. Rye and Griffin are so supportive and loving toward one another and willing to compromise their paths in life to be happy with one another in this lovely romantic read.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Rye & Griffin. Rye wants to be part of a pack but with a deficiency that has left him wanting in most packs eyes he hasn't really been a part of one. That is until he found his current boss and animals. Now all he can hope for is an alpha that will accept him just as he is. Griffin has listened to his dad's tell him he needs a mate for a while now. When they moved to another country to teach he didn't realize how much he depends on them. When Karma calls from animals and needs him to do a job there he finds much more than he planned. Can they find a HEA or will it all be too much for one of them?

Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Another 'Omegas of Animals' as always an easy, fun and quick read about fated mates MPreg tale. Omega wolf shifter Rye meets Alpha fennec fox shifter Griffin at Animals and start dating from then onwards. Since Rye is unable to smell above human level and none as a wolf he does not realize Griffin is his, beside that hr is attracted to him. They have several dates, Karma does Karma her 'thing' and these men find their found family and ofcourse a cute baby. I however would like a bit more care to the details and story structure. Overall if you need a pick me up this series is always a nice go to one.

This is anotherr great book to read!. This book was hard to put down. Kept wanting to read what happened next. Rye is an omega wolf shifter that has no sense of smell. He is not looking for a long term mate because he is afraid that his kids will have the same problem. Griffin is an alpha fox shifter, he goes to Animals to bid on some work and sents his mate. Griffin is excited and cannot understand why his mate isn't. When Rye tells Griffin about his sniffer, Griffin tries hard to prove that you do not need it. The love will show itself in other ways. Will Rye finally get the family he is looking for???? Is Griffin strong enough to help Rye find wat he needs????.

Cute MPREG Palate Cleanser - simple, cute, no drama

Lorelei M. Hart’s Omegas of Animals series is my go to palate cleanser after stress and the noise of the world. If only Karma and Animals the night club was there for us all.

This one was about Rye and Griffin. As always, Karma sets up the meet and they take it from there.

Rye is a Wolf shifter Omega with no sense of smell. His “handicap” left him out of his old pack, but he finds a new family with his his job and with his favorite place to eat and hang out - Animals.

Griffin is a Fox shifter Alpha. His parents just left his to move across the world. He’s not alone for long when he smells his Mate…. But what happens when your Mate doesn’t scent you?

Super cute very simple fated mate love story with zero drama.

Needs to be re-edited.

Spoilers ahead

The story overall is good. However whoever edited this book needs to go back to school, they failed so epically. In one chapter alone the alpha who is a fennec fox went from a wolf to fennec fox to wolf. How can you mess up that badly? Chapter 22 and chapter 21 need to be switched. Chapter 21 they are moving into their new place at Animals and chapter 22 they are still at Griffins place. I felt all over the place and completely lost while reading this one. Also all through out the omega Rye said he had the same smell as a human he couldn’t scent anything his animal normally would so at the end he said a bonus was not smelling when his baby filled her diaper. Humans can most definitely smell that.

A series I always look forward to. One that I can read when there is nothing else that appeals to me. Found families, the pull of the unexpected, hearts made whole and no shortage of representation in this loving shifter world.

Alpha Griffin and omega Rye, are a wonderful addition to this charismatic world of omegas and alphas. The story lines pull you in, the books seem far too short, but are filled with swoon-worthy happily ever afters.

We can always count on babies and Karma, the mysteriously knowledgeable matchmaker who knows what is needed and when.

I loved this book! We are once again taken back to the wonderful Animals and the fantastic characters we have met there for Griffin and Rye’s story. Griffin is a fennec fox and Rye is a wolf who feels he’s a bit broken. Their journey is filled with great friends, loving chosen family and one crazy coworker who loves to create stories. It will be a wonderful journey that will take them from strangers to mates to a loving family and it is a tale that is well worth reading!.

I thoroughly enjoyed this really sweet story about Rye and Griffin. Rye was a wolf shifter who had no sense of smell and thought that he wasn’t worthy of anyone for himself. Griffin who is a fox shifter, had been looking for his mate for a long time, and when he was called to Animals to do a quote he smelled his mate. What follows is a really sweet story of two shifters who find each other and build a wonderful life together.

This is my first book in the Animals universe, and I enjoyed Rye and Griffin’s story. The premise that Rye is a shifter that can’t scent anything a normal human can is interesting when he meets Griffin, his fated mate. I really enjoyed the path to their HEA, with plenty of cute interactions, heat, and wonderful secondary characters, especially Karma. What a great character. I am looking forward to reading other books in this series.

Rye is drawn to Griffin and not being able to scent his mate has them interacting like a human couple. Griffin isn't quite sure why Rye isn't reacting to them finding each other. His parents' story is what he knows but I loved that he was willing to let Rye set the pace; to create their own story. All clicks into place once things are cleared up. Of course, Karma does her magic bringing these two together and setting things in motion for them to have the best HEA.

Rye is a broken omega wolf Shifter and feels no one will want him. Griffin is an alpha fennec fox shifter ready to find his mate. When they meet at Animals, Griffin knows Rye is his mate and realizes Rye doesn't seem to know. Rye tells Griffin that he is broken and he understands if Griffin doesn't want to see him again. Rye is surprised when it doesn't matter to Griffin, I really enjoyed this book.

WOW!! So Good!!

Well written story and well developed characters! Although each book is a standalone, they are much better if read in order. Other people from the series show up in the books. Rye, an omega wolf, is considered useless and non-mateable by his pack. When he is human, he has the regular sense of smell that humans have. When he is a wolf, he has no sense of smell at all! So he will never smell his mate!

I just can't get enough of these stories centered around the patrons, employees and friend of the owners of
Animals club and it's offshoots. Each one is unique and this one is no exception. Griffin is the perfect mate for Rye. I loved how their story grew. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

Once again, Karma is bringing two lovely souls together...Griffin and Rye was a cute couple. I loved how they met and made a full circle towards the end. Hated that Rye thought he was "broken" but having Griffin and all the "Animals" crew around him helped him realize he was special and that what made this really an enjoyable read.

Rye and Griffin's story is a sweet fast tale of finding the one that will love you for you. Griffin shows Rye what he means to him and the love that he has always want. Good romance with the perfect amount of heat, passion and love that has you lost in the story.

Good Story, Poor Title

This is another great story from the Omegas of Animals series. A broken wolf and a fox are fated mates, but one of them doesn't know at first. Karma once again does her mysterious best to bring them together. I just felt that the title was not as good as others in the series. It just seems cheesy and unimaginative.

No sense of smell

Griffin dented his mate not long after he entered Animals Club. There's a problem, however. Rye, his mate, has no sense of smell as a human or a wolf. Fate will find a way!
