Not sure how to rate this, it is barely a 4 stars but it did hold my interest. I only wish the HEA was a bigger thing.

Mind boggling
So I've read all 5 of them have to say when I started I didn't think I could but found a strange need to finish them. with them what I did find hard to deal with is that a woman would promote the idea that what women need a strong hard man. Being a lady who's been around a long time I know that everyone should live as they are fit freedom is the key but I did have trouble with this that young lady's as these would just submit so completely. But I do believe that it should be a case of each to their own. But the one I did have an issue with is the daddies, that one was just a little to close to crossing the line, I will try other books by this author will be interested to see what else she has to offer.

What will happen when she falls for Philip, her disciplinarian master? Fast-paced read with a steamy story and plenty of sizzling scenes. I liked it.

This is an erotic story featuring D/S and punishment. The story is well written and easy to read with a style that is detailed and engaging at the same time. While our story has an SF twist to it, the general subject matter fits well within the expectations of this author: Good story, well developed characters, plenty of D/S and spankings, as well as plenty of steam. If you like these things, this one is a sure fire formula for success.

Spankingly hot erotic read. Sara (h) finds herself the subject of reparations training when her friend and boss puts her forward to be disciplined by the Magisterians as reparations. Major/Philip (H) is there to train, dominate and conquer her with spankings & canings, nudity, masturbation, medical examination, anal training and more...most of which is share publicly to make them aware of what they face if they resist the Magisterians. Sara is strong feisty and not going to give in readily, not expecting to fall for her disciplinarian master. There is a lot of hot sexy potent action mixing pleasure and pain. It's an intense erotically pleasurable read!

Okay this is the 3rd of Emily Tiltons Galactic Discipline books I’ve read and I am trying to figure out the world (universe? Galaxy?) she has written. The snippets of information we get about the Magisterians and the patriarchal society they are imposing on all the other planets keeps me reading. I want to know more about this Vionian Empire and why they went to war against the Magisterians. I want to know why the war failed. I wish she would give us a full sci-fi novel with all of those elements in it but alas, I will continue to figure the story out by reading the rest of these. If you have any information….

it wasn’t the peace agreement the Artemisia expected.
Sara is a high ranking official in the Artemisia government. Now the Artemisia backed the wrong party in a recent war and it is going to come back and bit them in a big way and Sara is going to be one of poster children for the demanded reparations. Philip the major plays a big role as the conquering hero in this tale. This naughty little piece has it all and is just what one expects a Tilton book should be. This was a great story. Sara will be going through training to become a submissive too the handsome major. Philip (the major) will be training her through dominance, spankings, nudity, medical exams, and public humiliation. This is a very erotic story with a master that excelles mixing pain and pleasure. Couldn't put the book down.

Cracking
I really enjoyed this, a twist on the series I have already read by Emily Tilton. I did find the jumping from first to third person when she is talking about herself a bit confusing but otherwise this was a great read.

I have really come to love the stories in this series. The couples work well with each other, even if she doesn't think so at first. The world building is first rate and the level of background details really fills out the scene. Well Done!.

I enjoyed the book for the most part. I would’ve appreciated more background on both worlds and their governments. I also think everything went way too fast. I think the domination and degradation could have been for a much longer time than one day.

Uncomfortably Condescending
It just felt uncomfortable and it was condescending. I am not prudish and enjoy dark stories but this one just didn't do anything for me as I found the male characters condescending. Was not a fan sorry.

This was. An unexpectedly good read, well written and well plotted and not just the rather mundane repeated sameness as in many of the similar genre!

November 13, 2025I just DNF because I lost interest and never finished the book. I think I was most put off by the word, "cunny" and the psychology of the mass broadcasting and embarrassment didnt make sense to me. I just wasn't as turned on as I expected.

The story is really cheesy. The whole book is centered off 1 day. Its basically just unbelievable porn, the story line about matches a porn one.

If you are into the degradation/forced sex with threat of harm/"punishment" WITHOUT ANY consent. This whole novella is a that...literally. I've read bdsm, but this is NOT it for me at all. Then the cherry on top, a whole book on forced submission/degradation...love 😔. Gross misrepresentation, just gives rape/Stockholm's syndrome. First and last time for me...triggered and irritated.
