This author is also published under Quinn Carno.

I’ve been writing stories since I was a child. I'll read anything, but the book has to grab me from the first page and if I can achieve that in my own stories, then I think that’s when a little bit of magic happens.

I've written two series and co-authored one book.

The first series is Madeleine, a historical American frontier series of nine books which has some paranormal for those who love Native American folklore, spirit guides and spirit animals. The first book begins in 1799 in the pacific northwest of the New World where Ryder Benedict goes to find answers to his past. This is long before the west was settled by Europeans, when tribes still fought with bows and arrows and lances and when bison herds still roamed across the great plains and numbered in their millions. In this series you'll travel to England, where Europe is a powder keg due to the ambitions of Napoleon Bonaparte. If you love adventure in the old days of fur trappers, native Americans, some paranormal with spirit guides, then you may like these books There are six books already published with Book 7 due to be published late 2024 and Book 8 and 9 in early 2025. Most of these books are big reads with 400-530 pages long, filled with love and loss, ambition and greed, jealousy and hate and ultimately revenge.
Order of the series:
When the Wolf Loves
When the Wolf Hunts
When the Wolf Bites
When the Wolf Dreams
When the Wolf Breathes
When the Leaving is Hard
Book 7
Books 8 and 9 will be coming in early 2025.
These books are in KindleUnlimited.

My second series is two books in the escape west by wagon train series. This tells the adventures of two young women escaping west to start new lives, never expecting to find love on the way.
Order of the series:
Ella
Ruby
Both these books are in Amazon Prime and KindleUnlimited.

The book I co-wrote with my friend Carena McGregor is the first book in a series called Brides Bound for Oregon. I wrote this under the name Quinn Carno to keep this series separate from my Sadie Conall books. I hope to write some books using this name in a more modern genre some day soon, meanwhile Carena will carry on the series without me, due to the workload of my own books.
These books are in KindleUnlimited.

I also hope to start work on the Archard family in 2025 once I've put Ryder and Madeleine to rest, although I'm fine with that after nine books. You first met the Archard family in Ruby and I'm planning on writing three books in this series.
Order of Series:
Scarlett
Levi
Jed

I really liked this one!

You don't have to read the first book in the series to enjoy this one, but I am glad I did. Ruby is a complex character through both novels. In 'Ruby', our heroine really comes into being herself, unapologetically and endearingly.
This book begins as Ruby arrives at Sitters Fort to find out that there are no singing halls, and that San Francisco is only a small mission. With war with Mexico not quite over, California dreams unravel into uncertainty. Ruby meets a ranching family who help her make her own luck, and what happens when you meet the handsome male equivalence to herself?
Cons:
As with book one, this one is riddled with grammar errors that should have been discovered by any editor. Often, I quit books that are full of careless errors. I'm glad I continued with this because it was a wonderful adventure!

Wish I could have given more stars!

I'm not a writer, but a bookaholic, especially frontier, mail order brides and the journey west! Please tell me there's going to be more to this story!! Like seeing Ella again and Tucker enjoying returning to the hauling life, maybe he and Martha will meet? There are so many more things I want to hear/ read about!
Please if you're not going to write more in this series, send me a brief synopsis of the rest of them! Moss happy? Maybe Tucker meets Nell? So many questions i dont know what I would do if you don't write more!! How am I supposed to sleep at night?

Ruby Finds Love in California!

I read and reviewed Part 1 of this two-part series about Ella who took Ruby along on her wagon train west trek. When I finished, I just had to start Part 2 to see what happened after Ella continued toward Oregon and Ruby took a southern route toward California. The trip was interesting and Ruby found the love of her life, a career as an entertainer in a saloon that she and her husband owned and operated, and got involved in the Gold Rush. Ruby also gave herself a really bad haircut!

Read this book to get all the details. I literally could not put the book down--I had to see what happened next. I hope you enjoy this book also.

Fascinating setting

I read the final sentence of this book and whispered, “Wow.” That’s a five-star tale. It covered ground that was new-to-me and interesting. In the first book of the series I learned a little about mule skinners. I had never thought to wonder how frontier trading posts got their goods. In Ruby, the Archard trading family was an integral and fascinating part of the plot and setting.

Errors, such as auto correct is famous for, will bother some readers.

Good read

Enjoyed the first book more .l found that this a little too long and draw out a little . A lot of description on things that seambed as if it wanted just to fill a page .But still enjoyed. The first book l read against l could read this one and still enjoyed. Know from a short passage that was wrote mentioned the wagon train in the mountains but unless l missed it you never found out what happened to them .Think l will have to trace it on Internet. I really love reading about the wagon trains and the courage of those people. Please write another wagon west one .

Wonderful story

This book and Ella are the 2 best wagon train stories I've read. I love stories of early settlers. When I was younger I thought a wagon train would have been so fun and exciting! Now I just can't imagine how so many went through such hardship to come west! These characters are believable and endearing. Pretty sure there will be a continuation of this story (maybe Scarlett?) Coming soon!

A really interesting story of life in early California settlement time.

The glimpse into traveling to the western region by wagon trains and what happened once you got to California was a really amazing tale. I enjoy thinking about what I was reading even after I put the book down for a while. I definitely wasn’t cut out to be a frontier women but nice to get an idea of the struggles that these folks faced.

A Disappointing follow up to Ella.

I read this book immediately after I read Ella, the first book in the series which I really enjoyed & gave a 5* rating.
I felt the book was too long, the descriptions were long & monotonous. There were many grammatical mistakes also poor proof reading. In truth I was bored but wanted to know how the story ended. I wouldn’t read another in this series if one was written, nor could I recommend it. Sorry Sadie!

I really enjoyed reading this book

It's been a rainy cold day and this was a good book to read. I enjoyed all of the characters but especially Ruby. I could read more of the story as I'm sure their could be a lot more adventures for Sawyer and Ruby. Thank you Sadie for sharing Ruby's story.

Very enjoyable

This book was one that wasn't to be ignored. While not reading it, my mind kept thinking about what was to come. I was never disappointed, just kept getting better and better. Great story line, interesting characters, and an unexpected ending. Keep writing, you are a very talented author!

Good story but the author needs a better proofreader

I enjoyed the story and the characters, but the constant printing errors ruined it for me. Words were missing or just wrong. Its obvious someone just used spell check without making sure the right word was used. For example, several times the word "bought" was used when it was obvious she meant "brought."

A super excellent series

I loved this story more than the first one even though I enjoyed it also. It was full of adventure on the trail, telling how the comradship between the settlers kept their spirits up as they struggled over the days.

My only disappointment was the end of the story and there was no book 3 of Scarlett.?!

Great story about feeling unloved and alone, yet overcoming with the help of friends.

She was raised without love, family, or a sense of belonging. He is simply a free spirit not yet captured by a woman. They embark on a venture together and experience much. Highly recommended for all readers.

It was a little different from the others that I have read. There was more emphasis on the people than the hardships of traveling. Although the story was long the story flowed nicely. No nagging, dragging on. It was very interesting to me. Love scenes were described only lightly but definitely there. Clean and sweet.
It's a good book for any age. I also read the first one. Same opinion.

This is as close to a 5 start book as you can get. Ruby takes $5000 from her fathers safe and flees New York. She suppords herself by singing and finally winds up in what is to become California. She partners with Sawyer to open and operate a saloon where she is the featured singer. She and Sawyer begin to fall in love and become separated when Sawyer has to return to his familys ranch. He finally finds her and they are offically married before they retun to New York for her to face her father. I really liked thyis story and enjoyed it as it is well written is pretty much a page turner.

Great Read

This book was enthralling and the story flowed smoothly. In the first book Ruby's character left me feeling as if I didn't really care what happened to her. But in this book her character was developed in such a great way that I wanted to know her story.

Tighten The Sails

It kept my attention as the wagons rolled west with all the worldly possessions they'd have for months on end . They wasn't sure if where they were goiing, but expected it to be better than what they were leaving behind.

Wagons and Gold

The story was intriguing with history events and the characters involved made it more so, I was disappointed in the improper spelling and grammatical use of some words such as breath and breathe, At first I thought it was just a typo but this error was throughout,
