She never expected to fall in love with a mafia don.
He never expected to fall in love at all.
But will their love be enough?

Four weeks ago, Jaxon Pace, the billionaire "Don Supreme" of Chicago's underground mafia syndicates, took a bullet.
This bullet was meant for the only girl who stole his heart, the beautiful Natalie Tyler, a simple nurse from Miami.
Overwhelmed by the horrors she witnessed in Chicago, Natalie chose to return home, leaving the broken and brokenhearted Jaxon Pace to recover on his own.

A month after her visit, Natalie's heart still belongs to Jaxon...And you better believe The Don Supreme is coming to collect HIS woman.
But when he arrives he learns that Natalie has a little surprise for him: She is pregnant.

However, his enemies will give the happy couple no reprieve.

Especially, Jaxon's presumed-dead ex-girlfriend, Rachel, and her psychotic brother, Michael.
They are the leaders of Chicago's newest twisted mafia clan, the Two-Headed Dragon.
The Two-Headed Dragon has one goal: the complete destruction of the Pace Family Mafia.
If successful, they will destroy the entire mafia hierarchy that has guided Chicago's underworld for a century, sending the city into complete chaos.

Will Natalie & Jaxon's love be enough to defeat the dangers of the present...and the demons of the past?

Filled with exhilarating highs, steamy romance, and heart-pounding suspense, "Ignite" picks up where "Catalyst" left off, and joins our favorite mafia couple as they fight for each other in a world filled with deceit, depravity, and unspeakable darkness.

Heart of the inferno series have stolen my heart completely ❤ I love it so much

I'm not so good with words and I'll try to not spoil anything for those who haven't read it yet. ALSO, this is my FIRST ever review on a book that's how much I've fallen in love with it. So speaking or writing from my heart I review catalyst and ignite.

Catalyst book 1 of the series was amazing, A great mafia book like never before. You get slow burn romance leading up to steamy scenes 🥵❤ action packed with amazing FL characters developed as well as for the other characters in the book ( which to me now it's not JUST any book, but THE book ) Nicole is amazing bringing this book how she did truly WONDERFULLY AMAZING. Don't get intimidated by how "big" or "thick" the books are 😏 lol you'll be drawn to every page and every word leading you to the end wanting to read the second book IGNITE

IGNITE book 2 *whew* let me tell ya this book has made me feel things like no other book has made me feel. I've smiled so hard, screamed, gasped shocked by events that happened, make me jump from my seat...hell made me jump out of my own damn skin, it has broken and shattered my heart into infinite ♾ pieces making me wail, crying to sleep at 2 am from reading the book and just a huge roller coaster ride. Certainly bringing a strong topic I myself haven't read in other books before all I can say is grief 😥.

Love the view points of Natalie and Jaxon our favorite mafia couple.their love growing as well as their characters making them stronger as they face so many challenges. The introduction of new characters and more info on the others as well as a SHOCKING TWIST IN THE END...AGAIN!! Leaving me on my toes until 2022 😫 I give these books a 5 star but I also give it my heart ❤ THANK YOU NICOLE FOR BRINGING US ALL OF THIS. your story ideas into amazing works for us to read sharing the magic. Bless you darling so so much 🙏🙏

Wow! This book had my heart racing whether it was from the action, the constant threats on the main characters, or the spice! Like the first book, points of view shift between Jaxon and Natalie. Ignite steps up the spice threefold from book one and it’s so good! There is romance, passion, aggression, violence, death, and grief. I loved the strength of the female characters. Empowered and courageous. I simply couldn’t put it down. What a great series. I will absolutely preorder the third book whenever it is available!

UMMM. WHAT? This book got me drunk. Not just because I had to grab alcohol to deal with the pain it was making me feel at times, but I was definitely drunk off these characters. I loved Catalyst, but IGNITE?? mind blowing. An hour later I just keep sighing because of that ending. How in the world am I supposed to wait until spring to read book 3!? AHHH. Well done Nicole. Respect. 🙌🏻

HOLY CRAP! I thought I loved Catalyst? This is even more incredible.

This book really makes you feel all of the emotions. I laughed, felt my heart melt, cried my eyes out, and still am in shock over the plot twist and ending.

This series is what the “mafia” world needed to really turn around the same boring stories. This is new, original, and highly addictive. I love the characters and their interactions. The spice definitely picked up this book as well. I NEED MORE!

If I could rate this book an infinite amount of stars I would♾🖤
Wow where to begin…
To the author I think you are a Goddess and I would write ABSOLUTELY anything you put out.
Inferno book 2 picks up just where we leave off in Catalyst. This is a romance book but so much more happens. The action does not let up and to say I was on the edge of my seat is an understatement.
It amazes how authors and especially Nicole can weave together such a beautiful and intricate story from her head.
I was so perfectly happy reading it one moment and then the next chapter I would be crying.
I’m also at a lost for words on how I can love these characters even more so then I did with the first book
Natalie grows into her own and turns into the Queen of the Mafia. I respect the HELL out of Natalie and everything she goes through in this book which is a whole hell of a lot. She came out stronger that ever. She truly is “a little badass”
And Jaxon is still such a badass and hot character but also so much more. He turns into someone that Natalie can really count on through all the trials and tribulations. Together as couple they turn into such a force to be reckoned with.
I’m in awe with this book. It deserves way more recognition than it has.
Book 2 Inferno comes out September 1st
If you have read this till the end you are a saint and I love you.
Spring 2022 for the conclusion ♾🖤🗡

My goodness, was this book exciting! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! There's so much action, deception, romance, and heartache in the book and it was amazing! I never knew what to expect. The character development of Natalie is wonderful... She's a true Queen in such a dark world. I am so excited to continue this series and highly, HIGHLY recommend this read!

OMG I was totally blown away. You thought Catalyst book 1 was good. Well everyone Nicole Fanning did a number on us . I was totally emotional on this story it was so blow away and much better. The characters in the story oh my God you will cry you will laugh your will be Omg.

I couldn’t put my book down. Jaxon Pace and Natalia Tyler wow. And the romance wow very hot and spicy.

On the beginning Natalia Tyler goes back to Miami. In the meanwhile she couldn’t stop thinking about Jaxon if he was out of a coma. It’s been weeks she haven’t heard what was going on with Jaxon. She was miserable but her job as a nurse taking care of her patients especially Walter. She also found out she was pregnant.
After leaving Walters house she went to the store to get some groceries she met one of her coworkers there a doctor he decided to help her walk her home. once you unlock her door. She was telling Dr. Hottie that she was fine. Nat didn’t want him to come inside her house. Until she heard a familiar voice telling Dr. Hottie to leave.

Jaxon was sitting on Natalia living room see all commotion. And need to get that jerk out. But best part is when Nat tells Jaxon she was pregnant.
With in a week Natalia and Jaxon life change from loosing her home and car exploration. Omg it was so good .

Nicole it was a honor being in your arc team. And enjoying this beautiful adventure again with Jaxon and Natalia. But really you had to leave another cliff hanger 😉😉😉 love it thank you so much

The perfect next installment to the Heart of the Inferno series! It picks up right where Catalyst ended. Catalyst built the background but kept you turning pages. This one is more fast paced and does not disappoint. You’ll keep telling yourself ‘one more chapter’ and suddenly it’ll be 3am.

This books starts where we left Natalie back home, in book one “Catalyst”, while Jaxon is still recovering from his gunshot wound.

He shows up just when she thinks she’ll never fear from him again. And… hold on to your hat because then it just takes off from there!

This book is fast pace with a great storyline. It’s suspense, drama, romance and has great spicy scenes. Natalie gets a taste of Jaxon’s more dominating side in the bedroom too 😮‍💨

Natalie is becoming quite the strong Mafia Don girlfriend

“Regina Vestra means ‘Queen of Hearts,’ and I promise you my dear, you are every bit worthy of that title.

What to expect (might be spoilers to some)

A surprise pregnancy.
Rachel, Jaxon’s ex and Jessica’s mom, shows back up and the confrontation ends with Natalie shot this time, and losing the baby.
Deception and another surprise from one of Jaxon’s closest men, Ethan.
More mafia drama with the underworlds other leaders and the hunt for Michael.
An ever evolving relationship between Natalie and Jaxon and little Jessica as they are becoming a family.
And it ends with Marriage but not with out more drama to come.

I’m listening to book 3 “Flashpoint” now, and already by chapter 10 I’m on the edge of my seat. Review to come 👏🏼

Let me just say this has everything I love in a mafia romance. A strong FMC and an Alfa MMC that you want to root for.

Absolutely loved this book.
Narrated by the talented Maxine Mitchell and Grayson Owens

Okay, okay so Ignite, the second book in the Heart of the Inferno series was jam packed. So many emotions through the whole thing. I laughed, I CRIED, I was angry and I was just pleased as punch with some of the events in this book. Nice twists and turns to keep you on your toes too. There are some pretty dark events in this book, so I would definitely check the triggers on this one. Totally heartbreaking. On a side note, Jaxon, being the Mafia Don Supreme definitely needs better security. Maybe it’s the Betas lacking because the Alphas are top notch. Anyway, I enjoyed it and am looking forward to moving onto the next book in the series, Flashpoint.

The audiobooks for this series are banging. Maxine as Natalie is just perfection. Grayson is equally as good. I get a kick every time he says an “I chuckle” line. Why? I don’t know I just like it okay! 10/10 for Ignite.

Holy mf cannoli. To say I’m obsessed with this series is putting it mildly. It’s consuming my life, and when I’m not listening or reading it, I’m thinking about it. I have not been this immersed in a series in so long. It’s like a breath of fresh air. Jaxon is badass af as is Natalie. Natalie is literally the bossest ass bish ever. And Jaxon is the book husband standard. Morally gray ✅ Hot as hell ✅ mafia Don ✅ touch her and die ✅ soft only for her ✅ a great daddy ✅ mobster in the streets but freaky in the sheets ✅

This book is literally NONSTOP action and swoon. There is always something happening. It’s literal crack. I cannot get enough of this series!

Catalyst left me wanting, and Ignite lit all my senses on fire!

I was fortunate to find Book One with only a couple of weeks before the launch of Book Two, and oof - Ignite did not disappoint.

We pick up from Catalyst's hangover and our lovers are separated. I'm not one to spoil plots, so I HIGHLY recommend picking up Catalyst first to catch up on details. Jaxon and Natalie meet at the crossroads to justify their instant connection, how she as a (plain jane) nurse, literally fell into the arms of Chicago's Mafia Don and all the drama that comes with. She's resolved some baggage with the family and the ex, and he's seeing an ex files come back into his life. Nicole starts Ignite off with a BANG as Jaxon follows Natalie to Miami and hilarity, chaos and hot summer spice comes out to play.

For me, a constant theme in Nicole's writing is the philosophical but romantic debate of - could you be better without me DESPITE my desires to burn down the world for you? And with Ignite, not only do you get this POV from the the leads, but every character battles with this rationality. And Nicole's writing burrows deep into the recesses of your dark heart to lure out that selfish side to scream "take me, love me and never let go" to a profound subtle reasoning that proves when people have choices, that unconditional choice "to keep and be kept" justifies the madness. Oh, trust me, Ignite is going to bring out the crazies! Old nemesis, new threats, the Miami Cartel and tons of pyrotechnics to fill the boredom. I literally tried to squeeze in reading this book everywhere, I couldn't put it down.

I found myself giggling, crying and in awe of the reverence and depths of the characters as each of their choices ultimately shapes their futures. The world building and character development has layers, there's no fodder to sacrifice, everyone has a place and meaning. I was just floored.

The SPICE temperatures also get doubled down in Ignite, Jaxon's and Natalie's true selves come out to each other in and out of the bedroom. And Alpha Team? Nicole Fanning is an equal opportunist when it comes to sharing getting her characters some action. There's a bit of unexpected and flirty moments for everyone.

Prepare to feel the burn, Ignite delivers. Have some tissue ready, settle into your favorite nook and eat this book up - so worth it.

If you were blown away by Catalyst, then Nicole's second book, Ignite is going to take you to another place completely.

To give a summary of the plot would be a total disservice to the book. It will take you on a JOURNEY. You will feel so much happiness, you'll feel shock, outrage and even devastation. It will be HOT and spicy, you'll swoon, but most of all - it will BLOW YOUR MIND.

I cannot tell you HOW many times I was caught off guard by plot points that I didn't even remotely see coming. It's frigging genius.
Nicole puts so much passion and thought In to her storylines and it is SO evident that she knows *EXACTLY* where she wants the story to go and where they'll end up.

These characters are all so 3-dimensional. There's depth, and they're not predictable but they all have such unique personalities- even the supporting characters. That you KNOW who is talking oftentimes without even needing to be told.
Nicole has woven SUCH a detailed world, and created such REAL and raw trials for these characters (obviously with some exaggeration- because DUH it's a mafia book!) But their reactions and emotional growth are so true and real. It just all makes SENSE.

This book made me EXCITED. It made me want more, it made me want to talk about it.

I want more people to read it so I can talk them through chapters 29-30 and watch them just drop their jaws in the epilogue. I want to suffer along until book 3 with as many people as I can!!

SHE DID IT AGAIN!! Author Nicole Fanning has more than successfully written a sequel to Catalyst. This book is fantastic. Straight out the gate with love, action, suspense, passion, and humor. I cried tears of sadness and joy with this one. Good boys go to heaven but bad boys bring heaven to you, and her lead is the sexiest damn bad boy on the planet. The only thing better than her male lead is the lioness female lead. These two can and will conquer the world together and you’ll love being on the ride with them. Just when you think you can’t ask for more, she leaves you hanging and doing just that……begging for more. The next installment can’t come quick enough. I haven’t looked forward to the next book in a series like this in all my life.

HOLY WOW I thought book 1 took me on a rollercoaster but book 2 took it to a whole new level!! I didn’t want to put it down and my heart never stopped racing. The spice got leveled up, the stakes were higher and the emotions were all over the place. I LOVE Natalie’s strength and character development while she finds her power and does what she needs to do for her family and the people she cares most about. She’s a force to be reckoned with! And the love that Jaxon has for Natalie is something special…he has such a soft spot for but also has the “touch her and ☠️” vibes and I’m here for all of it! They really went through so much in this book…there’s romance, passion, pain, aggression, violence and grief but they go through it all together and it’s tragic yet beautiful.

I… I don’t have words. It’s 7am, it kept me up all night reading! I could NOT put it down.

This series is literally everything I needed in a mafia book, and the author! The queen of mafia herself.

I’ve always found mafia books, to be sometimes slightly boring and repetitive so when I say this book is not like the rest I mean it.

The action, the twists, the spice and the sad parts :( I ugly cried alittle BUT, the female lead is a badass, and then the mafia boss himself… damn honestly read this series.

Honestly if I could give this book a higher rating I really really would.

HOW AM I MEANT TO WAIT TIL THE NEXT BOOK?!

10000000/10 recommend reading this series

(Idk honestly don’t even know if this review makes any sense I am soo tired and I don’t regret a thing goodnight xo)

OMG

Now, here I am waiting for book 3 like an addict. I love Nicole's words. This story is amazing, and the plot twists just keep on coming. I love Nat and Jax's love. They're amazing and so well written. They're flawed, but still beautiful in their brokenness. This book is worth every tear, every laugh out loud moment, and every time you want to throw one of these characters out the window. Please go read this book.

Holy Forking Shirtballs I was on the edge of my seat for most of this book. It was a long read, but altogether a fast one because I had such a hard time putting it down. The Scenes were dramatic, compelling, and heart stopping. Jaxon is everything. He's compelling in a new and fresh way that doesn't revolve around a big bad crime lord, but a man with a good heart trying to do right by the legacy he was left and the city he loves- and his family. Nicole really found herself as a character in this book and we got to watch her hesitantly flex her power in a few push comes to shove moments. I look forward to future installments where we see that queen side of her blossom. I love that the secondary characters compel me as much as the two mains. I love Charlie to the moon and back, and the rest of the Alpha squad as well. Nicole has not just written two books at this point. She's written a world to continue building her dynasty upon.

4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 The second book in the series was such a whirlwind! The stakes were higher, the secrets ran deeper, and the action never stopped. I loved watching Natalie’s growth; her confidence shines through as she steps fully into her role in Jaxon’s world. You can feel how much stronger she’s become, and the way Jaxon finally acknowledges that is everything. The twists, the danger, and the chemistry between them kept me completely hooked.

This book is a fast-paced, emotional, roller coaster of a ride that doesn’t stop. From the first page, it picks up right where Catalyst ended and has you holding your breathe the entire time!!!

Natalie’s growth and development in this book takes her for soft-spoken to being the Queen that she is, and has you in her corner the whole time!

Natalie and Jaxon bring the heat, love, and desire for one another without it feeling over done or predictable.

I highly recommend this book for the jaw dropping, laugh out loud moments, and unpredictable twists and turns.
