Tito San Giovanni is everything I could ever want in a man. It’s a shame my job is to take him down.
It was supposed to be the job of a lifetime. Work with the genius younger San Giovanni brother to help develop new tech for their mafia enterprise, and walk away with a huge check and a wealth of new experience. There’s only one problem. Well—two, if you count the FBI.
The first? Tito is gorgeous, nothing like the shy nerd I expected when I was given the job. He’s got a face and a body to die for, a big brain and an even bigger—well, I can only imagine. And I do, unfortunately. Way too often—especially considering that I’ve never even seen one in real life.
The kind of tech he’s showing me, that is.
The second problem? The aforementioned FBI. They want me to work from the inside and take down the San Giovanni machine. The things they’ve told me about Tito’s family make it impossible to turn them down—but the closer I get to him, the more I wonder who’s really telling the truth here. And to make it even harder? I’ve never been good at keeping secrets.
This one, though, I have to keep with my life. If I don’t?
I might lose more than just my heart.

I couldn’t get through a chapter without my mind wondering off or having to re read a sentence two or three times. I stopped at chapter 7 and skipped to the ending
Don’t waste your time and read this books. This is not a romance it’s an aspiring author who seems to think readers only care about stories with billionaires There is no build in their romance or anything other than 1 thing. A whole story told about one thing then when that event happened the story was over. I rolled my eyes so much while reading this I got a headache
DNF after chapter 1. I found the premise to be ridiculous. A mysterious man who refuses to give his name, any information about who is he or who he works for, is ushered into the FMC's office and says (wish I was kidding) that he's there to "make her an offer she can't refuse." If she agrees to work on a project that he also refuses to tell her anything about, she will earn $150k. She signs a contract he hands her and thinks to herself: "Hmmm, what did I just get myself into?" No. Just no.
This book was silly but the depiction of Sout and Tito’s love was enjoyable. The ending felt rushed and ridiculous to get to a HEA, and that brought my rating down. Also, this book could have used further editing as there were many typos. Likely won’t be reading any of the other books in this series.
I enjoyed the fast pace of the story and all trouble Scout gets into . The happy ever after ending was great. I will not recommend this story for the young adult reader. The sex is too descriptive.
