ಕೆ.ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಅವರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು 1954 ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 21 ರಂದು. ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮದ್ದೂರು ತಾಲೋಕು ಕೊಪ್ಪ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ. 1972ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಬಿ.ಎ.ಪದವಿ(ಸುವರ್ಣ ಪದಕದೊಂದಿಗೆ). 1978ರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೇ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಅರ್ಥಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ.
